My now husband HATES taking photos, but during our engagement shoot, she was able to get him to naturally smile, by just being her calming and funny self. And then we got our final galleries for both our engagement and our wedding and I honestly, just find myself going back and looking at the pictures at the most random times because they are gorgeous! She helped with flowers, saved the day by removing a hornet from my wedding dress, coordinated with all the family for photos, asked us if we needed water and was so happy and kind with our family. Our entire family adores her!! We even had assistance helping our groomsmen with boutonnières from her second shooter. Yesenia is extremely flexible and made changes to our schedule seamless when we were running behind on wedding day getting ready! From the moment we booked with her, Yesenia shared in our excitement and helped us navigate through, and combine, all our ideas into the perfect itinerary for the day. As we got closer to our elopement date, the weather forecast called for rain—but that didn't deter Yesenia. She was there with experience and advice to help ensure the rain didn't ruin anything. When our day arrived, she was ready to brave the storm with us—literally! Those photos were phenomenal and such a great sneak peak into what our wedding photos would be like. Then leading up to the wedding Yesenia was always available to me and she was wildly organized with payment information and wedding day details. She brought along another utterly talented assistant photographer, Dale, whom also was a videographer. Dale filmed our ceremony and special dances and was fabulous! Yesenia showed up early on our wedding day, looked so cute and professional and also brought her naturally warm personality. She made not just me and my now husband comfortable but she made our family and friends feel that way too. I could go on and on! Only a couple of short weeks later we’ve received our photos and they are perfection. We got married on a rainy day and she still made us glow. So grateful to have met this gem. She is a Connecticut based and we are from New Jersey and we were able to communicate flawlessly and for our Engagement session she met us halfway in New York and helped us find the perfect location. On the day of the wedding, she was a boss! As soon as she arrive the day started and she had command of the room since the pictures really is a full-day process. My husband and I really appreciate the effort and you can see it in the beautiful way that she captured our day. She's organized and quick thinking. No wedding day goes on with out something going wrong. For us, our videographer did not arrive on time and missed the ceremony. Quickly Yesenia's assistant switched over to video on his camera and was able to capture the full ceremony, and we are so grateful. Finally, out of the many photographers quotes that I received she had the best price for her package and was able to explain and answer all the questions we had in the booking process.
