Stepheny was wonderful to work with and we LOVED our wedding video. We had a very small elopement–just six people–so the videographer and photographer were a big part of the day, and we wanted to find a videographer who we’d feel totally comfortable with. Stepheny and Molly were so easy to work with and had a great vibe. Our guests commented repeatedly on how much she added to the happiness of the day. My groom was not so sure about being filmed, but with Stepheny’s easygoing manner he very quickly was totally comfortable, and as a result, the wedding film really shows our personalities and the joy of the day. On a technical level it looked beautiful and the sound was flawless even though it was a windy day. We are so thrilled!

Stepheny was an absolute pro at everything, from the moment we first reached out with questions about booking, to the day she sent us our wedding video. There were so many things she thought of that never would have occurred to us, and not only did she help us capture our wedding day, but she helped us figure out little things we did or did not want as part of our day. She was patient, kind, and a complete professional, even completing our wedding video several weeks earlier than expected. We've heard from multiple people that our wedding video is the best wedding video they've ever seen, and although we might be biased, we agree! Black Sheep Filmworks was a referral from a friend who used her for her daughter's wedding. Stepheny was so easy to work with and adapted quickly to our wishes. This was a second wedding and we didn't want a lot of the traditional pictures/footage...but more of a celebration of family and love. She captured all of the love and emotion beautifully, and even told me that our vows made her cry. That was very personal and touching to me. The video truly helped us to relive our ceremony...she is very creative and talented!

I cannot rave enough about Black Sheep Filmworks. A videographer was at the top of our list as we decided on a small wedding and wanted to have a way to share our day with family back home (MN). Stepheny and her team absolutely blew our expectations out of the water. They were so sweet and personable, it felt like I had known them forever! My husband (who’s not one for cameras) didn’t even know they’re were there. BSFW caught the most intimate moments but did so in a way that we didn’t even realize we had people watching/filming. This was an absolute must for my husband! I could literally watch my short film over and over (I may already do that). Stepheny is such an artist and so fabulous to work with. I would book her over and over again. I can’t thank them enough for giving us a lifetime of memories!!

Stepheny is a true artist and you cannot fail to see and feel the love and emotion she puts into her work. She captured so many moments that we were completely unaware of and they are now and forever part of our memories of our daughter's special day. WOW! I knew I wanted Black Sheep Filmworks to be my wedding videographer as soon as I began watching other wedding highlights. It was the only videographer that I actually watched the full highlights until the end. The highlights are so personal and really capture the significant parts of each wedding day. When I received my wedding highlight and film I was literally blown away! I may be biased, but I truly think it's the best wedding highlight and film I've ever seen. Not only was Stepheny amazing and easy to work with, she has incredible talent. She also finished everything in a very timely manner! I also absolutely loved the music incorporated into the highlight and film, when one of my favorite songs came on it gave me chills. All I have to say is WOW. Stepheny and the Black Sheep Filmworks team was a complete DREAM to work with to capture our big day. Stepheny provided the most comprehensive questionnaire to really get to know me and my vision for our wedding video. She is extremely responsive and professional. I was very particular with what I wanted and she accommodated every single one of my requests while still sharing her professional opinion. The big day can be a little overwhelming and with Stepheney I didn't have to think about a thing! She was such a calming and FUN presence during the getting ready and first look portions of the day and a fly on the wall during the reception and ceremony (and I mean that in the best way possible!). Stepheny and her team are serious pros and suggested awesome "shots" that turned out AHHHMAZING on film. My husband was really nervous that our highlight/wedding video would turn out "cheesy/corny" and he was blown away by how opposite they were! Where does one begin? We feel so incredibly lucky to have had Stepheny and her team capture our wedding day last April--we have already watched our wedding videos countless times and just fall more and more in love with the little details and special moments they captured. Our wedding day was a dream and Black Sheep's artistry and care will allow us to relive that magic for decades to come. As we were wedding planning, budget-wise we were on the fence about getting a videographer but knew that if we did get one, it had to be Black Sheep (if you have watched Stepheny's videos you will know why!). We (and my mom, who helped with the cost) cannot imagine a better decision. Stepheny and her team were a seamless addition to the wedding day--they were kind and caring and somehow were able to unobtrusively be everywhere at once to capture the special details throughout the evening. If you are trying to decide whether to splurge for a videographer, our answer would be absolutely do it and make sure it's Black Sheep--you will be so happy you did!

Stepheny and Molly were very professional. I felt a little nervous to be on camera, especially on our big day, but they made us feel comfortable! We received a highlight clip which captured every detail of the wedding in a 6 minute snapshot.. I cry every time I watch it. Stepheny has a way with editing that is truly a work of art! She gave us the option to select music for the video but we gave her freedom to do what she thought fit. She did not disappoint! The full length video is something we will cherish forever and plan to watch it on every anniversary and share with our kids one day. Black Sheep for the win!!!!

If you are looking for the best videographer to document your wedding day look no further. Stephany is incredible in every way. She was easy to work with, captured our wedding day beautifully and was very professional and personable. What really set her apart for me was not just the HD quality of her film, it was the AUDIO. If you listen to other videographer's audio tracks they sound terrible or are excluded entirely and replaced with a soundtrack over the video. The best thing about Black Sheep is that they invest as much into their audio as their video which gives you a movie quality film of your wedding and allows you to re-live some of the best moments!

When I started planning my wedding I wasn’t sure if a video would fit in our budget but now that its over I am SO glad we did it and that we found Stepheny and Black Sheep Filmworks to capture the day. Firstly, if you’re on the fence about video like we were, just do it! It’s all you have when the day is over, we watch ours all the time, and it would have been the greatest regret of our wedding if we didn’t have it. Secondly, you NEED Stepheny! When we first started wedding planning, one of my must-haves was a videographer. Stepheny is WONDERFUL! She is professional and attentive.
