I worked with The Powder Room for hair and makeup for my wedding and loved how it turned out! Ashley did both my mom’s and my hair and makeup. She was on time, listened to what we were looking for, and everything turned out great. I would recommend The Powder Room to other brides!

I cannot say enough good things about them, the price point is excellent for the area, they were so nice and responsive (even after I changed my numbers a few times and tacked on extra VERY last minute!). They came to my venue, were so nice and personable, they were on time, and we had such a nice time. I worked with Heather for my hair and makeup as the bride and she is the best! All of my girls looked amazing, and we all had nothing but great things to say! My hair and makeup lasted all day and night and it was just such an all around great experience. I highly, highly recommend her and the Powder Room!

DeeAnna and her team were fantastic! I did a preview with DeeAnna and she nailed the look I was going for and was able to make recommendations that suited my hair better and guide me along the way. She was super receptive to any changes or requests and asked for my thoughts consistently along the way, although I didn't really have any complaints :) They were also very flexible with adjusting the number of stylists needed to accommodate more services when it turned out a lot more of my bridal party wanted their makeup done than I'd originally booked. On the day of they got through full looks for me, my mom, and 6 bridesmaids quickly and on time for the photographer, and everyone loved their hair and makeup!

Ashley and Cheri made my bridesmaids and I look beautiful on my wedding day. They listened to what we wanted and put in the extra effort. They worked efficiently and got us ready on time. Ashley and I had a fun time chatting and getting to know eachother during the trial, which made me feel comfortable leading up to the wedding day. Highly recommend them!

I worked with Jenifer for my wedding day look and was very pleased with how my hair and makeup turned out in the end. The trial wasn't perfect, but after calling Jenifer to talk through some of my concerns, she put my mind at ease that we'd get it right on wedding day. She was right! A few friends and family members joined me at the salon for a few services so we essentially had a run of the place for a few hours one Saturday morning. Appreciated The Powder Room catering to our reservations, but it was definitely no frills given the money we spent there that morning. I would have been nice to have some fun wedding-themed music playing or some type of special set-up for our group, so if you're looking for that type of experience with your bridal party, plan on creating it yourself. Overall, though, everyone was happy with their services and I truly loved the look Jenifer created for me.

DeeAnna was amazing to work with for my wedding! She did hair for me and the ladies in my bridal party, and everyone felt so beautiful. I was also incredibly impressed with how my hair stayed perfect the entire night! From start to finish, DeeAnna was so professional and kind. Highly recommend!

DeeAnna and team were absolute rockstars at our wedding! From the quote, to the trial, to the touch up- I felt very at ease the entire process. DeeAnna and her team were ready promptly at 8am and I believe were out of there at 11/1130 for 11 of us. I worked directly with DeeAnna- she was professional, took feedback gracefully and was an advocate with my bridal party/family to help follow what I wanted. She was so calming during the touch up too and made me feel very special!

Adriana from The Powder Room did an excellent job for hair and makeup for our wedding! I did a trial a few weeks before the wedding to review makeup and different hairstyles. We tried a few different hairstyles to see what would work best for me. On the day of the wedding, she did my hair and makeup and hair and makeup for 3 others. She was very flexible adding a service and helped everyone look their best! I would highly recommend them.

Santa Rosa Powder room was so sweet to work with for my wedding. I had to postpone from June 2020 to March 2022 and they were so flexible and kind the whole time. Ashley and her team were amazing. I opted for the elopement package (no trial), which felt risky, but I have no regrets – everything looked amazing and just like the inspiration pictures I showed. I texted Ashley a few weeks before the wedding with a photo of myself to see what lipstick color she would recommend– she suggested Charlotte Tillbury Pillow Talk and it was so perfect, I am so impressed she was able to match it so well, even just from a photo. They helped me, my bridal party, mom, mother-in-law, and sister-in-laws all get ready with hair & makeup for the big day and we had so much fun chatting with them. We all felt so beautiful and confident and the pictures looked amazing.

Absolutely loved them. They were so efficient, professional, and kind! Thank you for your flexibility as we postponed our reception more than once!!! It was amazing!

The Powder Room was recommended to us by our planner. We had the BEST experience with DeeAnna and the team. They were so accommodating with COVID changes, and made us look absolutely beautiful on the wedding day. HIGHLY recommend!!

