Every single person (even the gals that did not get a hair or makeup service done) was raving about your skills, professionalism, and just overall good vibes that you put into the world. Cynthia delivered on my hair! I love playing with my hair and coming up with new ideas with new hair accessories. When I told her I wanted to add chains to my up-do she was so excited to do it. I was able to set up my trial 3 months in advance and since I was an out of town bride, she was able to schedule me when I was in town. On the wedding day, they showed up on time, ready to get started. We talked about some minor tweaks to do for the hair and I am still dreaming of that hair! It turned out better than expected! I am not into makeup so I really leaned on my sister and Jasmine who was our other makeup artist for guidance. She was able to deliver on all of my bridesmaid vision and everyone looked so beautiful. She took her time to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable. When I did my makeup she followed the inspirations and made me feel so beautiful for my wedding day. We went with a bold lip and adjusted the lip lining perfectly. When I told her I didn’t like fake eyelashes, she was so helpful with giving me other ideas we could do. Cannot recommend these two enough!

Cynthia and her team made me feel like an absolute princess on my wedding day! My hair was gorgeous and every single person at my wedding complimented it. My eye makeup was so flattering and shimmery and I felt beautiful all day.

I had a wonderful experience getting ready on the day of my wedding with these two lovely ladies. My, now husband and I, came in from Minnesota and I used their services for our small and personal wedding in Colorado. They had great personalities and gave me the confidence I needed to get me through the day!

Cynthia is amazing. For my daughter's wedding she drove in a snowstorm to do our hair for the big day. There were four (4) of us. She allowed more than enough time to do our hair exactly as we each wanted it. To say we were pleased is an understatement. All of us were thrilled - especially the bride. She was stunning. Cynthia has a nice personality - friendly and listens to the customer's request while bringing her expertise. We brought pics; my daughter did a trial then changed her mind which Cynthia was fine about. She is very, very talented. Highly recommend her for your special day!

We had a mix bag when it came to the hair they worked with, some thinner, some curly girlies, and lots of long haired ladies. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. Nothing but great things to say about the Dulce Diem team! I hired them to do my bridal hair & makeup, with a trial for both, plus H&MU for my bridesmaids and mothers. They did a fantastic job on all the services!! As someone who doesn't wear much makeup normally, I was worried that bridal makeup might feel "too much" but that fear melted away after my trial. I especially loved their airbrush foundation application, and that they were skilled working with curly hair. Cynthia was super easy to communicate with throughout the process. They were a pleasure to have around on the big day and made sure everyone was happy with their looks. I hope to work with them again in the future!

I am SOO thrilled I hired Dulce Diem to do my hair and makeup on my big day! I was one of those brides who had a trial and completely changed my mind on what I wanted for my hair the day of. Cynthia was extremely accommodating and calm. She had good ideas and helped me feel at ease. We landed on something I was very happy with. Every person in my wedding party was VERY happy with how their hair and makeup turned out! I also am the bride that wanted to look very natural and like myself, and Jasmine knocked it out of the park! She even trimmed the eyelashes piece by piece to fit my needs. When I began tearing up before walking down the aisle, they were right next to me to touch things up. Best hair and makeup duo! These two ladies are so sweet and nailed the look that I showed them. I didn't have the words to describe exactly what I wanted, but they somehow read my mind and made me feel so confident during my wedding day! I'm always scared with getting makeup done because people normally turn my brown face purple-y or orange-y, but the airbrushed look was barely noticeable, made my skin tone super even looking, and stayed on all day+night! I would 100% recommend Dulce Diem Hair and Makeup for anything!!

Cynthia and her team were absolutely amazing. I do not usually wear makeup, so I wanted to have a pretty neutral look and Amy 100% nailed it. For hair, I came to the trial with some vague ideas of up-dos and Cynthia crafted the perfect hairstyle for my wedding. It was intricate and held so incredibly well for the whole night. The team showed up on time (a little early even!) and were a pleasure to work with. All of my bridesmaids (and flower girl) also loved the styles they had and we all had so many compliments on both the hair and makeup. I would absolutely recommend Dulce Diem to anyone!

Cynthia and her team did an absolutely wonderful job providing hair and makeup services for my wedding! We had quite a diverse group receiving services (from my nearly 70-year old mother to my MOH's 13-year old daughter), and they did such a thoughtful and careful job crafting and executing beautiful, unique looks for all of us. They were so sweet and easy-going, and from all my communication with Cynthia, to my hair and makeup trial, to all the services day-of, I couldn't have been happier. I have very fine hair, and I was blown away by the beautiful, voluminous and braided bohemian updo that she created, and I felt SO glamorous in my makeup all day long. I would absolutely recommend Dulce Diem to any bride, and I am so thankful for them for making my wedding feel so beautiful!

If you are looking for a H/MU artist and Cynthia is available for your date - look no further and book NOW! I had a pretty terrible experience trying to book a hair and makeup artist for my wedding - the original stylist I booked was incredibly unprofessional and ended up dropping my contract a month before my wedding. I'm so lucky that this ended up leading me to Dulce Diem because the experience was absolutely amazing. Cynthia and Jasmin were incredible with both hair and makeup, super friendly, punctual, and very reasonably priced for the quality. Because of the last minute change and the fact that we live out of state, I had to have my trial the day before the wedding which made me incredibly nervous, but I could not have felt better afterwards! Cynthia and Jasmin spent so much time in my trial making sure I was happy with my hair and makeup, all down to the tiny details, and I never once felt bad about asking to change something - in fact they encouraged it to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. They listened to what I wanted, gave great advice, and made all of the adjustments we talked about perfectly on the day of. I loved how particular they both were, and they really made sure I was happy with the final look - and I TOTALLY was! My bridesmaids also looked gorgeous and were so happy with their makeup as well! I really cannot thank these ladies enough for making me feel like the best, most beautiful version of myself on the most special day of my life. 12/10 stars, HIGHLY recommend.

