Lorin Iwan is a Certified International Wedding Planning Professional and Event Designer with over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She launched Events by Lu in 2019 after completing her certification through QC Event School in 2018. What began as a solo endeavor quickly grew into a collaborative team of passionate, like-minded wedding professionals, leading to a rebrand now known as The Ever Haus. Lorin is known for her timeless, elegant approach to event execution and her unwavering commitment to her clients. When she’s not designing unforgettable celebrations, she’s fully immersed in family life with her loving husband, Mike, and their sweet toddler, Odin. A creative at heart, Lorin also enjoys curating styled shoots and collaborating with other industry professionals to stay inspired and ahead of trends. Her creative work can also be seen through The Mood Board Method, The Ever Haus’s sister company focused on creative direction and visual storytelling.

I hired The Ever Haus to plan our August 2024 wedding, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without Lorin and her incredible team. From the moment we booked, Lorin took care of absolutely everything—from logistics and vendor coordination to the overall design and fine details. She brought our vision to life in the most seamless, thoughtful, and stress-free way possible.
Throughout the entire process, I felt completely supported and confident that every detail was in the best hands. On the day of the wedding, everything ran flawlessly, allowing us to be fully present and soak in every moment without a single worry.

Lorin and her team absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. We had a backyard wedding. It didn’t feel like we were in a backyard at all. Their attention to detail and added elegance to our day made it so special. The amount of compliments we got of the elegant set up and ambience. I wish I could relive that day over and over again. Lorin also made sure everything ran smoothly the day of on top of everything else. Our day was perfectly seamless. I’d recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

Lorin and her team are just wonderful! She came recommended by my photographer and I’m so glad we decided to hire her. I was on the fence about hiring a wedding planner initially, but I’m SO happy i did! She thought of so many details I would have forgotten, handled vendor communication, and was superwomen on the day of the wedding. She catered to the me and my bridesmaids, my husband and his groomsmen, and our families. She made the day so seamless and worry-free for all of us. We will be forever grateful to her!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Lorin was wonderful as our day of coordinator! She was constantly communicating with me and helped ease my nerves way before the day of our wedding! She is super helpful with ALL THINGS weddings! She provided me with timelines, vendor recommendations, and more. I don’t know if our day would have happened without her! It was perfect!! We cannot thank Lorin and her team enough for all of their hard work, attentiveness, and flexibility! If you’re in need of a wedding planner look not further that Events by Lu!!!!

Where do I begin with Lorin and her incredible team? I connected with Lorin via Instagram and am so happy to have came across her page. We did a consultation and based on what my needs were booked the Emerald package. I am the most indecisive person on the planet and could not for the life of me put onto paper what I wanted for one of the biggest days if my life. I had multiple phone meetings with Lorin in the beginning to get a feel for what i wanted and still needed to get done. She created an entire vision board based off of what we spoke about during our chats. Lorin was also very accommodating as my work schedule was extremely hectic. She provided checklists to get done based off of months and even weeks before the wedding. She introduced me to Google drive which will forever change my life. We were able to share and communicate through the drive with new ideas and visions with very quick and easy access. Throughout my wedding journey i experienced a few hiccups and Lorin had nothing but advice and open arms to help me, which calmed me down when i needed it most. Lorin also offers rentals which was a huge part of making my day exactly as i envisioned. As a control freak, i had zero clue how Lorin was going to execute what i had in my mind into reality and let me tell you she did not disappoint. Her team put together two welcome signs that was EXACTLY what i wanted and a seating chart placed on multiple cubes which my guests were floored about. Once i get my pictures back i will be blowing up her feed with how beautiful everything turned out. Her team was very sweet and helpful. They constantly checked in on my husband and I throughout the reception. Since my ceremony was offsite they helped que the bridal party down the aisle and make sure everything was in place. The day went by so fast, i don’t think i could have done it without Lorin and her team guiding us along the way. If you are in search of a helping hand whether it is for the day or even for the entire planning process you will love Lorin!

