Alberton Orchards

First wedding at Alberton Orchards!! When my husband and I booked Alberton Orchards last fall for our July 2023 wedding, the venue was an already lovely outdoor space flanked by the Clark Fork River, rolling hills, and stunning greenery along with a beautiful barn, reception space with tent, and incredibly well constructed and modern cabins to stay in. All we needed to hear was that they were constructing their own boat ramp access to the Clark Fork River and we were sold. Over the next 6 months we witnessed the owners of Alberton Orchards absolutely transform this space into something magical. They installed modern bathrooms with showers and real flush toilets (a rarity for outdoor Montana venues), constructed a beautiful dance floor overlooking the river and illuminated with string lights, and created a stunning ceremony space with a modern rustic arch that needs no decor to stand out, its that beautiful on its own. The barn is new and modern, with gorgeous wide open doors to enjoy the breeze and gorgeous views of the river. As the first wedding at this venue, we fully expected some kinks and hiccups, however there were none. The whole weekend went seamlessly with the help of Alberton Orchards staff. Our bridal party stayed in the three amazing cabins (they're building more!) and glamping tents which were so comfortable and a perfect getting ready space. We enjoyed breakfast each morning on the deck of the Vintner Grill, and the groomsmen even got to float the river from Petty Creek to the venue while the girls got ready. The wedding itself went off without a hitch, and we received so many compliments on how stunning the whole space was. There are so so so many amazing spots to take photos at is almost impossible to choose and ours turned out better than I could've imagined with the perfect lighting in every spot throughout the day. We got to cap off our wedding weekend by packing up the next morning and floating the Alberton Gorge with our dearest friends. I am so overjoyed that we booked Alberton Orchards for our wedding, it perfectly matched our vision, immersed us in nature and in all Montana has to offer, and the staff and owners Christine and Steven were endlessly hardworking, helpful and accommodating. Truly was the wedding of our dreams and I cannot recommend this venue enough, it is exactly the venue the Missoula area needed and I am so excited for what is to come for Alberton Orchards

The venue itself is beautiful - along the river, in an orchard, and gorgeous forests border the property. The barn in which we had drinks and dancing was perfect, just enough class to make it ideal for a wedding, but nothing extravagant. The ceremony area is also nice - green grass lines the aisle and there is a large wood arch. Working with the venue owner was the difficult part of our experience. The beginning was rocky, with communication and expectations. As the wedding approached, the venue was neatly put together and the owner made sure we felt it looked nice about 1 month before the wedding itself. When the wedding came, we could tell garbage had not been picked up from the wedding 1 week prior and the barn had bird poop all over it. We had discussed this when we visited 1 month prior and thought the issue would be taken care of before our wedding weekend. Alas, it was the night of our rehearsal which was stressful and simply, not ideal. Along with our day-of coordinators, we had to ask the owner to follow through on clean up around the property, and ensure that our requests were actioned. It led to a chaotic set-up day for all. Aside from the wedding venue, there are glamping tents and cabins for guests to stay in. Our stay in a small remote cabin was lovely - magical and peaceful! The owner even made us breakfast the following morning and that was very kind, adding to the overall weekend.
