Where do we even begin?! Cat is an absolute superstar — and with her amazing fiancé Jordan by her side, they are the ultimate wedding-day dream team.
From day one, Cat was organized, creative, and totally on top of everything. She somehow managed to take our vision and elevate it beyond anything we could have imagined. She made planning feel exciting instead of overwhelming (which is basically a superpower).
And on the wedding day? ICONIC. Cat was everywhere at once — fluffing dresses, cueing music, coordinating vendors, keeping us on schedule — all while staying calm, cool, and smiling. If there were any hiccups, we have zero clue because she handled it all like a pro.
And Jordan deserves a huge shoutout too! He jumped in wherever needed, helped keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and brought such a positive, steady energy to the day. Watching the two of them work together was honestly impressive — you can tell they make an incredible team in every way.
Because of Cat and Jordan, we were able to fully relax, soak in every moment, and actually enjoy our wedding day without worrying about a single detail. That’s priceless.

The most valuable person on our wedding day, hands down. Cat handled EVERYTHING. Between family issues, details I didn’t think of, my sudden changes day of, and making sure our day was as seamless and stress free as possible, Cat was incredible. We went back and forth on whether we wanted to pay for a wedding planner but Cat was worth every penny and more. Our special day would not have gone so perfectly without her!

I have loved weddings and planning parties for as long as I can remember. Over the last few years, I’ve had the opportunity to host and plan bridal and baby showers as well as weddings for those closest to me. I truly believe life is meant to be celebrated, not just lived.
Event Productions by Cat is excited to travel wherever planning your dream wedding takes us. Officially established as an LLC in 2023, this business has been my dream career for many years. From Day of Coordination to Full Planning Services, I would love to support you in this exciting season of life.

- Cat Murphy-SpeareOwnerFirst of all, I am so excited you’re here! A few things about me: I have three cats, am an auntie to some awesome kiddos, and have a BS in biology. I love animals, home decor, LEGO, and DIY projects! After finishing my degree in biology, I worked in a couple of laboratories where detail is everything. After realizing I needed a change for my mental health, I transitioned from the lab to the service industry where I thrived helping people celebrate life everyday. These days, I work full time for Development Homes Inc in gaming as a blackjack dealer in addition to working with clients to create incredible wedding days! Creating beautiful and stress-free events is my dream career and I would love to be a part of your big day!
