Heather Royal

Aside from being an incredibly talented designer, Heather Royal is a true professional. She helped me design the wedding dress of my dreams and created a wedding dress far beyond my expectations. She was patient and supportive throughout the entire process; though I had an idea of how I wanted the dress to be, there were many aspects I was unsure of or didn’t know enough about . Heather listened to my vision and made recommendations based on her expertise - she helped me settle on a neckline and waistline that was most flattering for my body, suggested the best train lengths and provided me with only the highest quality fabric options. She laid out the timeline for the dress design and creation and set up our fittings and appts that worked with my schedule. When Covid hit (2 months before our original date), my husband and I still wanted to tie the knot in 2020 in a smaller, more intimate ceremony . I found a piece from Heather’s prior collection that I absolutely loved which was altered for our summer microwedding. The dress was less formal than the custom-made but had beautiful bead and lace details. Heather also added off the shoulder sleeves for me which is my favorite neck line, but was not reasonable for a reception (I love to dance and wanted to be able to throw my hands up in the air!) I cannot recommend Heather Royal enough - working with her was the easiest and best part of a very stressful wedding planning process!
