I had the pleasure of getting my bridesmaid makeup done by Dilven and she was a ray of sunshine. I had a lot of anxiety about getting my makeup done due to bad experiences prior but she did such an amazing job. My makeup was flawless and my confidence sky rocketed. Very beautiful human being.

Dilven did my makeup for my cousins wedding and she was absolutely amazing! Not only did she help all of us look so beautiful for my cousin’s big day, she was so much fun and a pleasure to work with. Personally, I’ve always hated getting my make up done from other people because I feel I can’t sit still that easily, but she was patient and knowledgeable and is so easy to have a conversation with and just an overall lovely person. I wish I could take her everywhere with me whenever I need to look nice!!

Dilven was such a wonderful makeup artist for the wedding I attended over the weekend. Not only did she absolutely slay all of the bridal makeup but she had such a positive, caring attitude the whole time. The energy she brought to the process made a world of difference. She gave us helpful tips and was so patient with me bringing my own makeup as I have allergies to certain products. She was more than accommodating and again, such a pleasure to be around!

I had such a great time with Dilven! She previously did my makeup when I was a MOH last year. So when I got engaged, I knew who I wanted to do my bridal trial with. I mentioned I'm a combo skin girly, and she knew exactly what products to use for my skin type. I didn't know what look I wanted to go for so I just described what I usually go for and she took it from there. Each step throughout the session, she explained what she was using and also answered any questions I had. I loved the final look, she did a great job at covering what I wanted but also let my natural freckles peak out. I mentioned I wanted a smoky eye look and she delivered! In terms of lasting power, it lasted all day and into the night.

CANCELLED ON ME 9 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING! "Working" with Dilven was by far the worst experience of my wedding. I do not recommend her services and advise to avoid her at all costs. I reached out to Dilven in Nov '22 about doing the makeup for my wedding (in Sept '23). Everything seemed great, so I signed a contract with her and sent a deposit. I also asked Dilven if she would do my rehearsal dinner makeup. She quickly agreed. From my perspective everything was locked in. When booking my trial, I told her that I do not live in the New England area, but I had a few trips scheduled there. I wanted to do my trial during one of these trips. In May '23 I contacted Dilven and booked a trial for the end of the month. It was challenging to figure out this booking as Dilven has a full-time job, but I was happy to accommodate. As a freelancer, I understand the importance of side hustles and was happy to work around her schedule. However, the DAY BEFORE the trial she canceled. I reminded her that I don't live in the area and wouldn't be able to visit MA again before the wedding. Still, she decided to move forward with the cancellation explaining that she had to work her other job when our trial was scheduled. A few weeks before my wedding Dilven and I were emailing. She said she would need a hotel room for 2 nights (Thursday and Friday). This was never fully outlined in the contract. I knew I would be putting her up on Friday night between the rehearsal dinner and the reception, but wasn't told she'd need a 2nd night until now. However, I happily obliged. My venue could only accommodate guests starting on Fri. Dilven wanted to arrive on Thur for a 2-3pm application on Fri (She lives a 3-hour drive away, so this request really made no sense, but I went with it anyway). I told her I would have to book her in a hotel offsite as we didn't have a hotel block in Maine for Thursday night. Even my fiance and I weren't arriving in Maine until Friday. During our email exchanges, Dilven mentioned that she wanted 2 hours to do my rehearsal makeup and that our time would be used as a "trial" since we never had one. This was contradictory to her earlier emails in which we discussed the option of forgoing the trial, and both agreed to skip it. I kindly told Dilven that on the day before my wedding, I didn't have time for a trial. I just wanted a basic application for dinner. Then Dilven also emailed me an arbitrary number for her travel. I questioned where this number came from. The contract had numbers for travel outlined and the price she was providing me didn't match those. Dilven couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked to speak to her on the phone, but received an email saying that she could no longer work my wedding. Here are some reasons she outlined in email: 1) The contract was not "valid" as I had TBD listed in a few places (such as my day-of schedule, etc.) Why would I know all this a year before the wedding when I originally signed the document? 2) Said I "never" booked her a hotel room. I did. And it's not refundable. 3) I questioned her travel rate. 4) I didn't have a trial... Yet she said not having a trial was fine, and she was the one who canceled my trial. Dilven has yet to answer my phone calls or texts. She's completely ghosted me. I've never encountered someone so unprofessional. Overall booking Dilven was a horrible decision as it caused me an extreme amount of stress on the week leading up to my wedding. I do not recommend this vendor as she was unreliable and gaslit me through the entire process.

