Weddings by Shooting Stars

we were tired because he knew how important pictures are in a wedding. Sana was also very timely and organized in setting up our meetings and answering our emails. Overall, it was truly an amazing experience.

dian wedding were amazing. Every single member from the team was fun to be around and brought extra energy to the event! The Same Day Edit played at our reception was the best thing ever seen! We are so grateful to have our wedding week captured by them!

o many moments that we experienced in a blur of excitement, happiness, and emotions, and knowing that you were there to capture them means more to us than we can put into words. You didn’t just capture beautiful photos and videos — you captured the emotions, the little details, the laughter, the happy tears, and all the special moments that made our wedding day uniquely ours. Looking through our photos brings us right back to those moments, and that is something we will cherish forever. You helped us tell the story of our wedding in the most beautiful way and gave us memories that we’ll be able to relive for years and years to come. We are so grateful that we chose you to capture one of the most important days of our lives. Thank you for your talent, patience, professionalism, and for making us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day. We truly could not have asked for a better photographer!

n, and made the entire planning process feel collaborative and personal. That initial connection is what convinced us that WSS was the perfect fit for us. Our pre-wedding shoot was an amazing experience in itself. A special shout-out to Jess, who drove down for four hours to the exact location we had envisioned and spent the day getting to know us, making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. It never felt like a photoshoot, it felt like spending time with a friend who genuinely wanted to capture our story. The entire experience was thoughtfully customized around what mattered most to us. Our wedding day brought unexpected rain, but the WSS team never let it dampen the experience. Jess and Robin went above and beyond to make sure we still got beautiful photographs, adapting effortlessly while keeping us relaxed and focused on enjoying the day. They were there through every part of the celebration—from capturing quiet moments while we got ready with our families to joining us on the dance floor to document all the joy and energy of the evening. Every interaction with the team felt warm, professional, and genuinely caring. A heartfelt thank you to Sana for making us feel confident in choosing WSS from the very beginning, and to Jess for being such an incredible and fun partner throughout our journey. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to document the most important day of our lives. We would recommend WSS without hesitation to any couple looking for photographers who are not only exceptionally talented but also deeply invested in making your experience unforgettable.

engagement shoot as those pictures came out stunning. Having a two day wedding got tiring at times and Deepesh (owner) and his team made things fun and kept us going with humor throughout the weekend. They made sure to catch the intimate, thoughtful as well as silly moments. They take multiple pictures and make sure to capture all of the important people, not just close family. The final products of our photos and videos came out better than imagined. Some of our family/friends said they were the best they had ever seen. One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring WSS!

with our needs. It was easy to coordinate our pre-wedding shoot with our main photographer, Mandar. The shoot came out amazing and we got such great feedback from friends and family about those pictures. Mandar was also our photographer for our wedding weekend (doing the pre-wedding shoot with the same photographer helped him understand our style and we were comfortable working with him.) During such a demanding weekend schedule, he made the photoshoots easy. His skill in posing us allowed us to be fully in the moment and not worried about what we were doing in the photos. Our videographer, Kartik, also provided very helpful suggestions. Kartik did a great job capturing our ceremony and sangeet performances. Mandar and Kartik were very fun to be around. It was refreshing to work with them since they kept the mood light and made us laugh during each shoot. We would highly recommend WSS to anyone looking for high quality photography for their wedding!

ade us and our families feel really comfortable during all the events, which made a huge difference. Loved how the photos and videos turned out. They did a great job capturing both the big moments and all the smaller candid moments from the weekend. Everything felt very natural to us, and we’re so happy to have these memories captured so beautifully. Would definitely recommend them!

