Hello, My name is Christopher T. Lambdin, but most people know me as Chris. My passion for photography began when I was a teenager after my dad bought me my first Canon SLR camera. During high school, I had the opportunity to take a photography class, where I learned the fundamentals of photography and how to work with a camera lens effectively. Over the years, photography has evolved tremendously—from film to digital, from RAW and DNG formats to the powerful cameras found in today's smartphones. While the technology continues to change, the core principles of photography remain the same. What I enjoy most is capturing life's meaningful moments so people can look back on them and relive those memories for years to come. The idea for Misfit's Photography came about one evening while my partner and I were sitting at a friend's house discussing what to call our brand. We wanted a name that reflected our style and highlighted what makes us different from every other photographer in the industry. Then our friend said it: "Misfit's Photography." The name instantly resonated with us, and from that moment, our journey began. In January 2025, we officially registered Misfit's Photography as an LLC, and since then, we have been fully committed to growing our business. Like any new venture, there have been challenges and learning experiences along the way. However, every day presents a new opportunity to learn, improve, and grow. Whether the lessons are good or bad, each one makes us wiser and better prepared for the future. I strongly believe that every client should feel valued and appreciated. Our approach may not be for everyone, which is why we offer consultations before every session. These consultations allow us to ensure that we can create the look and style you envision while also making sure you enjoy the entire experience. Our goal is for every client to walk away not only with beautiful images but also with a service and final product that we created together.
