About this vendor
Welcome to the Orchesa Custom Design Boutique. Here, we specialize in making modern custom engagement rings. There are many different avenues to explore for engagement/partnership rings, but there are some parts of the process you can expect to be a little different in making a ring with Orchesa.
Using materials that are sourced ethically is very important; that goes for the metals and the stones. In metals, that means we either use recycled (existing metal, not newly mined) or fairtrade/fairmined metal (supporting the mining communities in the world with safe working conditions and fair pay).
When it comes to the stones, it means we are very careful in our work to ensure that your stone(s) is ethically sourced; obtaining a gemologist certified stone or an origin certificate is always an option as well and certainly adds to the peace of mind and value in insurance your special piece.
From the beginning, the process is designed to be very personal and completely transparent. Because this is a piece representing your love, your input, and added flavor is super important in making a truly special custom piece of jewelry.
Beginning with brainstorming and preferences, moving into choosing the perfect stone, and then going through sketch options, to finally handcrafting the perfect design for you.
The process is really designed to get you the perfect one-of-a-kind piece that you will be happy with forever.

Orchesa is a dream come true. The designer is endlessly talented and a gem to work with. While she designed my custom engagement ring she made my (now) husband and me feel like a t...
rue part of the process and provided valuable direction when we felt indecisive. My ring is everything I've always wanted and more. In addition to the significance of the ring itself, I love showing loved ones and hearing the genuine feedback - "That is so you!" I'm now hooked on Orchesa and not sure I'll ever wear another designer again.
When we approached Gianna about an engagement ring, we were fairly naïve about most aspects of the design process. We started with an initial conversation about what we were consid...
ering for the ring, thinking we would most likely opt for a lab made diamond with a relatively simple band, but nonetheless were excited to see what unique elements Gianna would bring to the design. So when Gianna sent us a document with a variety of stones, we were surprised that we gravitated towards a light blue Montana sapphire. After talking with Gianna and learning more about the stone, we knew it was what we wanted for the ring. From there she sent a series of hand-drawn sketches, which then evolved into a 3D model of the ring that we would eventually receive. The final product is more beautiful and unique than we had ever imagined it would be, and each step of the design process is an experience that we will look back on fondly. So while we are far from jewelry experts, it is clear to us that her knowledge, attention to detail, and creativity make Gianna exceptional at her work and able to provide both an experience and final product that could not be matched by other jewelers!

This ring is the most treasured object I own. I cannot speak highly enough about the designer and team who created it. As a designer myself, I struggled with the concept of sending...
my future husband out into the retail arena of engagement rings. Orchesa Custom design was the only answer. The quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtfulness that went into my ring stand out from every angle. Gianna's knowledge of gemstones was also incredible. My partner chose the most beautiful and unique sapphire from a curated selection of stones assembled by Gianna herself. If you want a ring that makes you feel like a total badass + queen at any moment in your life, look no further than Orchesa.

to ring design - I never felt left out of any decisions. Gianna's guidance was invaluable. She made what can be an overwhelming process fun and exciting. It was the perfect balance of helping me through it while also giving me input. We could not be more thrilled with how it turned out. My wife cherishes the ring and we remark on its beauty all the time. She gets compliments on it everywhere we go. In the beginning, I told Gianna I thought it should be "classic but modern, elegant and clean, sexy and chic - something Jessica". It is everything I imagined and more.
Gianna worked with me to create custom jewelry for my wedding day on the beach in Mexico, and I could not have been happier with how my one-of-a-kind Huichol earrings and bracelet ...
