What can I say about these women. They saved the day! Jessica and Issa were both wonderful to work with on the coordination of everything leading up to the day. My day of hair (Justine) was so professional and purposeful with me and every one of my 6 bridesmaids. For makeup (Katie) we all felt so at ease to talk with and make sure everyone’s vision came to life – especially coming from a group of gals who generally don’t wear a lot of makeup. The biggest spiral I had about my wedding was over the hair extensions I was going to use. They needed to be toned, and I had thought the best thing to do would be to bring them to my hairstylist for 8 years and have her tone them for me, no one knows my hair like she does. But a week before the wedding when I got the extensions back, I realized I had made a massive mistake. The extensions were colored incorrectly and while the color matched now the balayage effect was gone and the root color was taken far too long so it no longer matched with my hair. I had resolved to myself that I had unfortunately just wasted the money on the extensions and that I would not be using them at the wedding. When I reached out to Issa, she jumped right in and talked with Jessica to see what they could do to save them. After 3 days of Jessica working her magic on these extensions I am not exaggerating when I say they were PERFECT. The blonde was back to lining up with my hair, the colors were right, everything was perfect. Jessica didn’t have to go through all that work, it was clearly on me for taking them somewhere else and I accepted that, but she was so determined to see if there was anything she could do and I am beyond grateful that she did.

eautiful for my wedding. I picked my hair/make-up based on price and availably. GHG was the fastest team to reply to my estimate request and provided the lowest estimate. Their website is the most transparent website I reviewed. They list everything there- The whole process, price, policies, everything. These ladies are professional and pleasant. They were my rocks on the morning of my wedding. They were my cheerleaders. They did anything and everything beauty related. Justine did hair and she was fantastic. We had a variety of styles from high buns to half-up half-down. Everyone was polished and stayed in place all day. My sister had a high bun done at 11am and it stayed perfect until 9pm. Issa did make-up. She costs extra and it’s worth it. My make-up did not move. I rubbed my face and no shedding. I don’t wear make-up daily and she made it feel like I wasn’t wearing make-up. She reeks of professionalism and class. She is organized, she is a great communicator, she is everything. I will recommend them to everyone. I will never look for another artist while they are in business. Of all my vendors, they were the best. You can stop looking and just book them.

Everything was on time if not early and they were even prepared with a speaker for music in the getting ready room which I forgot! of hair or makeup done for the day of the wedding with varying hair types and skin features which did not have a single problem. It was really easy to figure out how to work with them for the size of wedding party I had, but easily could have worked with a smaller party too. They both had incredible talent with all of us looking wonderful! They also brought amazing energy to the room the whole morning. There was great communication for arriving at the place, a lot of energy in the morning, and a nice calming presence to help me keep away the day of jitters. You could tell that this was something they love to do. These guys also were very good about listing to exactly what I was looking for with my day of look. I wanted a look that embraced my natural curly hair and makeup that wasn’t too much and still make me feel like me which they did flawlessly. The trial I did with them had a lot of open communication for what I was looking for and what they would need to do for that and how to prepare for the big day and the day of look matched it so well! I am really happy working with Gypsy Hair Guru and would choose them again any time.