DeeAnna and her team are amazing! They did such an incredible job with the hair and makeup for my wedding. They traveled to our Airbnb which made it so easy on the day. I also highly recommend doing the bridal hair and makeup trial as I wasn't fully sure what I wanted and ended up tweaking a couple things on the day-of. In addition to my bridesmaids, they also did hair and makeup for my sister-in-law, my mom, and a number of my mom's friends who wanted to try it out. Some came armed with inspiration photos and others just asked them to do whatever they thought would look best. Everyone was so happy with the results! DeeAnna wasn't phased by the different ages, hair lengths, style choices, or skin tones of those involved - we were all very impressed. My sister-in-law has been in a lot of weddings and has had mediocre hair/makeup done many times but said that DeeAnna was really one of the best experiences she's had. Our hair and makeup looked great all night! It was a warm day and all I had to do was dab on a little bit of powder once or twice throughout the night if I thought I was getting shiny. I can't recommend The Powder Room enough!

Amazing hair & makeup! Process for booking them was a little less organized, but they were reliable and I was very happy with the end result!

My husband and I had our wedding at the end of July and The Powder Room was able to do my bridal hair and makeup along with my 4 bridesmaids, our officiant, MOB, MOG, & SMOG. We had 3 stylists which was perfect for our size party. We were not rushing to get the venue because everyone was done before we needed to leave. Pre-COVID we had a different stylist but DeeAnn was able to give me a new trail and ended up being much more my style. She was so professional and made me feel calm on the day of. I felt so beautiful and got so many compliments on how amazing both my hair and makeup was.

I’m so happy we had the team from Powder Room doing our hair and makeup. My stylist was Adrianna, and she was wonderful! The team is also professional, on time, and thy were able to finish makeup for six bridesmaids, two mothers, and a bride ahead of schedule. My makeup was pristine for the whole wedding. The Powder Room was accommodating, responsive, and truly a pleasure to work with! After some initial panic after my hair and makeup trial, The Powder Room worked with me to schedule a second trial and ultimately achieved my wedding day vision perfectly. Corrine is a rockstar and I couldn't be happier with the final results.

Jenifer was AMAZING! I did my trial in May, and she took all of my notes and made my day of hair and makeup even more beautiful. I wanted to feel natural (with a touch of glam), and she made sure everything was perfect. On top of that, she was great to work with, and she helped calm my nerves a bit in the hours leading up to the ceremony! I highly recommend Jenifer!

Although my makeup turned out fine in photos, the makeup artist, Asheley, startled me the day of my wedding, when she neglected to look at any of the notes I gave her on my makeup 2 weeks before. In February 2019, I came into the Powder Room for a 2 hr hair and makeup consult and after speaking with Asheley re: colors and styles, she did my hair and makeup and I gave her feedback on what I liked and didn't like. Fast forward to early July before my late July wedding, I had a 30 min phone call with Asheley, emphasizing my feedback on how I felt the H & M she did was too dark and the curls were too tight and heavy, etc. Fast forward to my wedding day, and she failed to take any of my feedback into consideration and just replicated my H & M from our February consult, that I had repeatedly stated was too dark, too heavy and just was not me. I was shocked and at that point, only had 10 min until my photographer showed up to take pictures and follow me to my wedding venue. My hair looked like something from a debutante ball, huge and teased and far from the beachy loose waves I asked for, and I almost cried right then and there. I definitely cried a lot after getting my photos back. I am disappointed in the lack of professionalism Asheley had and how put out she acted when I asked if she could lighten my lip color before she left. She was almost silent for the 2+ hrs she was with me and my family on the wedding day, only speaking up to ask how long it would take her to drive out of Stinson Beach--just generally acting like she did not want to be there. She completely disregarded my notes, even after stating she wanted to make everything "perfect" for my special day. To top it all off--she gave my mom a PURPLE lip color as if that was ok and natural, also disregarding the notes I had emailed her about my mom's day-of look. Would not recommend, not worth the price, and likely to put a major damper on your special day.

AMAZING!!! I was transformed from looking like night of the living dead to the bride of my dreams. My hair is very difficult and Mary spun it into gold. She brought a team member with her and did makeup and hair for women, young woman and little girls ages 73 to 5. Mary gave everyone the look they wanted; no one got a cookie cutter look and she was having fun with us. During my trial run, she accommodated me and went 50 miles out of her way to meet me when I missed an appointment! I am going back to Mary for makeup for makeup and hair for a professional event. She is a STAR!! WONDERFUL!!!!

I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful our experience was with Deanna and her team from the powder room. Deanna and Alicia came to do wedding makeup and hair for me, my mom, mother in law and makeup for all my bridesmaids. They were so kind and helpful with making the girls feel comfortable and themselves! My hair and makeup was EXACTLY what I wanted and imagined for my special day. I can’t thank these very talented women enough! I would highly recommend the Powder Room and especially Deanna and Alicia!

