The live strings were such a beautiful addition to the wedding! The music created an elegant atmosphere and added something really special to the ceremony. As a Tucson wedding coordinator, I love seeing details that elevate the guest experience without feeling overdone and they did exactly that. k. And each of the musicians were so talented - the music was gorgeous and exactly the type of blend we asked for. The only reason I left off the 5th star is because I asked them to start my walk down song at a very specific place in the song, and they didn't. It threw me off - I was waiting for that cue to start walking and it never came, so I was feeling a little off kilter by the time I decided to just start walking. Still, I highly recommend booking Magnolia Strings. They are professional, responsive, and wildly talented. We loved working with them.

add was that they did stop playing the prelude music right at 30 minutes, but we were running a few minutes behind, so there was a slight lull in music before the processional music started. It was a little odd and probably a good idea to communicate expectations to keep playing if there's a delay (which happens often at weddings!). I would have happy been charged a fee and avoided the lull. But didn't even think about this possibility ahead of time, so no one's fault really. They provided services as were laid out in our contract.

and learned compositions for some special request pop songs (for which orchestral music didn't exist, as far as I'm aware). I was the crazy bride that wanted to walk down the aisle to a cello/viola version of a Yeah Yeah Yeahs song, and they made it happen, and it was truly one of the best moments of my life!! During the planning process, they were patient and flexible. They even agreed to play the ceremony in a dry wash outdoors with no electricity, which I had some other strings players turn me down, saying it wasn't possible/ideal. If you're thinking about hiring them, DO IT! I splurged on this one item for my wedding day, and I do not regret it one bit. Everything was truly perfect. Thank you Magnolia Strings!!
