I am deeply saddened to leave this review. I chose Desert Bridal for my wedding hair and makeup services based on the glowing reviews of Audra, but my experience with her was incredibly disappointing. From the moment I signed my contract, things took a sharp turn for the worse. Audra was quick to respond and take my deposit when I first inquired about booking hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. However, after that initial contact, communication completely stopped. Over the next four months, I made multiple attempts to reach Audra via email, phone, text, and even Instagram messages — not only to add another service to my package but also to inform her of my address change for day-of services. Despite my efforts, I received no response whatsoever. At that point, I was left in a state of panic, fearing I had been scammed, especially after already paying nearly $1,000 for services I had not received. To make matters worse, Audra was posting regularly on social media about other brides, which only made me feel more ignored and dismissed. It wasn’t until my mother stepped in and left a voicemail expressing her concerns that Audra finally responded — after almost five months of silence. Within 60 seconds of the voicemail, I received a text back. As another bride mentioned in her review, it was painfully clear that unless you’re paying extra for Audra to personally do your hair and makeup, she does not prioritize her clients. Thankfully, Tanya stepped in to handle both my trial and day-of services, and she was absolutely incredible. Tanya was professional, responsive, kind, and made the entire experience nothing less than amazing for me and my bridesmaids she worked on. She was everything I had hoped for from the beginning and restored my faith in the process. I am very sad to leave my first one star review ever with a company, since I do not want it to hinder the success or bookings of the other amazing ladies who helped with hair and makeup on my wedding day, I just do not believe Audra should ever treat any clients the way I was treated. In conclusion, I am extremely saddened and appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and service from Audra. I strongly advise other brides to think carefully before trusting Desert Bridal with such a crucial part of their wedding day.

Booked desert bridal for hair and make up for myself and 6 others in my bridal party. Everyone loved their hair and make. Everyone looked stunning and felt confident! They arrived on time to start the morning off and finished on time as well. Would highly recommend desert bridal for your wedding!

I can not thank these girls enough for making me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful on my wedding day! Audra did our makeup and Kenzie did our hair and we got SO many compliments throughout the night. Our hair and makeup still looked beautiful after hours of dancing in the AZ heat. I found Desert Bridal Company through Facebook and booked them because they offered BOTH hair and makeup and offered a package that fit the needs of myself and my bridesmaids. This made the planning SO easy which meant a lot to me! :) They listened to what we wanted, had great communication, and made us feel confident. Thank you again!!!

Audra did my wedding makeup and it was absolute perfection, she was so sweet and brought my vision to life! Kenzie did my hair and it was stunning! All of my bridesmaids also loved their hair and makeup! It lasted all day/night long in the AZ heat! Highly recommend this company!!

Audra and her team did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and me in March 2024 for my wedding and it was exactly what I hoped for. I chose to have Audra (the owner) do my personal hair and makeup and she did a great job of keeping everyone on schedule while also making sure that my hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted. When there is 10+ girls getting services done, it can be a little chaotic but they made the best of the situation in our small getting ready space. All of her girls were so sweet and made everyone feeling beautiful! So happy that we chose to move forward with Desert Bridal!

Details below, but communications with the owner were awful. My assigned hair & makeup artist for my wedding trial and wedding day was Whitney and she was AMAZING! We absolutely loved her and her work was spectacular. The struggle I had with this company was with the business owner, Audra. She communicated very very quickly when I first inquired and she sent me my contract to sign immediately. After my deposit was paid, the communication was awful. I reached out to her via email regarding booking my trial for about a week straight with no response, and when I finally heard back she told me she would reach out to schedule my trial once it was closer (this was 8 weeks before the allotted trial window started which was fine). But I literally had to reach out again within the 3 months before my wedding to try and book my trial around all of the other vendor appointments I had going on. The day after my trial I emailed Audra photos of wear, what I wanted to change, and questions like - is skin prep included, do I get a touch up kit, etc. and NEVER got a response. I had to text my artist Whitney the week before my wedding to ask if I could buy my own setting spray because I was worried about the wear time on trial day. And Whitney promptly responded and helped me. Aside from that, I got a text ON my wedding day from Audra to make my final payment before the artist left otherwise I was getting charged late fees. Audra made me feel like a literal number and dollar sign. She’s lucky Whitney was so kind otherwise I definitely would’ve backed out of that contract due to all of the red flags and lack of communication. And she didn’t even sign/complete my contract until 11pm the night before my wedding. So honestly you may get a good experience if Audra herself is the artist, but if you’re a low budget bride be prepared to be ignored.