joyable experiences. He’s fun, easygoing, and has a way of making you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, so nothing ever felt awkward or forced. The energy he brought to every shoot & event made the whole process feel natural and enjoyable. We got married in Colorado and did a shoot at Garden of the Gods, and Deepesh absolutely nailed it. He found the coolest spots that we never would’ve discovered on our own and knew exactly how to use the scenery to make every shot look stunning. Those photos ended up being some of our favorite pictures from the entire weekend! The entire WSS team was incredible to work with. Everyone was so warm, helpful, and genuinely excited for us that by the end of the wedding weekend, they honestly felt like family. Even after the wedding, WSS has continued to be amazing — super responsive with edits and feedback on our videos, and always so easy to talk to. We still go back and look at our photos and videos all the time, and our friends and family constantly rave about the highlight film! ✨   We couldn’t recommend WSS enough!!!

pre-wedding photo shoot months before the wedding, and this helped us to build a nice relationship with them. During the wedding events themselves, we worked with Deepesh, Kani, Cap, and Prathik. They made the experience VERY fun and created a no-stress environment. They have a lot of innovative ideas for photos and videos. One moment that stuck out to me was when I was looking nervous at one of the early events. Kani caught my eye, smiled at me and motioned for me to take a deep breath and relax. That was a very special moment that helped me to enjoy the rest of the events! Each member of the team was extremely respectful and always asked permission before touching the clothing or placing us in a certain pose. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend WSS!

ve, and attentive — always quick to answer emails and accommodate any questions or requests we had. With just a few inspiration photos, they perfectly understood and captured the aesthetic and vision we had imagined for our wedding. Throughout each event, the team was punctual, flexible, and an absolute joy to work with. They made every photoshoot feel natural, fun, and effortless, which made the entire experience even more memorable. The same-day edit they created was truly exceptional and became one of the highlights of our reception. We are already so excited to see the final edits because, based on everything we’ve experienced so far, we know they will be incredible. A heartfelt thank you to Deepesh, Kenny and the entire team for capturing these moments so beautifully and giving us memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

ch made such a huge difference throughout all the events. Every preview picture they showed us looked absolutely gorgeous - the angles, creativity, and attention to detail were seriously impressive. They captured so many candid moments perfectly, and even our family kept talking about how much fun they had taking pictures with them. They brought such a great energy while still being professional and organized. We're so happy we chose them to capture our wedding memories and can't wait to see the rest of the photos and videos. Highly recommend!

us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured every moment so naturally and beautifully. Not only are they talented, but they’re also reliable and genuinely passionate about what they do. We couldn’t have asked for a better team and would highly recommend WSS to anyone looking for top-quality photography and videography.

on getting to know us as a couple so that he could capture our wedding day in a way that felt true to us. We love our photos and out videos that we have from our wedding day. Would absolutely recommend this company.

hey worked with our other vendors to make sure every part of the day flowed perfectly. They managed to keep us calm while capturing the real moments that made the day so special. Special shoutout to Deepesh for truly embracing our story and being there every step of the way. We really appreciated the time and effort he put into understanding our vision and it showed. And he personalized the team to match our vibe which helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, (big shoutout to Jess as well)!

gnificance of the day! Would recommend any day!

lti-day wedding. We truly felt like stars and the entire team made us feel so comfortable throughout the process. They always made sure that our voices were heard and catered to all of our wishes. They were more than just a photo/video team, they were always in our corner and went above and beyond to make our vision come true. From the initial meetings, to the actual events, and to post production, everyone has been an absolute delight to work with!!

s themselves were not excellent; group photos during the actual event were not framed or taken well. The team was not well coordinated, does not value customer service, and there are many better options available.

seamless and easy process. She was quick to answer emails or any questions and was always very friendly and kind in her responses. During our first few pre-wedding events working with Jess and Sajal was absolutely seamless. They were able to scout out the limited photo areas we had available and make it seem like we weren’t just in our parents' yard. They always hyped us up during our photos which helped build our confidence moving forward into the week and just overall made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They were absolutely phenomenal to work with. Moving on to the latter half of our wedding week, we had the pleasure of meeting Deepesh and the rest of the team, who we instantly felt comfortable with due to their warm personalities and professionalism. It truly felt as though every single member genuinely cared about getting the perfect shot and angle for us to remember our wedding week by. We never once felt overwhelmed by all the photos and videos being taken because the WSS team made it so fun, easy, and natural for us. We’ve since received some preview pictures and they’re unreal. The editing work is incredible and we’re so thankful to Deepesh and the rest of the team for bringing each moment to life. Their work is a testament to their craft as photographers and cinematographers and it was an honor to be able to witness you all in action doing your passion. If you’re looking for a team that goes above and beyond and are true experts at what they do, Weddings by Shooting Stars is the #1 choice. We highly recommend them for your wedding day/week needs!