Heather and her crew came to our venue and did a beautiful job on the hair and makeup of me, my mom, and all of my bridesmaids. So easy to work with and everyone's hair came out exactly like the pictures they showed. Cannot rave enough!!!

DeeAnna is freaking hair and make-up wizard. I went in for a trial a few months before the wedding and then changed my mind (of course), so I was a little nervous about going a different direction on my wedding day. DeeAnna totally nailed it and I felt ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. Highly, highly recommended!

Heather was amazing! She did my hair and makeup for the rehearsal dinner and wedding, and Heather and her assistant did hair and makeup for 5 bridesmaids as well. I looked like a beautiful princess - she made me look exactly how I wanted and more! She was chatty and easy to work with and helped me relax on the big day. She even came in on her day off to do the trial when I had to reschedule due to a funeral. I would highly recommend the Powder Room!!

I eloped in August of 2018 and was not able to have a trial. I read reviews, looked at photos, and contacted several salons and artists. I don’t know anyone in CA, so finding someone to fix my hair on the most important day was scary for me. Jenifer is great. I have had my hair styled for many events and I was so thrilled with the gorgeous vintage look. I gave her a photo I found on line. I have long hair and I wanted to wear it down with curls. In my opinion my hair looked better than the photo. My hair looked absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. Thanks, Jennifer.

DeeAnna transformed me into a goddess! My makeup was absolutely stunning, I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life. I was super nervous booking hair and makeup for my destination wedding since I wasn't going to be able to do a trial until the day before. I had a wonderful experience at the Powder Room for my bridal hair and makeup. The wedding coordinator was extremely professional and accommodating in not only fitting me into their already busy schedule with only a two month notice, but also when I needed to change the time of my appointment for the day of our wedding. At the Powder Room I had the pleasure of working with Corrinne. When we first met for my trial we discussed my dress, my likes and dislikes, and went over a few photos that I had brought along. Then she worked her magic. In just under two hours Corrinne had taken my hair and makeup vision and made it into a reality. The wedding day was even easier and I couldn’t have been happier; she definitely exceeded my expectations. Corrinne is incredibly professional, easy to talk to, and fun to work with! Overall, my experience at the Powder Room was incredibly positive and I am grateful for all the hard work that went into making our wedding day even more special!

DeeAnna and her team were the absolute best. When I first went in for my makeup trial, she listened to exactly what I wanted and brought that vision to life so well. The day of the wedding, she and her team did such an incredible job on everyone. Even my mom, who never wears much makeup, was over the moon! It's A Date at the Powder Room is incredible! For a destination wedding, it can be scary to commit to a hair and make up team for your big day. After plenty of research online, I found It's A Date at the Powder Room. I was drawn to their work as the brides and bridal parties look naturally gorgeous. I was unable to have a hair and make up trial. The team arrived promptly on the big day. Everyone looked fabulous. Our hair and make up lasted well into the next day. Everyone looked perfect! My bridal party looked stunning. I could not have been more pleased! I highly recommend!!

Mary Donaghy from the Powder room did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and I have never felt more beautiful! She was able to put into actions ideas I had in my head that I couldn't quite articulate. I wanted a more natural look and I'm not used to wearing a lot of makeup and Mary was able to apply everything in a way that made sure I still felt like myself. I wanted some fresh flowers incorporated into my hair and she did the morning of impromptu in such a beautiful way. She and another stylist came to our location and did not only my hair/makeup but my four bridesmaids and my mom and mother-in-law. They were so sweet and fun and everyone looked gorgeous! So glad I got to have Mary make the special day even more special!

Heather Romero and her team did my wedding makeup and hair for me and my bridesmaids, moms, and aunts for our August 2017 wedding and we all loved how it turned out! I did my trial a few months earlier in which Heather really put me at ease and came up with a great bridal look for me based on my inspiration images. I don't (and neither does my bridal party) wear a lot of makeup, so I was concerned I would look overly done up. I was pleasantly surprised that I still felt natural, (like I could still see my own skin through the foundation) yet with some nice added drama for photos. They also showed up on time ready to roll and got done a few minutes ahead of schedule which was awesome. Thank you Heather and team!

Heather did the hair and make up for my wedding day- and she did an excellent job. She took the feedback from my trial, and adapted it perfectly to my wedding day. She and her partner showed up early, and got through 6 bridesmaids, 1 mother of the bride, and me in just over 2.5 hours! They were speedy, but made sure each and everyone of us were happy with what we had. When one of my bridesmaids expressed some concern over her hair, Heather jumped right in and made sure that she was happy. Everyone's makeup looked great, and stayed on all night!