Audra and her team were so wonderful to work with on my wedding day--they made my whole crew feel beautiful. They were attentive to everyone's preferences and did wonderful work (both makeup and hair). 10/10 would choose to work with Desert Bridal Company again!

Audra was AMAZING. She and her team member Kenzi were wonderful as a team as well as their quality of work. She was professional, yet relatable. Great communication and attention to details. Highly recommend her services. Bridesmaids were wanting her services for their special events as well! That’s got to say something.

Audra and her team of makeup and hair artists did such a beautiful job for mine and my large bridal parties hair and makeup. Total 15 of us got our hair and makeup done and each of the stylists took their time and had plenty of time to finish! I have never been a part of a wedding where everyone’s hair and makeup looked flawless, not to mention starting the day at 6 am with everyone still looking stunning at 11 pm. Audra was extremely responsive throughout the whole process and was so easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this team for a seamless, beautiful hair and makeup experience!

Desert Bridal Company was one of the smoothest running parts of my wedding day. Audra and her team were on time, set up quickly, and worked with each other to accomplish H&MU for my bridal party of 6, my mom, and myself. We had many different skin tones and each of us felt confident with our finished looks! My bridal H&MU trial went smoothly as well. Desert Bridal spent the time to make sure I liked every shade of makeup for my special day. Their hair stylist is licensed and was able to trim my hair to achieve my desired wedding day look! Can't recommend these ladies enough!

Communication with Audra made booking a smooth process, and Jasmine did a great job with makeup for my bridal party and was super kind to work with! She made sure to take notes during the trial of what we did so we could perfect a natural look on the big day.

I wanted to look and feel like a princess and this team did not disappoint! A team of 5 arrived on time to make sure 10 of us all looked our best on my wedding day. I had some extensions I wanted put in and styled, wasn't a problem for Amanda at all! I missed my trial appointment and the owner was very gracious and understanding. I wasn't emotional about my wedding until I saw how incredible I looked after hair and makeup. The moms, all my bridal party got the royal treatment. This plus size old woman looked like a Disney princess bride!!!! HIRE THEM NOW. DO IT.

Audra was amazing! When we did the bridal trial I immediately fell in love with the way my make up looked. It was full coverage but did not feel heavy at all. I received so many compliments. At the end of the night with dancing and running around my make up still looked flawless. I did not want to wash it off at the end of the night. She was very punctual and we did not feel rushed. Thank you so much Audra for making my special day perfect. I would recommend her for any special events.

Desert Bridal Company was absolutely fantastic! Amanda knew exactly what I was looking for for my hair and makeup and absolutely nailed it on the wedding day. She also did a fabulous job on my mom’s hair and makeup as well. Amanda made me feel absolutely gorgeous and my husband loved how I looked as well! The rest of the crew who did my bridesmaid’s hair and makeup, as well as my mother in law’s hair were wonderful! I highly recommend Desert Bridal Company.

This team did such an amazing job on our hair and makeup! I was nervous about everyone’s looks holding up from 9am when we started getting ready until after the wedding ceremony at 5 and everyone looked perfect all day! Audra is fantastic and easy to talk with to answer all questions I had, and Loyss did such a great job working with me to tweak things with my bridal look from the trial to the wedding day, and Kenzie did great helping Audra get my girls ready. They were fast, efficient, and everyone looked amazing!

Audra fit me in last minute to do my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and I was seriously blown away! The airbrush makeup is 10000% worth the upgrade!

Audra and her team are amazing. They exceeded each and every expectation of mine. I had the pleasure of having Ani as Audra’s assistant for my wedding day. Both are so incredibly talented, professional and punctual. They knocked out 6 women effortlessly, everyone looked flawless and loved their makeup. My look was a soft glam that lasted for hours!!!!!! Would hire for any future event and recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a makeup artist that cares about their clients.

We had such a GREAT experience with Desert Bridal Company!! I was a bridesmaid when working with the company and have honestly referred them to other friends who are also in the wedding planning season, because of our experience. Audra and the other ladies were professional, so fun to spend the morning with, and did an amazing job at capturing the vision for H&M. The ladies also took time to listen to each girl about their vision, and we’re great at making sure everyone was satisfied and in love with their beauty look. I appreciated the professionalism, enthusiasm, willingness to fix or correct as needed, and overall zeal for the process!

Audra and her team were wonderful! She maintained excellent communication from the moment I contacted her. She keeps in touch as far as payments and when things are due. She is very organized and professional. My bridal party and I did a trial for both hair and makeup as well as wedding day hair and makeup with Audra and Kenzie. We all loved our hair and makeup. Each of us wanted a natural makeup look which Audra did perfectly! They were both so kind and we all had the best time!