ing the mood light, fun, and encouraging. He truly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and his energy made the whole experience so enjoyable. The entire team was professional, attentive, and captured our day beautifully. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend Shooting Stars to any couple!

le from start to finish. My husband and I are not the photoshoot kind of couples but Kani made us laugh at every moment. He made us feel so comfortable and every picture he took came out so beautiful to the point where I will need a frame for every single picture. Thank you Sana and Deepesh as well for the amazing communication! We cannot wait to see the finished products of our beautiful day. From, Kajal & Milin

engagement shoot, he took the time to understand our vision and style (we leaned more editorial), and he adapted to bring that to life. His entire team has a true gift for capturing authentic vulnerability, which was a priority to us. Deepesh finds the beauty and turns it into timeless art. He’s also incredibly creative and collaborative!! If you have ideas, he’s all in to make them a reality. On the wedding day, the teams' coordination was seamless, and we did not have to worry about a thing. He guided us with such ease and calm to make sure every shot felt organic. Even when we weren’t posing, he found the most beautiful, natural frames that told the story of our day! The photos/videos are stunning, natural, and full of feeling. We had so much fun looking through the photos to see the joy shared by our guests. The same-day video edit also blew everyone away- some of our friends booked him on the spot! We truly feel like we’ve gained lifelong friends from the Shooting Stars team. Highly, highly recommend! :)

eel so supported and truly took the time to understand our vision. The final photos and videos captured every emotion, every detail, and every moment so beautifully. What really stood out was how personal their approach was. They really individualized everything to reflect us as a couple. It made the whole experience feel so comfortable and natural. Even after our contract was finished, they went above and beyond by creating a custom video reel for us, simply because they knew we had wanted one. That reel has become something we watch all the time. It brings back all the joy and emotion of that beautiful day every time we see it. We’re incredibly grateful for their care, creativity, and professionalism. If you’re looking for a photography and videography team that will not only capture your day perfectly but also genuinely care about making it meaningful for you, we highly recommend Weddings by Shooting Stars.

all, these photos would be the memories we’d cherish forever. After exploring several options, we ultimately chose Weddings By Shooting Stars, and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. Our first encounter with their work was back in 2022, at a friend’s wedding in Arizona. I remember being blown away by the photos—each frame was full of life, detail, and emotion. From that moment on, I knew I wanted that same level of artistry for our own wedding. Fast forward to our wedding planning, we narrowed down our list and decided to reach out to Weddings By Shooting Stars. That’s when I had the pleasure of speaking with Deepesh. He was not only incredibly kind and accommodating but also extremely knowledgeable about South Indian weddings and traditions. His experience and calm guidance instantly put us at ease. From our initial call to the final days leading up to the wedding, Deepesh and his team were always available, flexible, and fully invested in making our vision come to life. During our four-day celebration, working with Deepesh and Ali was nothing short of spectacular. They brought creativity, energy, and a sense of adventure to every moment. One of the most unforgettable highlights was our photoshoot at Multnomah Falls. Even in freezing temperatures, they had us laughing and running across the bridge to capture the perfect drone shot—and it was so worth it. That moment ended up being one of the standout shots in our wedding teaser. If you’re searching for a photography team that captures more than just images—one that captures traditions, emotions, and the beauty of every little detail—Weddings By Shooting Stars is it. They brought our story to life in the most stunning way possible. I’d wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for passionate, professional, and truly exceptional wedding photographers. You won’t regret it. Thank You, Deepesh, Ali and WSS

d videographer in Texas to assist them in covering the celebrations. I was thrilled to have a creative call to discuss the style of photography and videography we wanted to capture on the big day. We had wanted something cinematic, like a movie, and the snippets the team shared with me after capturing moments surely measured up to that! Overall, the team was kind, patient, and helpful (especially with posing), and certainly matched our energy. The team also did a great job in understanding moments to capture as they specialize in south asian weddings. All in all, Weddings by Shooting Stars was such a joy to have as one of our vendors and I would highly recommend them for your big day or whatever celebration you wish to capture.

