I wish I could give them venue 100/100 stars. We live out of state and from my very first correspondence with Marie she was wonderful. She let me set up a meeting for one of our friends to go and do a FaceTime tour for us. We knew instantly this was our venue. We booked right away. A few months later we flew in to see it in person. Pictures and FaceTime don’t do it justice. It was so magical. Throughout the entire process Marie and Jason have been so helpful, accommodating, kind, and wonderful. They’ve been extremely responsive if we had any questions and they worked with us to accommodate all of our wedding day dreams. From set up to breakdown and everything in between they were very involved and helpful. Wedding day was more than u could’ve ever dreamed. It really was a magical fairytale. Rain or shine this venue is stunning. It rained in our day and I wasn’t even upset because I knew it would still be an incredible day. Our guests were in awe of the venue. They were also so pleasantly surprised to meet and talk with Marie and Jason and hear their story. If you’re even considering booking this venue for any event, I encourage you to absolutely do it. No matter what type of event you hold here, it will be beyond incredible. I promise. If I could book this day over again, I would absolutely book this venue a thousand times over. It truly was the best day of our lives and more wonderful than we could’ve ever anticipated. We are so grateful to them for everything, to this stunning venue, and we hope to have the opportunity to return one day! Book CRL!

Cherry Runn Lodge is an enchanting wedding venue in Homer City, PA, tucked away in a haven of magical woodland and serene natural surroundings. Towering pine trees and beautifully landscaped grounds surround this elegant lodge venue. It offers an idyllic destination for romantic weddings in nature. Cherry Runn Lodge was originally built in 1923 for the Rochester and Pittsburgh Coal Co. It served as a campground for company executives and their families. The Buggey family has owned this breathtaking venue for decades. It has served a variety of purposes and has undergone multiple renovations. Today, Jason Buggey and his wife Marie invite couples to celebrate their love within this serene setting. The lodge and its 22 acres of breathtaking grounds welcome weddings of up to 300 guests. The Lodge is the original ceremony and reception space. It accommodates 120 guests, offering a quaint, intimate woodland setting. Multiple windows overlook the ancient trees, and natural light illuminates your celebrations. The Eagles Nest is the newest addition. This 6,000-square-foot outdoor deck sits perched high on stilts, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. It welcomes celebrations of up to 300 people. The Barn is a fabulous ceremony space, offering a rustic yet elegant location to exchange your vows. Weather permitting, couples can host their ceremony outdoors on the venue’s beautifully manicured plots. Cherry Runn Lodge offers weekend wedding rentals. Couples can use the venue for five hours on Friday to accommodate setup and rehearsals. Wedding celebrations take place on Saturdays, and a 14-hour rental is available. Two hours on Sunday are allocated to allow couples to pick up their equipment and decor. The venue provides all necessary event setup items, such as tables and chairs. Linens, chair covers, outdoor heaters, and more are available upon request. Cherry Runn Lodge provides bartending services, and external suppliers and caterers are welcome. A beautifully decorated Bridal Cabin provides an inviting space for pre-ceremony preparations. The venue staff are delighted to offer limo golf cart transportation for the happy couple, allowing them to make a unique entrance at their reception. he most - and this was the most perfect space for it that we could’ve found. Marie and Jason have a BEAUTIFUL venue! Jason built most of it himself, and the place feels like the love that was put into the making of it. Surrounded by the beauty of the woods, peaceful, ambient and magical. They are really just the best people - accommodating and helpful from start to finish, great hosts on the wedding day itself who felt more like extended family who we were happy to have there.   To anyone looking to host their wedding here - you couldn’t be in better hands or find a more special place. Marie and Jason, we love and appreciate you guys - you and this place will always have a special place in our hearts.

ason are absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond to make our day special. They were on top of everything, very well organized, friendly and did so much for us we are beyond grateful.  The day was everything we could have hoped for! The venue is gorgeous, many guests commented about how beautiful it was. There were so many locations for gorgeous photos all over the grounds and Jason even took us out to a couple locations. Marie and Jason truly have a passion and you can tell they put so much love and care into Cherry Runn Lodge. It might be a bit out of the way but it is truly worth it to take a look!

tions I needed answered. I had a very large wedding and they made sure everything was seamless. Jason is so wonderful as well. He has a true talent for woodworking and made the ceremony doors that I walked through since I got married at the barn. They also were at the venue for rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and ALL day for the wedding, and came back so we could get our things on Sunday. I had my dream wedding because of Marie & Jason at Cherry Runn Lodge. The property is absolutely magical. I would do it all over again the exact same way. BOOK WITH THEM, you WILL NOT regret it!

They exceeded expectations during planning and on the wedding day to ensure that every detail was executed as envisioned. Thanks to their efforts, a day-of coordinator wasn't needed because they handled everything a hired coordinator would at a wedding reception. The bridal party enjoyed getting ready at the lodge that morning. The bridal cabin added a special touch to the photos – cozy and cute! We booked the Eagles Nest wasand it was perfect. This outdoor space offers a panoramic view of the property, including frequent eagle sightings. It provided a beautiful backdrop and made the reception extra special. Thank you, Marie and Jason, and all the staff at Cherry Runn Lodge, for making the wedding day the best- we can’t thank you all enough!

They are very personable and made us feel almost like family. The venue itself is very beautiful and we were able to have the ceremony outdoors on the deck/pavillion in early November. The reception was held inside with a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace, but also room for dancing. We can't say enough about how pleased we were with everything and highly recommend Cherry Runn Lodge.

to work with—so accommodating during our visits and throughout the planning process. The lodge has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and our pictures turned out stunning, thanks to all the care and effort put into maintaining the grounds. I have recommended and will continue to recommend the lodge for weddings because of the incredible experience we had. Being able to hire bartenders directly through the lodge was a huge relief, and Faith and Adam were absolutely wonderful to work with.
