My passion for filmmaking started at a very young age, which ultimately led me to pursue a Cinema degree at San Francisco State University. Outside of college, I have gained a decade's worth of experience producing and crafting high-quality video for work and personal projects. I have experience working on music videos, corporate commercials, live concert events, and a couple of short films just to name a few. I'm excited to keep expanding on my career as a creative professional and continue to work with many new collaborators along the way!

The experience we had with Ryan was second to none. Throughout the whole process, Ryan was communicative, genuine, invested, curious and receptive. Ryan did a fantastic job working with the our photographer to ensure we got every part of our special day covered. Ryan was able to capture all of the beautiful moments of our wedding day, even down to the tiniest details. The end product of his work was spectacular, we look forward to watching our wedding video for the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend Ryan more highly.

My husband and I chose Ryan Pehrson as our videographer for our wedding in September 2024. We had such a positive experience and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a beautiful video thoughtfully created to reflect the most important day of your life. He took the time to walk us through his services and give us clear expectations of what to expect. He made not only myself but our wedding party, family, friends, and guests feel extremely comfortable. The communication over exceeded my expectations, bonus points as our wedding venue was located in a meadow where we were about an hour away from any kind of cell service. Ryan delivered a high quality video that we couldn't have been happier with and also stuck to the timeline for delivery that he gave us. You made our day complete and we appreciate your support and hard work. Thank you for celebrating with us on our wedding day and giving us such a special video reflecting an occasion we will always remember.

I recommend Ryan 100%. Saying that he and his team is amazing is an understatement. My wife and I felt completely comfortable around him our whole wedding day. Before the ceremony, Ryan was able to capture some BEAUTIFUL shots of me with my MoH and of me alone. I loved the direction he would give me when inspiration would strike him. He has a sharp eye for details and you can tell that he keeps the end result in mind. During the ceremony (specifically during the vows exchange) the wind picked up a bit and the mic we were using from the DJ kept going in and out. What blew my mind was that Ryan and his assistant had already mic’d up (attached microphones to) our hexagon arch that my wife and I stood in front of during the ceremony and it caught our vows perfectly with no audio dropping or noise! I was like, “when did you have time to do that! lol!”
The recap video that he created is sooo beautiful. The way he captured and edited our First Look will always put happy tears in my eyes. He captured our whole day perfectly including the details that I didn’t get a chance to see like our Memorial and guestbook table. It never felt like he was in the way, in fact, he actually told us to forget he’s there. He was able to really capture my wife and I and our day candidly. If you’re looking for a videographer, Ryan is the best choice.

Ryan was an absolute treasure to work with. He was on top of everything leading up to the wedding and super communicative the whole time. When it came to the big day, we were blown away by his friendliness, professionalism, and ability to catch all the big moments! I could not recommend him enough. If we weren't impressed enough, we got all of videos less than a week later from our wedding!

Ryan Pehrson is an amazing videographer! He filmed our ceremony and reception for us and not only wowed us with how quick he was but his editing skills were impressive. We were also so grateful that he go multiple angles of our ceremony, which helped us to see our bridal party standing with us and our guests during our ceremony. It's so amazing we got to (and forever get to) relive this beautiful day. If you are looking for a videographer for your wedding, do yourself a favor and book with Ryan! Ryan was professional, personable, and made us feel comfortable on our wedding day. He worked well with our photographer and was able to great shots without having to take extra time to re-stage. Where should I begin… how about the end? RYAN PEHRSON WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My wife and I were nervous about all aspects of our wedding, except for the videos. We had multiple conversations with Ryan about what we envisioned for an end product, as well as what moments were most important for us to make sure they were captured. He was great at taking suggestions as well as giving recommendations for shots my wife and I would have never thought of. Ryan wanted to help make our wedding the most beautiful and memorable day possible, and we have the videos to prove it! It was a joy working with him, and his videos have made all our friends and family extremely joyful. I can’t praise him enough!

Ryan was the videographer at our wedding. There are so many elements that go into the perfect wedding day, but I can speak for my wife and I in saying that hiring Ryan to do our videography was the best choice we made for our wedding. The video perfectly captures the entire day: the guests, the reception, the dancing, and even small details we didn't even know to ask for. Ryan was professional, a great communicator, and delivered us the best wedding gift of all- a video we can watch of our favorite day for years to come. You can't go wrong with this guy--he is awesome!

I’ll start by saying I wish there were more stars to give. Ryan is a true professional and highly skilled videographer. He shot our outdoor wedding in a semi-remote area, with all of his own equipment. He worked directly with our photographer and drone operator to stitch together his final package, which turned out amazing. Every moment (first look, ceremony, reception, etc.) was captured with clear audio, great lighting and seamless transitions. Ryan also managed to be practically invisible during our wedding, which was great as some vendors can be a little intrusive. When we watched the final product, we were so impressed with his work! We are so grateful to have these memories captured on video for the rest of our lives, and would recommend Ryan 10/10 every time!!

My husband and I were traveling across the country to celebrate our wedding with my family. We had no idea what to expect or who to hire. I can tell you that we made the right choice selecting Ryan as our videographer! He sat down with us over video chat and we discussed what we would like to see in our video. We got the video back and it's better than I imagined! Our day was absolutely perfect, and Ryan was part of that perfection. If you are looking for a videographer, I highly recommend Ryan! He even travels! :-)

Ryan was incredible. He was so easy to work with, accommodated all my requests, and made the actual wedding day relaxed. He took cues from our photographer so we didn’t have to keep posing in different positions/settings. At some point my husband and I realized that we had forgotten they were all there. That exactly what we wanted, just someone there to celebrate with us and capture our special moments. Thankfully that’s what Ryan gave us. If you’re looking for a candid, natural feel, go with Ryan!

My husband and I are so happy with the work that Ryan did for our wedding!
I knew from the moment we got engaged what I had envisioned for our wedding video and Ryan more than delivered our dream.
The whole experience was an easy and pleasant process. We had multiple conversations leading up to our wedding, and he was just as excited as we were during them.
He had recently been through his own wedding so he had a first hand experience of all that needed to go into an awesome recap video. Day off, he had a clear idea of what he needed to catch on film from a creative standpoint. And with all the hustle and bustle that was going on, he was able to handle all our requests and were great at giving instructions to get the best shots. We also had tons of guests tell us how kind and professional he was.
I’ve also heard that it could take months to get wedding videos, so we were pleasantly surprised when we got ours shortly after returning from the honeymoon. This was a fantastic experience working with him and his team, and they are obviously passionate about their work. Out of all the people we had to hire for our wedding, Rype Video was the one vendor we never had to worry about.

Ryan is the most talented videographer I have ever seen. His video of our wedding is the most precious memento I have from our special day. Ryan is passionate, talented, and amazing with people. My guests were raving about how fun and engaged he was the entire day. He listened to our vision, and over delivered. His video made us laugh and cry, and captured not only the big moments, but special little moments that will now be with us forever. Where do we start?! Ryan is a professional, talented and thoughtful videographer. Prior to our big day he made sure to come to the venue and prepare to ensure he captured all of our important moments. He made sure to connect with our photographer prior to our wedding day as well to make sure they each got the shots they needed. Such a professional! He even came to the rehearsal to prepare. The way that he was able to capture our special day and bring it back to life was incredible. The video is such great quality and I still watch it all the time. We are so lucky we had the opportunity to work with Ryan. HIGHLY recommend!