all the inspo pics we shared in advance and made sure to make our vision come to life. The team was so easy going and had such a creative eye for all the shots. Working with Weddings by Shooting Stars was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We really felt we were in good hands from start to end.

of our celebration, they went above and beyond to ensure our day was captured beautifully and seamlessly. The team was incredibly kind and professional, making us feel at ease the entire time. They were with us every step of the way—offering guidance, answering questions, and even providing previews of the photos so we could see how amazing they were turning out. It made the whole experience feel personal and special, knowing we were in such capable and caring hands. We had a Brahmin wedding, and the team was extremely accommodating and experienced in all types of weddings. They understood the traditions, rituals, and significance of each moment, ensuring that everything was captured with the utmost respect and attention to detail. Additionally, they did an amazing job with our pre-wedding shots, perfectly capturing the essence of our love and excitement leading up to the big day. The photographers are not only skilled but also truly wonderful to work with. They knew exactly how to capture the big moments as well as the little details, and they did it all with a smile, ensuring we felt comfortable and relaxed the entire day. We felt completely at ease, and it was as if we were just hanging out with friends while they captured the most magical moments of our lives. The quality of the photos was outstanding. Each image was a work of art that perfectly told the story of our day, and we are beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. If you're looking for a wedding photographer who will treat you like family, be there for you every step of the way, and deliver breathtaking photos, look no further than *Weddings By Shooting Stars*. We can't recommend them enough! Thank you again for making our wedding day unforgettable! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

uld have easily missed: Weddings by Shooting Stars. We almost passed them by because their website only featured South Asian weddings and neither my fiancé nor I are South Asian. But there was something about the photos on their website that we really fell in love with. So vibrant, so beautiful, and so full of life! So we reached out to them, not sure if they even did weddings for non-South Asian couples - let alone gay couples - but Deepesh and Sana could not have been kinder or more enthusiastic. “Yes! Of course! Let’s set up a time to talk by phone so you can tell us your story. We love a good love story! We also want to make sure we choose the right photographer from our staff. Someone who will be perfect for you guys. We want to understand who you guys are. We want to capture your story not just your pictures.” They were great every step of the way. And they did, indeed, choose a terrific photographer for us. His name was Mandar and he was amazing. Kind, thoughtful, creative, easy to work with and the perfect balance of presence and unobtrusiveness. He made great suggestions, never interrupted the flow of events, and was very in tune with us and intuitive throughout the entire day. Something no one ever tells you about your wedding day is that the person you will spend the most time with, apart from your spouse, is the photographer! They are there every step of the way. So you really want to be sure they are a positive presence. Mandar was definitely that! We were very lucky to have had such a beautiful wedding filled with amazing memories. Thanks to Deepesh, Sana, Mandar, and the team at Weddings by Shooting Stars we will be able to enjoy those memories for many years to come! Thanks guys! Paul and Johnny

attention to detail, and passion for capturing every special moment were evident. An Indian wedding has so many vibrant, emotional, and culturally significant moments throughout the day, and the WSS team captured every single one with such finesse. The colors, the smiles, the traditions—they captured the essence of our celebration perfectly. All our guests came up to us constantly complimenting how amazing and fun the WSS team was. Every moment was captured beautifully. We are beyond grateful to have had WSS as a part of our special day. If you’re looking for photographers who will go above and beyond to make your wedding photos as magical as your memories, look no further! Highly recommend them to anyone planning an Indian wedding or any celebration!