We hired Events by Lu for Month of and Day of coordination. Lorin and Allision went above and beyond to make sure all of our details were taken care of and executed. They put in so much work with planning, giving us ideas, and creating the best mood boards for our wedding day. They are truly professionals, and our wedding day wouldn't have gone smoothly without them!

Events by Lu was great help on day of the wedding. Lorin and her team made it so the bridal party did not even have to think about the small details. They made sure flowers were transferred between the ceremony and venue, ensured the bridal party was where they needed to be, even took all gifts up to the bridal suite after the reception started for us to make sure it was all safe. If you are looking for just a day of wedding planner, this is a great company to work with.

I cannot recommend Lorin and her team enough! I had no stress on the big day because I knew she was executing everything, exactly how we dreamed. Everything from the rehearsal, ceremony/reception set up and tear down, execution of the events, and helping plan the perfect photo locations…they did it all! Lorin always answered and helped solve every question/concern that arose during the planning process. The best decision was hiring this team for my wedding!!

I could not recommend Events by Lu enough! Lorin was everything we needed and more! She went above and beyond not only the day of the wedding, but for months leading up to our day! From the phone conferences, decor talks, detailed in person meetings, and abundance of inventory she has to offer. She is truly a pleasure to work with and made us feel at ease and stress free. Hiring Events by Lu was one hundred percent the best money I could have ever spent. Thank you so much Lorin. You have no clue how grateful we are and were!

Lorin was a DREAM vendor! She made our big day perfect! I am admittedly a bit of a control freak and an anxious person by nature, but Lorin handled everything with ease and left me nothing to stress about! She was the most confident, professional, fun, sweet person to have on the day of! She was so fun to be around yet so efficient and handled every small detail on the day of and leading up to it! Lorin is someone I will forever recommend to friends, family, or anyone!!! She gave us the most perfect wedding day, I was so calm and relaxed all day and got to truly enjoy my day without feeling any stress or worry! I seriously cannot recommend her enough!

Lorin was so attentive and willing to give so much of her time. I had a lot of questions throughout the planning process, which she answered quickly and thoroughly.

There isn’t enough I can say about Lorin, when I say wedding life saver I mean it! She thought of every single detail that I would never think of, helped cut costs down and kept me sane ( my husband can’t thank her enough for that ). I have suggested her to fellow brides and was lucky enough to be apart of another wedding she planned and, of course, knocked that one out of the park too! I wish I could rate her more than 5 stars.

Nikki was very professional, and on top of it. She paid attention to every detail of the day to ensure it went smoothly and always acted on our behalf to make sure we were happy. She quickly curated a very detailed and easy to read timeline list when we were pressed for time and she did a great job. I really appreciated her honesty and recommendations with certain obstacles and it made for a seamless transition throughout the day. Highly recommend her to anyone needing a good foundation for their special day!!

Where to even start about how amazing Lu was? From the start our wedding planning was challenging due to us living in Colorado. Lu eased our anxiety and stress from the start from afar. She managed to do our walk thrus via FaceTime. She really advocated and supported us in the ways that we needed as we were navigating wedding planning and then on the day of our wedding. She completely brought our inspiration and vision to life for our wedding day. She helped us curate the most beautiful and best day of our life. We truly couldn’t have done it without her! We highly recommend Lu!

Hiring Lorin for our event coordination was probably the best decision I could have made for my wedding! I didn't think I needed someone to help, but IMMEDIATLEY after hiring them I felt my stress levels lift. My wedding was stress-free and I was able to relax and enjoy my day because I knew Lorin and her team had everything taken care of.
I still can't believe all that the event coordination package entailed. I had my photographer and my venue tell me how amazing Lorin was and tell me how impressed they were with her team. Lorin was there for my detail planning meeting with my venue and my rehearsal dinner (thank goodness she was there because I had no idea how to run that!). If you hire them just remember to use all of the resources you're paying for and you absolutely won't regret it!
I would hire Events By Lu again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to all my Cleveland area friends.

I never would have survived our wedding day without Lorin! She was on top of everything and made sure details were taken care of that I didn't even think about. You never know how much goes into a wedding and I realized you can't do it so smoothly without a planner and coordinator. Very detail oriented, personable, fun and professional.
