Jessica Schaeffer, Harpist

We hired Jessica to play the harp at our wedding a few weekends ago in Morganton, NC. Jessica was very pleasant and professional to work with from start to finish. You could tell just by speaking to her she has a true passion for what she does and is skilled. She played songs starting 30 minutes before the ceremony, during the ceremony, and for an hour during cocktail hour after the ceremony. She was on time and prepared. The guests were amazed with her talent and have mentioned many times how neat it was to have her there. She was definitely one of the stars of the show! I would highly recommend her for live music at any occasion.

My husband and I were so impressed with Jessica and Mari’s performance at our wedding. The blissful atmosphere they created was exactly what we had envisioned, and the music they chose felt so thoughtful and true to who we are as a couple. During our portraits before the ceremony, we heard their harp and violin warming up in the distance. We looked at each other with the biggest smiles, both of us knowing in that moment just how magical the music was about to be. And it truly was. Jessica and Mari are exceptionally talented, the blend of harp and violin was absolutely stunning. Our guests are still talking about how lovely the music was and how elevated it made the entire experience feel. Jessica was also wonderful to work with - professional, responsive, and flexible with our song choices, even when we finalized selections close to our wedding date. She listened to the vision we shared and offered thoughtful recommendations that helped bring everything to life.