’s professionalism and creativity were evident in every photo and video they captured. They have strong experience working with desi weddings and coordinating across all the events and logistics to ensure they capture critical moments with perfect detail. We were extremely impressed with the final products we received. If you're looking for a top-notch photographer and videographer who will make your memories unforgettable, we highly recommend Deepesh and Shooting Stars.

our decision of picking them for our wedding. All the photos and videos were outstanding. Deepesh and his team were able to capture all our special moments during all three of our wedding events and most importantly got many pictures of family and friends which was nice to see after the wedding! We have received many compliments on our photos and all our videos. One of our favorite videos from Deepesh and his team is our highlight video! The editing was flawless and captured all our important moments and blended in our vows, and our loved ones speeches. Weddings By Shooting Stars is also very flexible. I live in California and was very stressed on how I could make the pre-wedding shoot happen. But Deepesh without any hesitation said we can do it a few days after the wedding to better accommodate my schedule. This was such a nice gesture from a wedding vendor especially during a very stressful time of wedding planning. Deepesh and his team are outstanding! They really GO ABOVE AND BEYOND to make you happy. My husband and I loved working with Weddings By Shooting Stars, and we are looking forward to hire them again soon for our future events! 100 % RECOMMEND!

oice we made, and our absolute favorite vendor. || We came across Deepesh’s profile on Instagram, and there wasn’t much left to discuss for our photo video team choice. His portfolio is filled with sweet, spontaneous, candid, authentic photos. He has a magical way of showing the true emotion and love behind every moment, which was exactly what we were looking for. When we spoke with him for our initial pre-wedding photoshoot, we instantly became friends. Over the next year of wedding planning, he connected with us, took the effort to learn about us as people and what we care about, and helped us feel comfortable around him, which was more important than we even realized. This comfort allowed us to be our true selves in front of the camera during our wedding week, and the genuine smiles, laughter, and love is clear in our photos and videos. || For our pre-wedding functions, Sehrish and Ali from his team shared the same approach. They made our families feel comfortable and created memories of our events so beautifully. Our favorite part was when they conducted documentary-style interviews of our parents and siblings during our mehendi function - the raw emotion and feelings of the moment that they captured in those videos will forever be precious to us. || During our wedding weekend, the way Deepesh and the amazing team captured critical moments, from angles we didn’t even know were happening, is truly magical. They helped fill in the story of our events when we weren’t present. Our friends sharing laughs, our parents greeting guests, our siblings running around getting things done - we’re now able to relive those moments over and over again. || The photographs of my wife and I, at every event, bring us back to that weekend every time we look at them. We love the way he captured every emotion that we felt during our first look, the shimmering, royal feeling we had during our sangeet, the bright, happy smiles during our wedding morning, and the relieved, relaxed, and enamored look of the reception. || The same-day edit, wedding highlight, and documentary films came together in a way we couldn’t have even imagined. Deepesh and team pulled together a beautiful story that weaved together all of our events, our personalities, and our emotions along with our family and close friends. They truly made us feel like the stars of our own little movie and we will forever cherish our videos. || In 5, 10, 15 years from now our parents, friends, and family won’t remember our food choices, our music, or our dancing. But these pictures cycle through every day on their walls, forever capturing one of the happiest days of our lives, thanks to Deepesh and his wonderful team at Shooting Stars. We're walking away with a lifetime of memories, and a wonderful friendship to top it all off. Thank you for EVERYTHING - we love you guys!!!!

UST at any event. I added some photos for reference. The team takes their time to find the perfect shot

oking at the photos and videos even months after the wedding. 5 stars!

that worked with us (Mandar, Ali, Robin, Jess, Sana) were so pleasant, fun (but also professional) and the end result of videos and photos captured all of the important moments, people, and our vibe. Firstly, in the hecticness of a typical Indian wedding weekend, the chance to get away and take photos/videos for 30 min before the start of each event was peaceful, intimate, and personally one of my favorite parts of my wedding. Secondly, Deepesh really takes care and consideration to go above and beyond. Since he knows most of the popular vendors well (like our DJ and planner), they are able to coordinate and achieve things without putting stress on the couple. One example was the DJ was providing a video wall at our reception, and literally the week of, me, the DJ and Deepesh got on a text group to figure out how we could wirelessly transmit the speeches, performances, etc so we could maximize use of the wall (Deepesh needed to buy an extra part to do this, and he ordered it right away). It just warmed my heart to see them really think of this as if it was their own event or that of a family member.

