he handled an unexpected thunderstorm just before the ceremony with impressive flexibility, capturing beautiful moments despite the chaos. We are missing a few standard photos such as a solo bride / groom shot, and a formal portrait facing the camera. While we appreciate Duane’s adaptability, we felt that he could have taken more initiative to capture those key moments after the rain cleared, (there was a cocktail hour after the ceremony where he focused only on guests when the sun was out.) Overall, we love the stunning images he provided and would recommend him to other couples looking for a skilled photographer!

delightful to speak with and I quickly hired him, His communication was reliable and professional during the time leading up to the wedding. I experienced multiple mishaps on the morning of my wedding day (not related to Duane's work), and although I arrived at the venue, flustered, Duane was very calm and understanding. He was punctual, clear with his plan for taking photos during the day, and was flexible with the plan if others tried to change course. During the ceremony and reception, Duane was fabulous. He was so respectful and friendly to all of my friends and family. When there were tensions between members of the bridal party, his calming presence helped me maintain my composure. I was exceptionally impressed by his cultural competence -- he embraced the cultural nuances of my wedding with my Venezuelan and Cuban family and inlaws. Communication was easy with Duane after the wedding. The quality of his photos is spectacular. My husband, family, friends and I were extremely happy with our experience working with Duane and we highly recommend him!

the pictures we received were fabulous! They did a great job of adjusting to the last-minute changes in our schedule as well as making everyone feel comfortable having their pictures taken. Several of our guests came up to us during the wedding and told us how impressed they were with our photographer. 10/10 recommend :)

siest to please but they were so understanding and accommodating. They were even able to send some of our favorite photos to our phones right there at the wedding. last minute due to COVID. Duane was very understanding and let us take our time to decide if we wanted to reschedule (at no extra cost). Ultimately the canceled wedding ended up being quite traumatic (family member almost died from COVID), and it took me months to process and decide that we wouldn't be able to afford trying to have a wedding again. I finally reached out to Duane to tell him that we would not be having a replacement wedding, and was wondering if we could get at least a partial refund (during our initial conversations he had shared his intent to refund clients if needed due to COVID cancellations & we had paid the $1800 full package amount prior to the wedding). Unfortunately, due to a personal situation he wasn't able to refund us anything at the time. We did reach out two more times, and eventually got a response when we wrote a review, and have now received a refund for the non-deposit portion of the photography, which seems like the most fair way for this to end. I think Duane is ultimately a has a good personality and talent, and I wish we had a chance to have him photograph our wedding.

We also included our dogs in the shoot, and Duane was extraordinarily patient while we rangled our dogs in the photos. He was communicative before and after the shoot and was very accomodating. Most importantly, our engagement photos came out beautifully! I highly recommend Duane!