Elyse was amazing. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day!!! From the beginning, I couldn't have been happier with the service that I received! When I had to last minute reschedule my hair and make-up trial - she was incredibly flexible. Then, when I showed up for the trial, she made me feel so special and was incredibly attentive. I wanted to go for a natural look - but be my prettiest self, and she nailed it. She also helped me articulate what I really wanted - I wanted my hair to look soft but elegant, and my make-up to be appropriate for an outdoor wedding, but still something a little bit more dramatic than my normal minimal make-up look. Then - the best was the wedding. Elyse and her assistant did hair and make-up for me, my 2 sisters, my mom, and my husband's mom. I knew she was going to make me look and feel beautiful, but I couldn't believe how stunning everyone in my family looked - and how confident we all felt! Elyse was incredible with listening to the look that everyone wanted and then pulling out the perfect shades from her toolkit for all. I can't speak highly enough of her work!

We used The Powder Room for hair and make up for the bridal party. It was a great experience because they came to the hotel and did everything right in my room. It was very convenient, and I think they did a wonderful job on hair and make-up. All the bridesmaids and Moms seemed happy with the outcome. The only draw back is that they seemed pricier than the other salons. I would recommend them to any other bride looking to get their hair and make-up done for the wedding day.

It’s A Date did a great job for me, my mom, and my three bridesmaids. Jenifer was fun to work worth and knew how to make us all look beautiful. They were fast and flawless. I felt great and I know my mom did, who was worried that her short hair would be a problem. It was fun to have them come onsite where we were getting ready.

I was an out-of-town bride so finding the right person to do my hair and make up was posing a bit of a challenge (the search was so rough at one point that I even thought of just doing my own!). I finally stumbled across The Powder Room's reviews and was sold - best decision! My stylist was Carrie who is incredible. She scheduled my trial on a day she doesn't normally work to accommodate my hectic schedule. During my trial, we sat and talked the entire time as if we were just two girlfriends enjoying coffee together - sweetest make up artist ever! I showed her only two pictures and described my make up look as 'Me, but enhanced'. She nailed it!! Completely understood everything I wanted and went above and beyond to make me look perfect. Come wedding day, she arrived early to our wedding location, had everything set up and waiting for me when I came in (totally late), she helped me relax, made me laugh, made me look and feel SO beautiful. She even endured a bridesmaidzilla moment from one of my girls and took it like a total champ. She cared more about me and my stress levels than she did about herself. She was a god send and even text me the next day to hear how the wedding went. Best part? My now husband bawled when he saw me - all he kept saying was "you look absolutely gorgeous". Thanks Carrie!

DeeAnna and her team are absolutely AMAZING! I went to The Powder Room a couple of months before my wedding not entirely sure what I wanted to do, and I gave DeeAnna freedom to do whatever she thought. She made me feel absolutely beautiful handling both my hair and makeup. She knows exactly what she is doing, and can trust her entirely. On the day of the wedding, she brought along a team of 3 other women to handle hair and makeup for 12 of us and everyone looked GORGEOUS and we were all finished in about 2.5 hours - that's fast! I can't say enough amazing things about DeeAnna and her team. Any bride will be more than happy with this decision!

DeeAnna was amazing the day of my wedding. I opted to not do a trial for hair or makeup so I knew I was taking a big risk going in on my wedding day. But everything was exactly what I wanted. I briefly told DeeAnna what I wanted and she did her magic. Her and her assistant worked on me and my 4 bridesmaids. They were efficient and stayed on schedule. Everyone looked beautiful. They were also so nice and fun. I would highly recommend them. Prior to the wedding, they were also so easy to communicate with over email and phone. I live in New York so having great communication was a must for me. THANK YOU It's a Date!!

I had Jessica and another stylist come to our rented house to do hair and make up for me and my bridesmaids. They were both wonderful and did an amazing job. I don't wear a lot of make up so didn't want to look to painted. Jessica listened to what I wanted and did a subtle and beautiful job. My only complaint is with the wedding coordinators. I often had to call 3 or 4 times to speak with them and they took way to long to follow up on things (e.g the contract). Despite this, I would recommend this vendor.

Heather came out to my wedding venue for my hair and make-up. She listened to my ideas, gave some great suggestions, and the end result was perfect! I would highly recommend her!!