detail. The entire team gave clear direction and was so easy to work with. We are so happy we had the opportunity to work with them during our special day. Everything was delivered in a timely manner.

we wanted out of our photographs, but also us as a couple to best capture our attributes and personalities. The photos he took are absolutely stunning!!

ou’ve known them your whole lives. This was especially great since we could easily let our guards down during photoshoots. It would be remiss to not mention what a downright fabulous job Deepesh and his team did with our wedding highlight video. Our wedding was an especially emotional one and Deepesh captured all of those emotions and tributes to family members who are no longer here with us today so beautifully, elegantly, and respectfully - all without any direction from us. We were in tears upon first viewing of our video - it was nothing short of perfect. Him and his team have incredibly high EQ and were able to translate nuanced emotions and the things that were important to us so well in our highlight video. Lastly, we have recommended Deepesh and his team to all of our friends and family and now look forward to those weddings because it feels as if we’ve been reunited with old friends when we see them - their team is truly the best. Thank you so much Deepesh and the team at Weddings by Shooting Stars!

comfortable even though if we were all were strangers at first. I would highly recommend Weddings by Shooting Stars for all of your events including photoshoots. These star shooters don’t just shoot the stars, but go above and beyond. We love the passion that they bring to their work of photography.

eye for magic! This team was professional, friendly, and extremely attentive to every detail throughout the each event from engagement shoot to bridal shower to wedding and reception and everything in between. Their ability to capture the most precious moments was truly remarkable, and they ensured that every photograph was nothing short of stunning. From the candid shots of our family and friends to the intricate details of our 7-part 2 semi-traditional Telugu wedding ceremony, Weddings by Shooting Star captured it all with perfection. They were able to capture every emotion, every laugh, and every tear in the most beautiful way possible. Their photographs truly captured the essence of our wedding day, and we couldn't be happier with the final result. They even uploaded the photos on a separate hard drive, organized by event, which made finding specific photos through the online portal or our drive much easier. We highly recommend Deepesh & Weddings by Shooting Stars to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding photography experience.

. Not only did he drive over 100 miles to our location to capture the special moment, but he also collaborated with us in detail to ensure that none of the magic was lost in our photos. The photoshoot results were simply stunning. The photos captured the beauty of the moment, and the way Deepesh was able to incorporate lighting, backgrounds, and props into his shots was truly amazing. The photos not only came out perfect, but they also captured the magic of the moment, the essence of our relationship, and the love that we have for each other. One of the things that impressed me the most about Deepesh was his professionalism and attention to detail. He arrived early to the location to scout out the best spots and get a feel for the lighting, and he was able to adjust his plans on the fly to accommodate any changes. He also took the time to get to know us and understand what we were looking for in our photos. The final products were simply breathtaking. The images were not only stunning, but they also told a story. They captured the love, excitement, and anticipation that we were feeling as we embark on this new journey together. Deepesh has a unique ability to bring out the best in people and create memories that will last a lifetime. If you're looking for a photographer who will go the extra mile to give you the photoshoot of your dreams, look no further! He is truly talented, professional, and an absolute joy to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who truly cares about their clients and their work. Thank you, Deepesh, for giving us the gift of these beautiful memories that we will cherish forever.

d everything to make us feel comfortable, and was truly such a pleasure to work with. The whole team was incredible and brought such positive vibes and energy. We got so many compliments during/after our wedding of how awesome they were. You can tell Deepesh really cares about what he does and it shows. Our photos and videos turned out absolutely amazing, I can't even put into words how pleased we are. Everyone who has seen the photos/video is in absolute awe. Thank you Deepesh & team for capturing our magical day!!!

mended!

know the angles, the light and most importantly the right background. They gave us some beautiful memories. Thank you!
