When we had our first meeting with her to see if she was someone we wanted to work with, she suggested a different time for the wedding to make sure we had daylight photos for our December wedding and gave us an overall timeline. She was easy to talk to and incredibly receptive to any ideas we had. We knew right away we wanted to book with her! My husband and I can be extremely awkward when taking photos. We get self-conscious about things and we over think every little thing we are doing. Right away, Shelby made us feel comfortable for our engagement photos and it showed in the gallery we received only a few hours later! Mind you, she also took our photos while holding our 65 lb German Shephard/Lab mixed dog when he wasn't in the photos themselves. Over the year, I posted every single photo and every time I looked at the gallery, we found more and more photos I loved. We then did our Christmas photos with her this past October. This time, I let her do whatever she wanted for our poses. Every single Christmas photo I am literally in love with and we used them all over our rehearsal dinner and wedding, in addition to our engagement photos! She even captured so many sunset photos in the very few minutes we had where the sun peaked from behind the clouds and I still have a hard time not obsessing over them! Then came time for our wedding this past weekend. She arrived early and got right to documenting our day! Shelby walked through rain and down hills to make sure we captured every spot we wanted, and the pier photos she captured are literally a dream! She captured so many candid moments of the wedding party and our family and gave me the opportunity to relive our wedding over and over! She also captured the most perfect photos of our fur baby in his suit, as well as, lightsaber photos for my husband! She went with the flow of the day and made everything so incredibly easy!!! She is the sweetest person you ever met and just made me feel so incredibly comfortable, that it really shows in our photos!! My husband worked with her second shooter and said he fit in perfectly with his boys! She was editing our photos during the reception and had 100 preview photos of the whole day sent to us 12 hours after our wedding ended!!! We even received some right as we were leaving our venue and she shot right until the end of the wedding!! We are so excited to see the rest of our photos and are so thankful to have found her for our forever photographer! If you are looking for an amazing, sweet, patient, creative, and easy going photographer, hire Shelby!! You will not regret it!! She will go ABOVE AND BEYOND for your wedding day, even fixing your hair, train and veil to give you the perfect pictures!! Hiring Shelby was the best decision we ever made!! She helped make both days feel so special. Photos can be challenging with a large group and Shelby is really a pro! She was so organized and had us be prepared with everything ahead of time and let me know what the timeline would look it. She was so patient and respected all of our wishes! She got the best candid photos and had everyone laughing all day and night! We hired a last minute videographer who was a family friend and Shelby worked so amazing alongside her. I am also so glad we decided to go with a second photographer through Shelby to work with my husband and his groomsmen for the beginning half of the day. She was also amazing and unbelievably patient, especially to work a group of guys who have been friends since they were 5 years old. My favorite part was that I woke up the morning after my wedding and already had preview photos to share with our family and friends. And then a few days later, our whole album was ready! Everyone, including my venue, bridal party, and guests had nothing but amazing things to say about Shelby and her assistant. Such an amazing experience! whole time! We booked Shelby for our engagement shoot and wedding and the photos are STUNNING! From the moment I had the initial call with Shelby she was personable and easy to connect with. She also produced our wedding album in just a week and provided us with previews less than 24 hours after the wedding! She is just fantastic! She produced amazing photos of our wedding day the only thing I wish I could have communicated with Shelby was to take more photos of me with guests, i did not have any photos with my wedding guests however she did have a second shooter who took photos of guests while we were taking photos with the bridal party. I wish i had a few photos of moments hugging my guests or talking to my grandma etc. But Shelby is great and if i had communicated with her beforehand i am sure she would have captured those moments! I hope to work with Shelby again in the future!

rolled around to 2020, obviously things changed quite a bit!! Shelby throughout the entire process, from when we hired her, through all the Covid craziness, was terrific! She is funny and enthusiastic and works her magic, fast!! We LOVED our engagement photos and while, we moved our reception out to 2021, we had a mini ceremony in our backyard on our original 2020 date. We hired Shelby to photograph this, and I can't tell you how happy I was to have her document the day. She took the such beautiful shots in our backyard! And then, fast forward June 2021, Shelby photographed our wedding reception and did such a fantastic job. She not only took beautiful photographs of my husband and I, she captured such great candids of all our guests. She worked her magic and got us our full set of photos so quickly, we couldn't believe it!! Overall, I highly recommend Shelby for her great work and personality. We will definitely be working with her in the future!!

big day to 2021 and had a small backyard wedding. Shelby reached out to us and came to our backyard wedding to help us capture our small wedding day! All my immediate family, my husband and I were extremely grateful for her dedication and capturing our day. Then our big day came this past June 2021. Shelby was so accommodating making sure she knew all the details before hand. As soon as she walked in she got right to work. Shelby also worked fantastic with all the other vendors. Throughout the entire day, she was right there capturing the moments. Not only is she funny, kind, and great to work with she is fast. That night as we got on the trolley to head back to the hotel I had PREVIEWS!! I couldn’t believe it. Then 2 days after that I was emailed my photo gallery. I know this timing is rare, but I absolutely loved the fast turn around. Shelby is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all brides and grooms! I can’t wait to work with her again one day!
