Hannah makes you feel like a celebrity model while also keeping you relaxed as if your best friend was just snapping a quick picture. Hannah gives 110% and it is evident she cares deeply for her clients and has a deep respect for the craft and artistry of photography. We will ABSOLUTELY be calling her for future family pictures!!

I find my Biance alter-ego behind the lens at weddings because I know that I'm doing exactly what I'm called to do. I love the reaction on the couples' faces when I reveal the back of my camera, and I love hearing the words "You captured our day perfectly!! Est. in 2010, I have my own wedding magazine and love posing couples so they look like how they feel!

decided to continue with Hannah Charis - it was the best decision that we made and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for photography services! From the first meeting with her at her sweet professional home studio, we were impressed with her work and her interactions with us. She was very organized and thorough - even providing us with her own professional magazine to take home explaining all the details we needed to alleviate any nerves that we had during the entire process. We scheduled an engagement session with her as well and she guided us through location suggestions and best times to be able to capture our best shots. We were initially nervous and worried for our session since we hadn't had any experience in photo sessions, posing, or making sure that we didn't look awkward or blink too many times during snapshots. During the session, Hannah made it very seamless, fun, and stress-free. She was extremely patient and clearly guided us with how to pose, where to place our hands/feet, and what areas would be best. She even brought a pop-up tent for our outfit change space since she knew there would not be a restroom nearby to change - these are things that we wouldn't even have considered. Hannah was conscious within the time allocated and made sure all the shots we wanted were captured. We received our photos within the promised time, if not much earlier than we had expected. We were truly amazed at all the pictures and couldn't wait to see what she could do for our wedding day!
Fast forward to wedding day - her assistant was also very helpful as well, making sure to capture all the shots from all angles and areas. Hannah was able to capture the getting ready shots with the dress, veil, and accessories, and even our family first looks, given the limited time that we had. She was very patient and calm throughout the entire day and that definitely helped lots. She and her assistant were efficient and fast movers but did not make us feel rushed. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, entertainment, and reception were all captured beautifully. We appreciated how we were provided a sneak preview slideshow in the middle of our reception with some of the pictures that we took during the day! After seeing these, we were even more anxious and excited to see all of our pictures. We knew they would turn out great! We absolutely loved our photo dash to every table and Hannah did wonderful capturing all the speedy movements - we highly recommend couples to do this as a fun activity to be able to capture all the guests. Our wedding day was perfect and we owe it all to our planner and Hannah's photography team.
Hannah gave us the best 1-month anniversary present - all of our photos were ready earlier than we expected! It was the absolute BEST and till this day we have continuously been looking back at all of our photos and reliving every moment of that day! Thanks again, Hannah! If you are looking for a photographer, we highly recommend you to invest in her, you won't be disappointed!

I also did bridal portraits with her and by the time our wedding day came, we felt like experts and felt so comfortable working with her. She even gave us a sneak peek slideshow while we were eating dinner and it was so nice to have a couple of photos to show our family and friends immediately after the wedding. Hannah and Daniel captured every moment and I cannot wait to relive our wedding day through the photos!

Hannah Charis Photography! To call Hannah’s portraits “magical” is a complete understatement. I still get emotional looking at all the small moments she captured. Daniel was also super helpful and they both worked so well to get all the details of our wedding! Hannah made our shoots starting from the engagement shoot so comfortable and she was so fun and easy to work with. We had so much fun and loved working with her!! SHE WILL MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD, YALL. She knows how to make us do the right poses so we don’t look awkward! not to mention our families were so impressed by how she remembered everyone’s names and was completely organized when we took photos at the wedding. BTW the book she gives you, is the most helpful thing you will need as you plan for what you want at your wedding!!! She explains everything step by step so you won’t get confused. and I are not typically good in front of the camera but the photos turned out amazing! Hannah is excellent at giving directions on posing which was so helpful. She truly went above and beyond, she showed up early, stayed late, and had a huge smile throughout the whole (very long and very cold) day. During dinner, Hannah already had some photos edited and ready to show us! It was so nice having some sneak peeks on the same day! We cannot recommend Hannah enough, she is an absolute pleasure to work with!

of my questions and was very easy going. My now husband and I have never taken professional pics and we were very nervous during our engagement shoot but she coached us through all of the poses and knew exactly where to place us to make our pics look incredible. Her second shooter, Daniel, was also such a joy to work with! We had a rowdy bunch that was probably a pain to work with but Hannah and Daniel did such an amazing job keeping us on schedule and notifying us when it was time for the next event. I am still blown away that she was able to setup her tablet with sneak peaks for us to look at WHILE WE WERE EATING DINNER AT THE WEDDING! Unbelievable! Can’t recommend this amazing lady enough!

