Deepesh and the entire Shooting Stars team was the best choice we made, and our absolute favorite vendor. || We came across Deepesh’s profile on Instagram, and there wasn’t much left to discuss for our photo video team choice. His portfolio is filled with sweet, spontaneous, candid, authentic photos. He has a magical way of showing the true emotion and love behind every moment, which was exactly what we were looking for. When we spoke with him for our initial pre-wedding photoshoot, we instantly became friends. Over the next year of wedding planning, he connected with us, took the effort to learn about us as people and what we care about, and helped us feel comfortable around him, which was more important than we even realized. This comfort allowed us to be our true selves in front of the camera during our wedding week, and the genuine smiles, laughter, and love is clear in our photos and videos. || For our pre-wedding functions, Sehrish and Ali from his team shared the same approach. They made our families feel comfortable and created memories of our events so beautifully. Our favorite part was when they conducted documentary-style interviews of our parents and siblings during our mehendi function - the raw emotion and feelings of the moment that they captured in those videos will forever be precious to us. || During our wedding weekend, the way Deepesh and the amazing team captured critical moments, from angles we didn’t even know were happening, is truly magical. On our very first call, Deepesh promised to “tell our story”, which put the concept of having a wedding photographer/videographer in a whole different mindset for me. The WSS team that worked with us (Mandar, Ali, Robin, Jess, Sana) were so pleasant, fun (but also professional) and the end result of videos and photos captured all of the important moments, people, and our vibe. Firstly, in the hecticness of a typical Indian wedding weekend, the chance to get away and take photos/videos for 30 min before the start of each event was peaceful, intimate, and personally one of my favorite parts of my wedding. Secondly, Deepesh really takes care and consideration to go above and beyond. Since he knows most of the popular vendors well (like our DJ and planner), they are able to coordinate and achieve things without putting stress on the couple. One example was the DJ was providing a video wall at our reception, and literally the week of, me, the DJ and Deepesh got on a text group to figure out how we could wirelessly transmit the speeches, performances, etc so we could maximize use of the wall (Deepesh needed to buy an extra part to do this, and he ordered it right away). It just warmed my heart to see them really think of this as if it was their own event or that of a family member.

Recommend this team in a heartbeat. All pictures and videos were absolutely STUNNING! We loved every single one. Deepesh is so talented - incredible work and on point attention to detail. Deepesh and the Wedding by Shooting Stars team did the photography and videography for our wedding and Deepesh also did our pre-wedding shoot. I can not recommend him enough. I can't tell you enough how thrilled my husband and I are with the work that Deepesh and his team have done for our wedding. From capturing the most intimate of moments with sensitivity to beautifying and editing the best photos for us all the way to capturing all of our family and friends with such care, they are genuinely the best photo/video artists we have found in the United States. They were flexible with timings, were reasonable in fees, and brought out so much of our personalities to their captures of our events. We got our pre wedding photoshoot with Deepesh. He is very easy to work with. He understands your requirements and adjusts as per it. A huge plus for us was he also helped us with expressions. We are not very comfortable with camera, Deepesh helped us a lot in that aspect.

I highly recommend Weddings by Shooting Stars for your wedding photographs and videos! They exceeded all our expectations and we can't stop looking at the videos and photographs. We had Deepesh as our photographer and Aejaz (Captain) as our videographer for our Indian wedding ceremony in NJ! They were wonderful to work with and are extremely talented. We had heavy rains on our wedding day but they still managed to click and shoot our first look and portraits and make use of the limited time and indoor space we had! I was particularly impressed that they captured all our important moments with perfection. The editing team (Renu for video editing and Microart for photo editing) did a fantastic job. The photos and videos are so dreamy and something we will cherish for life! A bonus: Given how hard they work and how wonderful their service and products are their prices are very reasonable in comparison!

From our first interaction at one of the BRIDAL Expo in Edison, NJ, I was pleasantly surprised at how personable and genuine the conversation went - this was ~ 6 months ago now, and it still left an impression. Deepesh made it very clear that this is not just a business, but something he is truly passionate about. We had some changes for our wedding due to covid-19 restrictions, but Deepesh and the team were beyond professional and courteous. They made the transition easy and seamless and worked very well with us to accommodate to an entirely new plan. The team was pleasant, beyond friendly and made all of us very comfortable on our BIG day. We honestly cannot say enough wonderful things. Our pictures and our wedding documentary came out beautifully and we are so happy that the team was able to capture every moment. There are wedding photographers and then there is Wedding by shooting stars. So blessed to have had the presence of Weddings by Shooting Stars capture my memorable moments with my soulmate and family. Glad that we wished upon you guys! Last year in the midst of a pandemic with all the stress of trying to stay safe, we had to change all of our wedding plans to Aug 2020 (still during uncertain times), I was so lucky that Deepesh/Wedding by Shooting Stars was very accommodating. Deepesh was very patient and wonderful in being available to discuss options and changes. We knew Wedding by Shooting Stars was for us because Deepesh and his team capture raw emotion and happiness in their photographs. Everyone is different, some people want posed photos and some want natural. Deepesh is great in giving couples their desired dream photos, as he discusses everything in detail with you well in advance. During out first conversation, he sounded so familiar like an old friend. He suggested a winter/snow photoshoot, we knew that was what we had to do it because my husband and I love being outdoors. He was amazing and hilarious during that photo session, getting down and rolling in the snow, to get the perfect shot. He worked with our personalities to get the perfect photos. He and his colleague got great natural photos that we will cherish. Every snowfall reminds us of that day. On our wedding day, it was crazy hectic as it was still amidst a pandemic, but Deepesh and his team was early and ready to go. They went with the flow and Deepesh is very patient and understanding. He captured every tear of happiness that was shed and every laugh that my husband and I shared. I always thought crying isn’t captured well in photos, but Deepesh has taken terrific organic photographs that I love those pictures a bit more and now know I am a beautiful cryer….lol. Deepesh and his Wedding by Shooting Stars team is extremely efficient, we received our photographs and videos a lot sooner than expected. He is very knowledgeable and suggested the perfect song for our video based on the vibe and atmosphere that was create during my wedding. It’s like he knows what you want before you say it. Our 2018 wedding in Sri Lanka was beautiful. Deepesh and his Shooting Stars team jumped on a plane and made sure we'll alway remember it!! So good to have the content especially to watch it during lockdown. The one point my wife might say is that we asked for edits to the full video (not the trailer) 1.5 years after the event, and Deepesh and team were still able to oblige. So, thank you team!