Dilven did a fantastic job with my makeup and really understood what I wanted for my bridal look. She took the time to ask questions about my skin type, makeup preferences, all while providing a great experience. She was easy to work with and when talking with her I felt like I had known her for years. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about Dilven. What a pure soul with amazing talent. I just had my bridal make up trial with her and we instantly hit it off . She was so attentive to the look I was trying to achieve and made sure I was pleased at every step of her process ! I had such an amazing experience with Dilven. 10/10 would recommend her for your special day. She’s extremely talented, knowledgeable and professional and delivered such a glammed-up look that left me speechless. I felt like a glowing goddess. I absolutely loved Dilven! First of all, she was extremely friendly, fun, enthusiastic, and welcoming. I had an event that I needed my makeup done for and stumbled across her page. I booked with her and I am so glad I did. Dilven is so knowledgeable and organized with her makeup artistry. She is also super strategic with the application of her products! I barely felt that I had makeup on all night; it felt so light. I also did not feel like I had too much makeup on my face. I loved how beautiful it looked on my skin (which is very textured) and looked like my skin. When I looked in the mirror I could not look away because I have quite literally never felt so beautiful in my life! Dilven and I chatted and laughed the whole time she was doing my makeup. She made the whole experience so comfortable for me. I loved her and will book with her again and again.

I absolutely loved working with Dilven from the start to the end. She did my wedding makeup and made my skin look flawless. She responds quickly and was very flexible with scheduling my makeup trial. The day of the wedding she was not only on time, but even a little early! My mother in law at first she was a little hesitant since she never had makeup done before. In the end she was very happy she did and was most excited for her eyelashes. Dilven makes you feel comfortable and is great to sit and chat with. You will not have to worry if you hire with Dilven.

I had the pleasure of getting my makeup done by Dilven for my best friend's wedding. I love the soft glam/natural glam look and I appreciate that I still look like me but just an elevated version of myself. I have combination skin and my makeup lasted really well throughout the day. I got my makeup done at 5 am and it still looked really good by 12 am the next day. She provided a touch up kit which was really nice, the blotting sheets came in handy as well! Having Dilven as our make up artist was an amazing experience! I was a bridesmaid at a wedding last week and working with Dilven felt so easy. She immediately made me feel beautiful even before the makeup. She listened to exactly what I wanted: soft glam and not too “cakey,” and worked really well with managing my skin type (I get oily quickly). She gave us all a gift bag with small goodies in order to touch up our makeup throughout the night which was supper helpful. I highly recommend working with her!

From the moment I met Dilven during our makeup trial, I knew she was the the person to complete the makeup looks for both me and my bridesmaids; so much so, that I didn’t even book a trial with any other makeup artists! Had my makeup trial with Dilven for my September wedding! I’m not big on makeup knowledge and my confidence could use some work so I was anxious going into an appointment focused on my looks for two hours! Dilven made me feel super comfortable immediately and used her expertise when I didn’t have exact directions to get to what I was generally looking for. She explained every new thing going on my face and asked questions that helped both her and I figure out the look. The result was a natural glam which is what I wanted! Application-wise, I always struggle with strip lashes due to me eye shape but the lashes stayed on better than any other time I’ve tried them. Even the corners that usually come off. When I took them off it didn’t take any of my real lashes off either. She was very open to any style adjustments I want to make for wedding day. I’m a people pleaser so I felt bad making any new edits after sitting with it for a while but she makes sure you know it’s your day and wants to give you what you want! Aside from the makeup itself, she was a pleasure to work with and a generous fun helpful person. She also gave me some skincare tips and product recommendations. I’m much more comfortable going into wedding day and definitely recommend, esp to anyone who needs a helping hand in figuring out what look you’re going for and understanding makeup in general!