I Immediately contacted her and she remember everything about me. We set up a meeting and just sitting there with her was like talking to one of my homegirls. She definitely gave us a wonder experience by giving all the details of weddings, session and pricing. Also, some background on her and how she started. What’s her favorite and how she communicates with her clients. Beside our wonder meeting we left with a book of her own. This book Is AMAZING. It gives much needed detail on times, colors, and etc. I read the book twice. She is so professional, organization and patience. Her communicate was the best even through e-mail she got back to you as soon as possible. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to take the photos and was all over the place but, Hannah provide us with a list of different places. That was really helpful because we sent her plenty of different picture from Pinterest we loved and wanted to mock. Even when we had the Ice storm she even sent me a text because she hadn’t responded to my e-mail. Just hours before the session I text her asking about our outfit and got a reply immediately. The day of our engagement session I was running late because my hairstyle didn’t show in time and I had to do me on hair. Hannah was very patience with us and ensure me not to stress I looked beautiful and it was time to have fun. And we had the best time of our life and we were comfortable being ourselves it felt as if we were talking the pictures at home. She didn’t not rush the session even though we were late and got every posses we asked for and more. When I say me and my fiancé loved Hannah I mean we loved her she’s so FREAKY AMAZING and Wonderful!!! I can’t wait until my bridal and wedding session I’m super excited. I would definitely recommend her to all my family, friend and strangers but, she had us as a client for life. The next day after our engagement session she sent us seek peeks and they are Fantastic I can’t wait to get the rest of them. If I you’re getting married in San Antonio you should 100% have Hannah as my wedding photographer! You won’t regret it and would adore the loving the results.

munication prior to the photo session via text or email. I spoke with her on the phone and it was like talking to an old friend! She was able to give me suggestions and tips regarding outfits for our engagement session so that we would have the perfect style of photos. Since I did not have any particular location in mind for our engagement session, Hannah was super helpful in giving us a vast list of locations for our photoshoot. I am so glad she was already familiar with gorgeous locations in San Antonio and surrounding areas for photoshoots, which made the process less stressful! On the day of our photoshoot when we met up with Hannah, she was incredible at directing my fiancé and I for the variety of poses in her repertoire. She made us instantly feel so comfortable in front of the camera, I couldn’t help but smile the whole time since she was so fun to work with! I absolutely loved her warm, inviting and fun personality! About 2 weeks after our photoshoot, we received our GORGEOUS high-quality photos!! I am in love with all of the photos! She ensured that all of our photos were accessible and easy to download. I would 1,000% recommend her to anyone in need of professional photos done, as you will not regret it and you will LOVE the final result! If I was getting married in San Antonio as well I would 100% have Hannah as my wedding photographer!

de us look like professional models. EVERYONE was in love with our pictures! For our engagement photos, she provided help as far as what to wear, what looks good, and how to coordinate our outfits. I hate shopping and I have no idea what to wear for photos so this was a HUGE help! She also directed us on exactly how to stand, position ourselves and look completely natural so that ALL of our photos turned out amazing! Our pictures seriously looked so great and super natural!
My whole bridal party was obsessed with her photos and so many people at our wedding asked how I found our photographer because they were so impressed with her work! I HIGHLY recommend hiring Hannah, she is incredibly talented at what she does, she is SUPER fast and is so sweet and kind(she even sent us a gift for our wedding)!
She goes above and beyond and she truly cares about providing high quality photos that we will look at over and over. She was a Godsend!!

oshoots were “Okay” but nothing ever stood out. I wanted “Instagram Perfect” photos, but I didn’t know how to get them. One evening, I was scrolling through Facebook and I read a very detailed review for Hannah Charis Photography. Amongst other things, the review stated that Hannah provides clear/fool-proof direction and outfit suggestions!! SOLD!! Upon booking an appointment, I received a thorough and lengthy PDF on outfit suggestions, makeup, hair. She even provided suggested locations WITH sample photos of those locations!! She took all of the guess work out and I have never had that before. A couple of days before our session, she reassured me that everything was going to be perfect and to not stress about it. Deep down I was still extremely stressed because I had been let down in the past and I wanted “wall gallery” quality photos.
When I arrived to the location, Hannah was already there and prepared. Even though this was our first time meeting, I felt like we clicked right away and she understood my vision. I didn’t have to wait for her at all. We started right away to make sure we got as many photos as we could. She was so creative and thoughtful with EVERY pose. Her communication was clear, precise, and to the point. My significant other felt confident in her leading him through this process and I promise you he was not initially looking forward to taking photos. The photoshoot couldn’t have gone better and it surpassed ALL of my expectations.
I took pictures on Friday evening. My photos were done, edited, and sent over by Monday morning at 8:00AM. She also photographed a wedding during that weekend, so I was shocked when I received my pictures so quickly! When I looked at my photos for the first time, I cried. I’m an Army Veteran; I don’t cry for anything! I received WAY more photos than what I paid for. I could not have been more thrilled with the whole process. EVERYTHING was easy; not many people can say that about a photoshoot. No one else will take my photos. We pay photographers to capture our most precious memories/moments. Don’t make the mistake of hiring anyone else but Hannah! You will not be disappointed!

capturing candid moments was exactly what we were looking for. We will treasure them, and my whole family and friends loved them. The best part about Hannah is that she makes everyone comfortable, she listens,and captures every moment. Our kids love her! She is just super sweet and fun to be around with. She is so easy to work with and she will deliver images the day of! Including your story. If you have any questions, she immediately responds write away. Which really shows that she cares about you and your special day. In the end we are very pleased and just got everything we asked for. Plus two of our friends are having her do their wedding next year . So she is totally worth it!

Hannah gives good directions and suggestions for posing to help us look our best without looking too posed! My husband hates taking pictures but he even mentioned how great she was and he really enjoyed it! She makes the sessions fun and relaxed. I couldn’t believe how beautiful the photos came out. I think the hardest thing to do was to narrow it down to just a few to put on a canvas for my house! The work she does is absolutely beautiful and people make comments to me on how great the pictures came out. I am already excited to hire her for our vow renewal.

Hannah also provided us with this amazing catalog about how to’s, things to think about, what to wear, location and timing that helped guide me through this daunting process!! Our pictures turned out fantastic! I highly recommend using Hannah for any of your wedding!!
