First of Apryl Photography

ments that felt authentic and not cheesy or overly-posed. She brought an upbeat, friendly, and genuinely lovely presence to our day. She made us and our guests feel at ease, and I had many people come up to me to say how wonderful she was. The next-day preview was a delightful addition to Apryl's services. Being able to look at some of Apryl's gorgeous work the morning after our wedding was a huge treat. Overall, she did an amazing job. I would recommend her services wholeheartedly!

to her editorial style while taking the photos and after having a discussion about wanting very candid photos, everything was unposed from there on out. I was worried about how the photos would turn out. As many people that you talk to about their one regret about their wedding it usually falls on the photos' outcome. Our whole family and us included were amazed by just the highlights sent over to us. I cannot tell you how much stress has fallen off our shoulders that we now have such beautiful and sentimental moments to look back on. She has outstanding professionalism, her creativity, and eye for a good photo opportunity do not go unnoticed. We are very grateful for how receptive she was to our wishes and she has given us this blessing that we can now look back on gorgeous, high-quality photos of the best day of our lives. Thank you so much Apryl.

had hoped for a better and agreeable outcome with her, but that was clearly not what she was interested in. Your photo and video is supposed to bring back happy and beautiful moments of your wedding, but through our terrible experience with Apryl, she has now left such an awful taste when we think of working with her and the product she provided us with. We found her to be untrustworthy, unreliable, and unfortunately an amateur producer when it came to the video highlight reel she gave us. Through this experience she caused my wife and I so much anxiety and discontent that was still ultimately left unresolved. We hired her as a still+video photographer for our wedding in April 2022. After the wedding, she was repeatedly late to meeting delivery deadlines of the photos and wedding video. Even though we reached out to her on multiple occasions, it would take her weeks to respond even after three attempts to contact her after multiple missed deadlines she herself had set. During one point she had unforeseen personal circumstances, so we of course were patient through that, but a few weeks turned into a few months turned into 8 months before we finally received all the material we paid for. Throughout this time, she continuously set new deadlines that she, again, did not meet. When we finally received the photos, we were unhappy with the quality but since that's subjective, I won't dwell on it. What I do want to highlight to warn other couples, is that the wedding reel she sent was clearly poorly made. She had months and months to work on it and it seemed as if it was done carelessly and rushed through. The sound and video clips did not match up with each other, sounds could not even be heard it parts, the reel was filled with sporadic cuts from different moments of the wedding without any clear direction or thought being put into it. Many of the key shots, like the actual ceremony, were shot from bad angles where our faces were hidden. The video was also 25% shorter than we agreed upon, and it took Apryl months to address our edits (This was already 6 months after the wedding day, when the contract we signed said it would be delivered within 12 weeks). The new video she sent still had amateur issues like random dark screens, an error message halfway through (screenshots attached), and issues with the sound/video not matching. We tried to reconcile these issues, but she refused so we asked her to get the raw footage so we can pay someone else to fix all of her mistakes. She wanted $500 and wouldn't waive it despite all of our flexibility in the 8 months it took her to send us the material and the unprofessional video she provided. Something I do not believe she should advertise services AT ALL for. We feel so frustrated to be treated in this way especially when we felt we had built trust and a good relationship with her, clearly that was all a show. We feel an extreme sense of urgency to post this review so other couples do not get dragged through this same experience with her. Please save your time and money. WE URGE ALL COUPLES NOT TO BOOK HER!!

Apryl. From first contact Apryl was nothing but a ray of sunshine. So positive, excited, and helpful. Going over pricing/packages, sending me example weddings, discussing the plans. I booked Apryl nearly 2 years in advance (during which she relocated), so when time grew nearer I sent Apryl my Pinterest in which I had saved ideas for posed and candid pictures. I thought it would maybe just Apryl an idea of what I was looking for, on the day she had remembered so many of the poses that I had blatantly forgotten. She even pulled out her phone and showed me my Pinterest. It's minor details like this on the wedding day that help. My brain was on major overload, so something like 1 posed photo I would never have remembered. Anyway Apryl was so good with it, and I even requested for props to be used and she was totally fine with it, even giving her own ideas. I haven't received my full pictures yet, I am excited (can take up to 9 weeks) but from the preview I did get I am excited.