Cynthia and her team were great! They were extremely responsive to communications before the day of and they were timely and very professional and super nice the day of! I didn't really have an idea of what I wanted exactly so they were very patient with me and open to feedback and minor tweaks as they were doing my hair and make up! I would 100% use her again!

I really enjoyed Cynthia and her team for my wedding! My original makeup and hair vendor last minute cancelled on me and Cynthia was able to fit me in and save the day! She and her team did my hair and make up as well as a few of my friends and family and they all looked gorgeous! They only issue we ran into was running short on time, but it all worked out in the end.

I highly recommend Dulce Diem, they provide quality service, and are flexible, professional and easy to work with. Honestly I hadn't really considered hiring someone for hair & makeup but my mother thought it was a good idea and she was SO right! I really wanted a more natural look and was worried having my makeup done by a professional would interfere with that, but there was nothing to worry about. Day-of I felt the perfect balance of natural and elegance. Not only did Cynthia & her team do a way better job than myself and my sister could do, but it was so calming having a mini spa morning-of. I was under slept and a little nervous and by the time my hair and makeup was done I felt only excitement, all the stress had just melted away. They did an excellent job on my bridal makeup as well as on makeup for my bridesmaids. There was a bit of a miscommunication issue at one point prior to our big day, but Cynthia quickly corrected the issue and sent a very thoughtful gift to apologize for any stress caused. Cynthia was amazing! She came to my venue and did my hair and make up for my wedding, along with 2 of my bridesmaids and my mother! My hair stayed in all night even with spot of rain. They were able to make everyones hair and makeup fit the style they wanted . She also made sure during my trial that everything was the way I wanted and made helpful suggestions since I am not a big make up person

Cynthia and the Dulce Diem team did a lovely job. Cynthia did my hair and makeup for my wedding in May 2021, as well as my MOH's hair/makeup. She was thoughtful - listening to the styles we were interested in, while helping us brainstorm ideas. Cynthia was very patient and made sure we were happy with the final result. She really cared that we were satisfied, even if that meant changing things on the spot. Our makeup was airbrushed and the final look (including the hairstyle) stayed all-day (8-10 hours).

From the first video consultation, it was clear that Cynthia truly wanted to get to know me and deliver hair and makeup that I would love on my wedding day. She was flexible and able to accommodate me with a trial run the day before, and we played around with looks until I was happy! Cynthia did an incredible job on my thin hair, making it look full and glam with hair extensions hidden flawlessly and exactly how I wanted. I showed her some inspiration pictures during my trial hair, and she nailed it. The day of the wedding, the hairspray she used held everything way in place but didn’t weight it down. I was obsessed with my hair and so were my bridesmaids who got their hair done. They did 8 ladies hair in total and makeup on my little cousin. Amazing!! I have never felt so gorgeous before. 10/10

Cynthia is such a sweet and caring person. I loved the hair and makeup she did for my elopement. She is very professional and knows what she’s doing. I didn’t feel a pinch in my hair when she was putting on some clip extensions, and she was really careful with my eyes when I said I had contacts on. Cynthia was amazing! Going into the appointment I was nervous and I didn’t know what I wanted. Cynthia helped me right away by asking a few questions and seeing what I liked. She did such a great job applying the makeup and everything was very clean and organized. She even gave me a touch up kit before I left. I didn’t end up needing it though because the makeup stayed all day. I would highly recommend using Cynthia for all occasions.

I LOVED my hair for my brother’s wedding so much, it was exactly what I was hoping for, and more! I wanted to capture my natural curls but also get my hair up and out of my face so my one year old wouldn’t be able to grab it as much, and Cynthia captured exactly what I wanted. She’s amazing at braids too, and she even did a quick trim!! I highly recommend her.

Words can not express how much I loved my hair and makeup, done by Cynthia, on my wedding day. From the first email to the final goodbye, Cynthia was kind, professional, and flexible. Throughout the appointment setups, trial run, and the day of my wedding, Cynthia made me feel special, beautiful, and was SO easy and fun to talk to (which was a huge deal to me.... I wanted to spend my wedding day getting ready with someone who felt like family, and Cynthia truly did feel like family!). For the day of my wedding, Cynthia used an airbrush foundation and subtle false eyelashes. She chose the perfect shade of eyeshadow and a brilliant lip shade that lasted all night long. My hair was put into a side-bun updo, and WOW! My veil stayed in all night long (nine hours!), as did the braided bun. My hair was so amazing, I didn't want to take it out. I love Cynthia and am so glad she was available for my wedding day :0)

Cynthia is amazing!!! She is not only great for weddings but many other special occasions such as quinceañeras! I used her as a stylist for our family photos and received so many compliments on how I looked, I wish she could glam me up on a daily basis!! Let me start by saying I am a curly girl && I wanted to keep my curls for my wedding. Cynthia was all about helping me keep my curls for my updo style!! My day of hair & make up were perfect, better than I could of ever dreamed! She even added some succulent additions to my finished look. (loved that) My makeup stayed through all the fun & tears! The makeup application was airbrush, which left my over all look flawless, smooth & seamless! Cynthia was very professional through out the whole process, she was punctual, as well as calming. I could not have asked for a better hair & makeup artist for the most important day of my life. I can’t forget to add !! She did my husbands hair as well, he wanted khaleesi braids ( GOT) && my husband’s hair looked amazing!! Very intricate, artistic, one of a kind updo style!