Deanna is amazing!!! She listened to what I wanted and nailed my makeup on the first attempt during the trial run. I was really unsure of how I wanted my hair, and she was really patient with me as we tried out different options. When I was having a hard time articulating what I liked/didn't like, she helped me talk it out until ultimately we got to place I was happy with! On the morning of my wedding, she came to my hotel with an assistant to do hair and makeup, and they were both rockstars! They were super accommodating and fit in an extra hair and makeup for a bridesmaid who originally hadn't requested those services. They were really patient with all of the many requests of a bridal party on the day of a wedding, and did it all with a smile :) I highly recommend Deanna and It's A Date!

Mary did the hair and makeup for me (the bride), my maid of honor, and my mom on my wedding day. We all looked amazing! Mary is awesome! My hair is on the shorter side - I normally wear it in a bob cut. Mary was able to style my hair in such a way that I had an up-do that looked like my hair was much longer than it really was. Mary also gave me a relaxing start to my day. She arrived at the house we were staying (on time) and set up her gear in the dining room. It was like a girls night in. We had music, food, and fun and games while we got our hair and makeup done. Mary was one of the girls and I really appreciated having her there. She was calm, efficient, funny, and a true expert in her field. Thank you Mary!

I had my hair and make-up done at The Powder Room. After my trial, I was in tears - I really did not like my hair or make-up. As a destination bride, I didn't really have another option. When I came back for the wedding, I had a different approach and more guidance (based on my hair and make-up I had done for my bridal portraits in Dallas). The stylist was happy to take the feedback and I ended up happy.

I booked my own hair/makeup and had my bridal party and the moms' hair done by Katie at The Powder Room. While there isn't a ton of parking on a busy weekend, the salon itself is huge and you feel very pampered there (and I love the art in the bathroom!). My hair and make-up both for my engagement photos and my wedding were stunning, and all my friends and my mom and MIL all looked really amazing. I was hesitant about paying for professional hair/make-up services but was so glad I did! It was worth every penny.

I feel so fortunate that I was able to get my wedding hair and make-up done at the Powder Room! I was an out of town bride that had never before seen or met with any of these ladies – except for over the phone! I went solely off of reviews and a recommendation from my wedding planner – which is why I am writing a review – because I want to make sure I help all the other ladies that are in the same boat out!! I opted for the “trial run” and “day of” package as a way to ease my mind about the look I would get on my wedding day! Truthfully, I did not need a trial run – because they were SOOOOOO awesome --- but I would still recommend it because I had my hair and makeup done for my rehearsal and welcome dinner too!! She even did a different style so that I did not have the “same” style for both events. Really it is just a great way for you both to get on the same page and for them to play with your hair and make sure that they understand exactly what it is that you want and need. In addition, we had them come to our hotel and do hair and make-up for my whole wedding party! I know that the $30 “travel” fee may seem to add to all of the other things that you have already spent – but it is SOOOOOOO worth it! Seriously! I spent my wedding morning/afternoon in a robe sipping mimosas with all my bridesmaids – what a great way to start off such a fun and memorable night – and we didn’t have to worry about traffic or running late because we were already in the room where we were all going to get ready! In addition, they made all of my girls look stunningly gorgeous! Seriously – I wish that I could have them do my hair and make-up every day – it was such a fun and great experience! Make sure you book with them today!!! Oh PS – I had Alisa – and she was beyond great! Thank you for making me gorgeous!

Katie did my hair and make-up for my wedding, and she and her team also did my mom and all my bridesmaids. They were AWESOME. I am not someone who normally wears makeup or does much of anything with my hair - so I wasn't terribly comfortable with the whole process. Katie was fantastic all the way through. She did two trials with me before the big day, and was super fun and helpful all the way through. All my girls loved what she did - I can't recommend her highly enough. She's a total pro - and her low-stress, "everything is under control" demeanor is exactly what you want on the morning of the big day!

I was so happy with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Deanna did a great job, and was patient and understanding as I changed my mind several times during the trial! The pictures look great, and I really felt that I looked my best. She and her assistant also did my whole wedding party's hair, a very diverse group, and they all looked lovely.

Shielah at It's a Date was awesome! She not only came in on a Sunday, but did a fabulous job with my hair and make-up. I didn't have a chance to do a trial run because I arrived from Oklahoma only two days before the wedding. I chose to meet at their location, but they will come to you as well. She asked about my likes and dislikes, looked at some pictures I had pinned, and created the perfect look for my wedding day. She was very personable and easy to work with. I've heard nothing but good reviews about It's a Date, so I don't think you could go wrong with any of them, but I definitely recommend Shielah. She was amazing!

I was so happy with the ladies at "The Powder Room" They took such good care of me and my bridesmaids for my wedding. They really kept me distracted and I was able to relax and enjoy myself. Call early to make sure you can get all of you in, so glad that I did! It was a great thank you gift that my girls all appreciated.