I just had my bridal trial today with Dilven and it went better than i could have ever imagined! She was so nice and attentive the whole appointment and made sure i was involved in the whole process. My makeup came out amazing and I can’t wait to have her glam me and my ladies up on my wedding day!

Dilven is awesome!! I don’t normally wear too much make up so I asked her to help me look natural just a tad bit more lively than bare faced. She is a great listener and made sure sure to ask about allergies and preferences in terms of colors and amount of coverage. I also appreciated her checking in with what I liked and wanted throughout the process. Dilven is a great choice for brides looking for someone who will listen and laugh with them while giving them a beautiful natural look and glow. Definitely recommend!

Wow, wow, wow. Not only is Dilven's talent to be adored, but it's to be respected. Her level of professionalism and talent made my entire experience/makeup session with her fun and run smoothly. I have gotten my makeup done by various professionals and Dilven by far has provided the best experience! As someone with a darker complexion I always get nervous about a makeup artist’s ability to match colors to my skin tone while maintaining a natural look. Dilven came highly recommended from mutual friends who have hired her for their wedding makeup and other events where a MUA was needed. She was very accommodating knowing that I had a busy schedule. Upon arrival for the trial, she made me feel so comfortable and asking me questions about my skin routine and what I wanted done. All I said was glam but nothing TOO dramatic. had the pleasure of working with Dilven for my maternity shoot. She professional and fun to spend time with, I was genuinely bummed out when she was done and had to leave. She made me feel like a superstar and I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. My maternity was during one of the most recent heat waves here in Belize. Despite the elements my make up and hair stayed perfectly throughout the entire day and night. Not only that, but she finished almost 30min earlier than anticipated!!! I had one of the luckiest experiencefor choosing Dilven as my makeup artist for my wedding. I have witnessed horrible makeup for brides first hand. Dilven not only has an awesome personality, she is very skillful with her craft. Being Asian, I was a bit apprehensive on how my make up would turn out. Our features and eye shape are really different from a Caucasian's so it takes a person with experience to understand and emphasize our features. Dilven was able to apply my mom's makeup and my bridesmaids and then myself within the allotted time. She did a magnificent job. She is truly professional and came right at 5 am to start doing the work. I complete recommend her to anyone who needs a professional and awesome makeup artist.

Wedding planning & especially getting ready and looking oh so perfect with bridal makeup is the hardest thing in the world, especially if you live in a place like New York. I think I prayed & I was sent a miracle and I got that with Dilven! She literally swooped in like a guardian angel! Her passion combined with her skill is literally unmatched. Dilven is an absolute ANGEL! I will try to keep this short but I can't shut up about this incredible woman. I instantly felt comfortable when we talked on the phone and I knew we would have to choose her as our photographer because my husband gets camera shy and we didn't feel that same connection with anyone else we were talking to. She was open minded to my ideas, very professional and funny which was a huge plus for our group. Not only did she take the initiative to learn about the travel restrictions in Belize but she even reached out with a few things to help me plan which I know is way beyond what her schedule allows with having so many other jobs/commitments. Everyone at our wedding loved her and she exceeded all of our expectations. She just made our day feel truly magical and she even posted a few stories which I am so grateful for because I never post and now we have all these extra little moments we can look back on. I was so happy to see the connections she made as well and all of the resort staff were OBSESSED with her. That was very relieving for me since I flew her out to a new country by herself! She could talk to anyone about anything and has made a lasting impression on the locals. Our wedding would not have been the same without her, thank you Dilven!
