The best Event Garden in the heart of Wine Country
We had our wedding's Welcome/Rehearsal Dinner at Calistoga Inn Restaurant & Brewery. As longtime Calistoga Inn customers, my mom, husband, and I knew we were choosing a quality venue for the Welcome/Rehearsal Dinner. Little did we know that it would turn out even better than we could possibly have imagined!! The remodel of Calistoga Inn's back garden area was incredible, and lent itself to our event beautifully. The food was, as always, absolutely magnificent, and the setup they put together was gorgeous. The new fire pit area served as a perfect stage for speeches, and the waitstaff was kind and helpful. Anyone who is thinking of having their event here will not be sorry! Michael, Lindsay, and the rest of the Calistoga Inn team will make sure that everything goes as perfectly as it did for our special evening.
Had our rehearsal dinner with a group of 35 people at the Calistoga Inn. Everything was just lovely! Loved the food and drinks, the table layout, lighting and service. The whole planning process had been incredibly easy and effortless. We could not have made a better choice!

The Calistoga Inn Restaurant has one of the most popular outdoor dining venues in the Napa Valley, and is a true Wine Country institution. Our patio stretches along the Napa River and our award winning micro-brewery (Napa Valley Brewing Company) occupies the historic water tower. Our new indoor/outdoor bar is at the entrance to the patio, adjacent to our welcoming fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs.
Our Event Garden offers a beautiful setting with teak planked picnic tables and can be reserved for private events ranging in size from 18 to 120 guests for a seated event, and up to 150 guests for a reception-style event. It’s the perfect location for Wedding Rehearsal Dinners, Welcome Receptions, Wedding Receptions*, and Farewell Brunches. We also have a private indoor dining room and Pub that can be booked for your special occasion.
*While we are not equipped to host wedding ceremonies, we are ideally situated one block away from Pioneer Park, which can be rented for wedding ceremonies through the City of Calistoga.

My mother Rosie (of the famous Rosie's Café in Tahoe City) and I have owned and operated the Calistoga Inn since 1989. We're both active in the community where I served as the vice-mayor of Calistoga for sixteen years and Rosie served as a city council member for five years before me. We are dedicated to elevating the experience not just of locals, but for the many tourists who make their way to Napa Valley each year. For your event, you'll enjoy our hand-crafted beers, which are brewed onsite by the Napa Valley Brewing Company, as well as a full liquor bar and extensive wine list.
