The English Country Barn of the Carolinas is a wedding venue located in Magnolia, NC, established in Summer 2021, just 50 minutes away from Wilmington and only 10 minutes off the I40. Situated on 310 private acres, the vast, lush property is ideal for blissful, secluded celebrations. Centrally located just off of I-40, it’s easily accessible by locals and out-of-town couples alike. When celebrating at The English Country Barn of the Carolinas, you can enjoy North Carolina’s abundant natural beauty. Surrounded by picturesque, wooded trails and bucolic pastures, the property offers a serene setting for any occasion. At the heart of it all is the custom-designed, chic barn where you can host your milestone moments. In this 6,000+ square feet of event space, you can celebrate with up to 200 loved ones. With sparkling chandeliers and exquisite custom tables throughout, the interior is sure to leave a lasting impression. For the comfort of you and your guests no matter the season, the barn is climate-controlled. You are welcome to extend your event into the open air by availing of the building’s adjacent Wessex Chapel, gardens, and oversized patio, If you’re an animal lover, the venue’s horses can be featured in your special day. Prior to the event’s dazzling highlights, to-be-weds are invited to prepare in two on-site get-ready suites, The Windsor Room and The York Room. Thanks to their full-length mirrors, beautiful vanities, plush furnishings, and coffee bars, they offer relaxing, luxurious ambience. The staff at The English Country Barn of the Carolinas is devoted to helping couples host unforgettable celebrations. They will be there to set up and clean up your chosen event space, allowing you more time with family and friends. Throughout the event, the team will be there to support you and your loved ones in any way possible. For a memorable reception experience, your preferred catering team is welcome to use the on-site warming kitchen. Entertainment equipment, such as a sound system and two wireless microphones, will also be provided. To simplify your preparation process, the venue is happy to supply 200 Chiavari chairs, 200 white ceremony chairs, round tables, and banquet-style tables. For the convenience of you and your guests, on-site parking and golf cart transportation around the venue is available. The Wessex Chapel comes complete with 26 white pews.

Teresa and Ian were so amazing! Professional but still personal and didn't bat an eyelash when I said I wanted to use a space they had never used for a ceremony before. Everything from the barn to the cottages are so well thought out and so put together that it made everything go off without a hitch!

I didn’t even want to tour other venues after seeing this one! The owners were so personable and wanted our day to be special! I couldn’t have asked for better owners. They were around when needed but did not hover during our weekend! Venue was spectacular and they are making so many more updates as the days go on! We loved every second of hiding this venue!

I was so pleased with how perfect our wedding at the English Country barn was. From top to bottom you can tell they have thought of everything! There were so many options on where we could hold the ceremony, and after we picked we realized... we get to use all of the other areas for our photos!!! Both the inside and outside were absolutely breathtaking and Ian and Teresa were great to work with. It is so easy to flow people from ceremony, to pictures, to cocktail hour, and then to the reception. There is nowhere else I could imagine msrrying my soulmate. Thank you Ian and Teresa for pouring your love into building this astonishing venue!

We got married here in September and we couldn’t be happier with how everything went! First, Teresa and Ian was the best to work with – They was easygoing and professional from the start, and made us and our whole crew feel very welcome. You couldn’t ask for a nicer owners to work with and anyone who has planned a wedding knows you have a LOT of contact with your venue prior to the event. All our expectations were met and then some. The outside has plenty of room for the wedding ceremony. They have different options to have a ceremony .the inside had plenty of room for all of us guests. The views are simply amazing. Very beautiful. We had a wonderful time. This is the best venue ever I’m always going to be their #1 Fan.. Teresa and Ian you guys are the best. Thank you for everything Love jassmine and Tyrone

My daughter had her dream wedding at The English Country Barn of the Carolinas. Ian and Teresa go above and beyond to make everything perfect. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend this venue.

The most amazing venue. Out of all the ones I toured this was the only one I fell in love with immediately. The owners are absolutely wonderful, I loved them and they were so sweet to work with! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and it could not have been more perfect for my wedding. The wooden tables are absolutely beautiful and it’s kept up very nice. I will always recommend this venue

If you’re looking for a barn for your wedding this is THE place to go!! Outstanding surround sound speakers, crisp cold AC and so many options for ceremony sites! They even have the new AirBnB that you can book as well, we booked and had the groomsman get ready in it while the girls got ready in the barn. Made for the perfect surprise for my now husband. Everything about this place is just so perfect. Ian and Teresa are so accommodating and will do everything in their power to make sure your day is perfect. Such a quick drive from Wilmington and the surrounding areas. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue to host my wedding!

This wedding venue was very beautiful. Exactly what we were looking for. The owners Ian and Teresa were an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. They made sure everything was in order and they were there every step of the way to help ensure that the wedding and reception went beautifully. We had no issues or problems. We highly recommend this place hands down 10 out of 10.

The English Country Barn of the Carolinas was the best choice we could have made not only because of how gorgeous the location is, but because Tersea and Ian are incredible people who will go above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. Beautiful people with a beautiful venue and I am so grateful we got to have our special day here!!

If you are looking for a venue with sophisticated elegance, size, indoors/outdoors, no requirements on caterer, and under 10k. STOP! This is the place! The pictures don't do it justice and the owners are awesome to work with. I was just about to give up on anything in the Triangle/Wilmington areas that didn't nickel and dime me for every little thing. Working with the English Country Barn of the Carolinas has been refreshingly easy and there are no hidden fees. With so many people still concerned about Covid, this was the perfect "destination wedding" for me. I wanted to get away, but I wanted my guests to feel comfortable and not everyone wants to get vaccinated to leave the country, so this was the perfect option. It feels like you're not even in NC and there is an abundance of space! My guests who are really concerned can sit up in the loft area and still be a part of everything. This venue has it all. We are so glad we found you!

Ian and his family have done a wonderful job creating a dream wedding venue for their community. Not only is everything gorgeous but very thought through to make you feel even more special on your wedding day. I am so excited to start our happy ever after at this venue, October can not get here fast enough.

We had our wedding at this beautiful venue. It was perfect for our needs. I was able to fulfill my childhood dream of riding my horse down the aisle. Owners are nice and very professional, they made sure my day was exactly how it should be.
