About this vendor
At Refract Photography, we always strive to get to know our wedding photography clients at an individual level and have fun while working together to execute our shared vision. We are based in Greater Washington, DC, but we will gladly travel wherever there is a beautiful moment to document.
We seek to invoke happy memories in everyone who views our photos. The feeling when glancing upon a photo transports the mind back to the moment it was captured and all the joy and love felt that day. Photos are the tangible manifestation of our memories and become invaluable as we age. Refract Photography aims to record, preserve, and provide this feeling for others. We use a thoughtful, unobtrusive approach that allows us to tell the authentic story of an event with minimal posing or interference. So let’s get out there, have some fun, and capture some memories while we’re at it! We hope we get to work with YOU very soon!

If you are looking for a photographer, look no further, Will is your guy! He has the unprecedented ability to be professional, while making you feel extremely comfortable on one of...
the most emotional days of your life. His constant encouragement, calm demeanor, communication and attention to detail alongside his talents is what makes Will the best in the business! He has the ability to see beauty where others may miss it, he found hidden gem locations for our first look and golden hour photos that turned out INCREDIBLE! He is a gifted man, not only with his craft as a photographer but who he is as a person and his ability to immediately connect with everyone he meets. He went above and beyond to make it such a special day for us, and put a great deal of love, effort and time into the final product - which we couldn't be more thrilled about. The photos speak for themselves, but more importantly to us are the positive life lasting memories he provided for not only us but our entire wedding party. We can't thank him enough for making our big day so special!
Will was extremely helpful with our wedding photo shoot. He paid attention to details, was very efficient, and even drove us to the different spots to get the best shots. He had it...
all mapped out with great locations which really made the whole day that much easier. Even though it was a rainy day, the photos turned out absolutely amazing and we will definitely be using him again for future needs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
