I cannot say enough positive things about Sydalyn Hill and Gwyn and Johnathan. My husband and I feel so incredibly fortunate to have gotten married there and our guests raved all day (and even after the wedding) about the beautiful views, perfect weather, and gorgeous chandeliers hanging from the branches of the black walnut trees. In addition to the site itself being absolutely perfect for our day, Gwyn is the best thing you could ever wish for on your wedding day. We were very fortunate not to have any major mishaps but Gwyn is such a pro I was not aware of a single detail gone awry on our wedding day because she just handled it. She worked with us leading up to the wedding, coordinating rentals and helping our vision come to life as well as meeting with us periodically to make sure we were staying on track and as ready as possible. Our other vendors were blown away at how organized and on top of everything Gwyn was. A million thanks to Gwyn and the whole crew for helping us achieve the most amazing, stress-free, gorgeous, and utterly unforgettable day.

Our wedding was in September 2022 at Sydalyn Hill and we literally can not stop smiling and telling everyone how beyond perfect our experience was! From the moment we reached out (back in early 2021) and toured, the Weisberg family has been the kindest, most organized, supportive, and wonderful family to work with. We were absolutely blown away by the thoughtfulness and true passion to support us in planning the wedding day of our dreams. Gwyn, had been in contact with us the entire time and was our wedding planner as well as day of coordinator. We had never heard of a venue being so invested in supporting the couple through literally the ENTIRE process and we were beyond grateful to have found a family run venue that truly pours their heart into this work. We were able to borrow a ton of decorations from them, Gwyn helped us turn our ideas into a reality, and they even helped us pull off and staff a boba bar on our wedding day! So many of our guests said this was the most beautiful venue and most supportive staff they have ever experienced at a wedding and this is completely possible because of the kind hearts of this family. Gwyn is so organized that it really helped us stay on track for the year and a half of planning we did and we were able to go see the venue often, she went with us to pick out our rentals, and was available on email and video chatting to answer our questions all the time. The entire family also helped us feel so at ease on our wedding day. We felt like we were floating around in pure bliss every second of the day and they made sure we could be fully present and take in everything. Do not hesitate if you are considering this venue! There are only limited slots per year and its an absolute dream to be one of those special couples who get to get married here! We are already planning on going back through their vacation rental service for our one year anniversary! We could go on forever in this review we are so happy with everything! Thank you to Sydalyn Hill for making the best day of our lives more perfect than we could have dreamed of! We have made new forever friends with the Weisberg family and will remember this day forever!

My son got married at Sydalyn Hill in August. It was magical! The property is stunningly gorgeous to start with…and then once the tables, flowers, dance floor and caterers were set up it was like a Hollywood set! Gwyn and Jonathon and their crew were amazing from the first tour to the rehearsal to the day of! They were professional , calm and fun. They made us feel very special from start to finish. My son and his wife are still on cloud 9!

Where do we even begin?! Our dream wedding was held at Sydalyn Hill this July. After our initial site visit, we knew we wanted to get married here. The breathtaking views, amazing space, and wonderful owners made our decision easy. Gwyn and Jonathan truly went above and beyond to make our day so special. Gwyn was our day of coordinator and graciously checked in with us throughout the planning stages to make sure everything was on track. She provided great suggestions and was super responsive and organized. The whole weekend, Gwyn, Jonathan, and the staff were rockstars. They helped us with preparation, set up, tear down, kept us + our vendors on schedule, and more, all with smiles on their faces. I was brought to tears when I saw everything pulled together during the wedding. We loved how much space the venue had for our guests to do different activities such as play lawn games, sit by the fire, explore the grounds, or dance the night away under the chandeliers. Our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the property and the staff. We also highly recommend staying the weekend at the house on the property. We loved that we were able to have our rehearsal dinner at the venue on Friday night and soak in some extra time sharing stories of the wedding on Sunday morning. The house is also stunning and welcoming! Gwyn & Jonathan, we can't thank you enough for everything you did to make our wedding weekend so special. For all the future couples, we highly recommend checking out this venue. It was the best decision we made!

We had an absolutely incredible wedding! We fell in love with the venue and grounds when we did a site visit. The views of the Santa Cruz mountains and the walnut trees with chandeliers hanging above the dance floor make for stunning pictures, and the house was a perfect play to get ready and spend the night. The owners were super friendly, organized, and truly experts at what they do. They were very helpful in the process of planning our wedding. We tend to be indecisive, and Gwyn was very helpful in checking in with us, offering lots of planning ideas, and helping us create a vision for our perfect wedding. They had lots of decorative donations from previous couples that we were able to use for free like parasols, chalkboards, dessert trays etc and this helped with our budget. Perhaps the most valuable part of the wedding package was having Gwyn behind the scenes and steering the ship with her staff. She kept us on schedule, juggled all the vendors, did the setup/breakdown, and carefully managed all the small details that need to be done that would've been overwhelming if we were to be in charge of all of that! The wedding went so smoothly, and many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

