I couldn’t have chosen a better venue! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the reception hall is gorgeous, and the staff were an absolute pleasure to work with! I felt so supported by the venue staff during my planning process and throughout my wedding day. Not to mention, their prices are very affordable. I’d make the same choice if I had to do it all over again!

We couldn’t be more thankful that we had our wedding at The Venue at Edgewood! It’s an absolutely gorgeous venue and had so many features that were super helpful to us! Some of the big ones that I think are great to know about include:
- A large amount of space that could easily and comfortably accommodate our pretty large guest list (we had a little over 130 guests attend)
- Wedding Party Cottages on site that were especially useful for our wedding party who were traveling in from other parts of the US
- Beautiful Indoor and Outdoor Ceremony options (this was really important for our Winter wedding to make sure we had options that could easily work with the unpredictable Winter weather of SC)
- Lots of parking available at the venue which was great for our guests with mobility issues not to have to walk a great distance to the main building
The staff members are so sweet, very helpful, and always answered any questions we had! We first visited the venue at one of their Open Houses and my husband and I immediately felt that this venue was the one because of how beautiful the venue and grounds were, how kind and informative the staff was, and the overall serene and romantic setting! I highly recommend The Venue at Edgewood to all couples looking for a venue in Upstate SC!

With 6-foot Swarovski chandeliers, a 32-foot, naturally-stained wood ceiling, and high-end accents throughout, it is a luxurious setting suited for an elegant event. Inside, the open and expansive floor plan allows for a range of layouts and designs. A cherry wood staircase leads upstairs to the balcony, offering a relaxing setting overlooking the venue space. Couples will also be pleased to find get-ready rooms and a range of other amenities to help them prepare for their long-awaited celebration. Outside, the main hall is lined with a covered porch for a relaxing cocktail looking out over the naturally luscious grounds of the property. Great care was taken in the construction of Edgewood's outdoor ampitheatre which is nestled in between Grand Oak trees and beautiful cherry trees
The hosts of The Venue at Edgewood offer a long list of preferred vendors for couples to choose from for their special day. he venue's team was outside cleaning the outdoor ceremony space and setting up so that I could have the ceremony I was hoping for! Needless to say, everything turned out beautifully and I felt so supported by the Venue at Edgewood team throughout the whole process-from the day I signed my contract until the day of the wedding! They took the stress off of my shoulders so that I could enjoy every moment!
I opted to have the venue's in house coordinator, Morgan Timmons, as my "month of" coordinator and she went ABOVE and beyond in her position! She was available for questions and advice well before the month prior to my wedding and did an PHENOMENAL job at rehearsal and wedding day! My family couldn't stop talking about how well she lead all of the events so that everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the celebrations! It is a MUST that you hire her when choosing the Venue at Edgewood - she is the best of the best!
This venue is gorgeous all around, has so much space to work with and the bridal cottages are the sweetest feature that brings this venue above and beyond others! Future brides - I encourage you to tour and book this venue!

the wedding day. The venue itself is beautiful, and we could not have asked for better weather on the big day. It is not far off of I-85, but interstate noise is not an issue, and the venue is easy to get to with plenty of room for parking. Having the cottages, bridal suite, groom suite, ceremony area, and reception made the day run smoothly without ever having to leave the property.
