My name is Derek, and I've proudly called Brown County, Indiana, home for more than 20 years. For 13 years, I owned and operated Rawhide Ranch USA, where I helped host, coordinate, and facilitate numerous weddings and celebrations, ranging from intimate gatherings of 15 guests to larger events with more than 200 attendees. Through those experiences, I gained an appreciation for everything that goes into creating a successful wedding day, from coordinating with vendors and managing timelines to making sure couples feel comfortable and confident. After having the honor of officiating a family member's wedding, I discovered how rewarding it was to play such a personal role in one of life's most meaningful celebrations. That experience led to officiating additional ceremonies for family and friends and ultimately inspired me to establish Brown County Ceremonies.