I cannot say enough good things about Gwyn and Jonathan and their venue, Sydalyn Hill. My husband and I were lucky enough to stumble across their property and we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. We live in a beach city in Los Angeles but wanted to get married “in the trees.” We were looking for a wedding space that felt secluded and hidden amongst the Redwoods and we got exactly that with Sydalyn Hill. The property is breathtaking and the views of the San Lorenzo Valley were a spectacular backdrop for our ceremony. We held our reception underneath beautiful old walnut trees that were lit up with lights and chandeliers. The bar was set up in an original structure from the early 1900’s that helped establish the authentic rustic vibe we were looking for and there are orchards and gardens for the guests to walk through and enjoy throughout the night. All of our guests still keep commenting on how beautiful and unique the venue was. In addition to the beauty of the venue, Gwyn and Jonathon were amazing throughout the planning process. Given we live in Los Angeles, most of our planning was virtual, but they were always available to help us with questions about vendors, rentals, setup, decor, timeline, etc. Gwyn is so organized and her attention to detail helped our special day go by without a hitch! Wedding planning was such a daunting task but Gwyn helped make everything seem manageable and so I was never too overwhelmed though out the process. Plus, their whole family is just so nice and a joy to work with. I highly recommend Sydalyn Hill and their team to anyone wanting an outdoor, nature-centered wedding.

My wife and I were able to have the wedding of our dreams at Sydalyn Hill! We both love the outdoors and always envisioned having our big day surrounded by a beautiful forest. And the property at Sydalyn Hill was exactly that! Nestled in the San Cruz Mountains, Sydalyn Hill is right next door to Henry Cowell Park. So it's surrounded by awesome red wood trees. You also get breathtaking views of the San Lorenzo Valley which made a perfect backdrop during the ceremony. Beyond the scenery, the property/venue owners Gwyn and Jonathan were amazing to partner with. They made us feel super comfortable throughout the coordinating process. They were both super involved in the actual planning of our event too! From letting us come multiple times throughout the year leading up to check out the venue, to answering all of our questions no matter what day or time, Gwyn and Jonathan truly cared about us and our experience. I'd highly recommend them and their venue.

Sydalyn Hill is a beautiful, peaceful, and rustic wedding venue that overlooks the redwoods. They have chandeliers in the walnut trees above the dance floor which is such an elegant a unique touch to the venue. Gwyn, Jonathan, their daughters, and team helped the entire day run smoothly. Gwyn also helped with the organization and planning leading up to the wedding. We rented the venue for the entire weekend. It was amazing getting to enjoy the venue and get settled in before the wedding day. We had the best weekend! Looking forward to coming back and renting the house in the off season.

My husband and I are so, so grateful we got to work with the team at Sydalyn Hill to host the wedding of our dreams. Gwyn and Jonathan truly saved the wedding -- we were supposed to get married up in Tahoe but had to replan the entire wedding at a new venue due to the Caldor Fire. We are so glad we found Sydalyn Hill! Gwyn and Jonathan worked with us to replan everything from scratch in two(ish) weeks and our day ended up being even more special than we could have possibly imagined. So many of our guests told us it was the most gorgeous wedding venue (and event) they had been to and we couldn't agree more. Sydalyn Hill is a really special place and Gwyn, Jonathan, and their team (shout out to Talyn!) are really special people. We would happily and wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone.

I don't have enough great things to say about Sydalyn Hill and their staff. Having our wedding at this venue was the BEST decision my husband and I made. Gwyn (venue coordinator) was incredibly involved in the whole planning process. She was organized, responsive, and also incredibly nice. Her husband, Johnathan, their daughters, and their staff went above and beyond for our big day. They completely allowed us to be present and in the moment with our guests. As the couple, we didn't feel we needed to stress because we knew everything was in good hands. The venue itself is so unique and beautiful. There is so much room to explore and create a wonderful space for your wedding. Do yourself a favor and check this venue out, you won't regret it!

We had the fortune of being Gwyn and Jonathon's first wedding at Sydalyn Hill. We described the wedding as a "Rustic Wedding" to our family and friends and wondered if they'd love it as much as we did. In the end we heard from so many people that felt it was a totally unique wedding experience and they absolutely loved it. Between the wedding ceremony on the hill, appetizers and socializing outside the barn, dinner under the Edison lights and dancing under the 100+ year old massive walnut trees with chandelier lighting, every part of our event felt special. The venue was SO us and we can't thank Gwyn and Jonathon enough for helping us make it the once-in-a-lifetime event we never want to forget!

Our wedding at Sydalyn Hill was everything I could have asked for. Gwyn and her wonderful family took so much stress off my shoulders and made the whole process enjoyable! Not only is the venue gorgeous but its rich history makes it so special:) We couldn’t have found a more perfect place. And it’s all thanks to Sydalyn Hill and the Weisberg team! You guys ROCK!!
