The Farm 1893 is a beautiful wedding venue located in Berlin Heights, OH. Just minutes from Lake Erie, local attractions include Kelley's Island, Put-In-Bay, Cedar Point, and many charming wineries. The venue is an hour west of Cleveland, east of Toledo, and just under two hours north of Columbus.
Nestled in the heart of scenic farmland, The Farm 1893 offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance and is ideal for couples seeking a stress-free and memorable wedding experience. Celebrate with the people you love over an ENTIRE WEEKEND. Our wedding package includes overnight accommodations for 16 guests in four loft-style grain bins on the property.
Because every bride deserves a space as grand as her big day—getting ready with your bridal party makes memories as unforgettable as the wedding itself. Adjacent to the venue, our Bridal Barn provides hair and makeup stations, a dress display area, a lounge area, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette. This loft-style barn also offers overnight accommodations for 4+ guests.
Our weekend package provides exclusive access from Friday at 3:00 PM until Sunday at 11:00 AM, so you and your guests can truly relax and immerse yourselves in the experience. The Farm 1893 invites couples to host their rehearsal dinner, ceremony (indoors, outdoors on the lawn, or on the covered porch), cocktail hour, and reception all in one place.
The venue includes modern amenities such as year-round comfort of air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter, along with a spacious prep kitchen, easily accessible to caterers. Also featured is a bar, accessible from inside the venue and, weather permitting, outside on the covered porches. Cafe-style tables line the covered side porch, offering a stunning view of the sunset.
Also featured as part of the wedding package are round reception tables, rectangular tables for the bridal party and catering, and stylish farmhouse cross-back chairs.

Our story is deeply rooted in the land, where tradition and transformation come together. Walt grew up on a farm that had been in his family for generations. The farm was once a thriving apple orchard, a place where the rhythms of the seasons and the hard work of the land shaped the daily life of the family. Over the years, however, the family business shut down, and the orchard was left dormant, its rich history fading with time. In December of 2019, we had the opportunity to purchase the property from the family—a full-circle moment that felt both nostalgic and full of promise. What was once a beloved family farm now had the chance to be reborn, and we set out with a vision: to transform this beautiful piece of land into a place where new memories could be made, where the spirit of family and celebration would live on. With a lot of heart and hard work, we completely reimagined the property, turning it into a stunning wedding and gathering venue. From the original orchard to the lush grounds, every corner of the property now serves as a backdrop for unforgettable moments. Whether it's a couple saying "I do" under the shade of an old tree, or families gathering to celebrate life's milestones, we’ve created a space where joy, love, and community can thrive. This is a place where the past meets the present, where the legacy of the land continues through every event and every celebration.
