The Femmes are Boston & New York's all-woman and non-binary wedding band specializing in songs by female and non-binary artists. When you’re at a Femmes show, you’re at a high energy concert experience. Epic sing-alongs, expertly crafted harmonies, and musicians who absolutely LOVE to interact with the audience, the Femmes are your go-to LGBTQ+ party band!
We're a band that's completely different from any other band you'll talk to for your wedding. Not only because we're the only band that is majority women from our singers to our musicians, but we play a show that makes it feel like you're at a live concert. We diva it up with a tight trio of vocalists who all have different strengths so we can sing anything from Beyonce to Pat Benatar to Lady Gaga. And, we have a full horn section in our 10 piece band.
The Femmes perform in Massachusetts, New York, Cape Cod, Newport, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Connecticut. Ask us about destination weddings! We'll travel 😁

The Femmes is a premium, customizable three to 10-piece band performing high-energy music sure to elevate your celebration. We play cocktail hour, dinner music and throw a killer party. Sound engineer, lighting, cocktail hour, dinner and travel are included in all of our packages.

m perform, and then every single time since I continue to be awestruck by their talent, energy, and pure joy on stage. Half of our friends were familiar with the band and the other half were from out of town and had never seen them perform. Every single guest was on that dance floor for 4 hours. We were reminded several times that we did in fact have to stop dancing to eat dinner....
Our venue was outdoors, under a tent and the acoustics were perfect (shout out Suki). Beth played at least 6 different instruments (what?!?!?) They were so involved and interactive with us and our guests and the party. The whole band made my partner and I feel like celebrities while really they were the STARS of the night.
Bailey and Ellie were a dream to work with through so many big and little changes/logistics with venue(s) and prioritizing our dream night. I was incredibly impressed with how helpful they were with making it work with us and will forever be grateful.
By the end of the night the guests/crowd were chanting for "one or TEN more songs"!!! The out of town guests continue to ask me when The Femmes will be playing in Philly.
As a queer couple, it was so important to my partner and I to work with bad ass queer folks to both support our community and also to showcase the talent, love and joy that queers bring to this world every day.
I cannot recommend them enough, this night/experience will fill my heart and cup for probably forever!

At the wedding, The Femmes absolutely crushed it! The dance floor was full the whole time they were playing with wedding guests of all ages enjoying themselves.
They were great with communication in planning for the wedding, leading up to the big day, and especially during the reception. They checked in on timing and exact songs we wanted and when. They were super engaged with our guests while performing and genuinely seamed to be having a blast.
Could not recommend enough for a wedding or party of any kind!

Leading up to our wedding day they were communicative and organized which is so appreciated during the more stressful planning periods. On the day of the wedding they were flexible and kept things during the ceremony and reception running smoothly despite a rain delay that shifted the timing of the event.
