We worked with Simply Created Events for over a year, and our wedding at Evergreen Museum & Library was, by every measure, a success. We owe a lot of that to Nikki and Aubrey!
We ...
were on the partial service plan and primarily worked with Nikki, who has deep experience at Evergreen specifically. That venue expertise was invaluable. She knew the space, the flow, and the vendors, and every vendor she recommended was excellent and responsive. Throughout the planning process, she was consistently available: texts, calls, voice notes, whatever worked for us. She always got back to us promptly.
One of the things we appreciated most was how flexible and supportive they were when we had to reschedule our wedding due to a family health crisis. Nikki and Aubrey handled the transition with zero drama and complete professionalism, and they worked everything out with our vendors to transition to our new date. That kind of steadiness and support during a stressful time meant a lot.
We met at least once a month for the duration of our engagement, sometimes more. The day-of coordination was seamless. If you're getting married in Baltimore and at Evergreen in particular, I'd recommend them!
We hired Nikki as our month of coordinator for our wedding at the George Peabody Library and WOW was it worth it. By the time I was a month out from my wedding my head was scramble...
d and I was overwhelmed but we had Nikki to keep all the information straight and attend our final vendor meetings with us.
Nikki made the day run so flawlessly and it was a relief to know that I knew she would be there to remind me what we needed to do and when. I had multiple other vendors compliment me on how well organized everything was and always had to tell them that it was all because of Nikki! She is so well organized and takes on so many jobs on the day of. I truly would’ve been a mess without her. Our only regret is not hiring her to do more of the planning!! Truly worth every penny. I’d recommend Nikki and Simply Created Events to anyone!!!
Excellent service - Nikki was responsive, helped keep us to the event timeline, had a good knowledge of and working relationship with the other vendors, and the wedding came off wi...

Disappointing Execution and Significant Coordination Issues
An incredible amount of time, effort, and planning goes into a wedding, so when the execution does not align with what ...
was discussed, it can be very disappointing. We hired Simply Created Events for day-of coordination with the expectation that they would help ensure our plans were executed smoothly. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of those expectations.
Timeline and Coordination Issues
We were provided with a timeline prior to the wedding, but important logistical information was missing. Several vendors noted that key portions of their responsibilities were not included, resulting in fragmented planning and the need for separate coordination documents.
Additionally, our wedding party reported receiving little to no direction before walking down the aisle, which is reflected in the organization of the processional.
Planned Events Not Carried Out
Movie Presentation
The coordinator’s own timeline referenced the movie experience in the theater (“Small theater has Good Will Hunting and candy”). However, on the wedding day, we were asked where the movie was. We had never been informed that we needed to provide a file or copy of the movie in advance, and it was ultimately never shown.
Birthday Surprise
We had planned a birthday surprise for several guests, including singing “Happy Birthday” and presenting custom cupcakes. This was discussed in email communication with another vendor (who had the coordinator CC’d). However, because the coordinator stated that it did not need to be discussed further during our walkthrough, we never told her that we had purchased custom cupcakes for these guests, and it was not included in the final timeline. The surprise was ultimately not successfully carried out.
Setup and Execution Issues
We provided a flight board display that only needed to be hung and assembled, but it was incorrectly arranged and appeared incomplete in photos. Our game room sign was left on the floor rather than being placed on the easel we had provided, and a retail packaging sticker remained on our cocktail hour menu frame.
Several detail items were not set up in time for our media team. Because these items were not ready for our detail photos, we had to transport multiple items—including signage and seating materials—afterward to recreate the material.
Ceremony Notes
We explicitly communicated that children under six were not invited to the ceremony, and this instruction was included on the coordinator’s own timeline as “NO CHILDREN AT CEREMONY.” Despite this, children under six who were not part of the wedding party were present during the ceremony.
During setup, we observed a young child (appearing to be approximately 10 years old) actively assisting with arranging wedding items, including decor and display pieces.
Final Notes
The coordinator did assist with cleanup at the end of the event, and all of our items were returned to us.
While some personal items required organization prior to the event, many of the issues we experienced involved details that had been discussed in advance but were not executed as planned.
Overall, we left our wedding feeling there were significant communication and execution issues. Couples considering this company should ensure all expectations and responsibilities are clearly documented and confirmed in writing before the wedding day.
Aubrey is the best! She was my coordinator and she made the whole experience so easy. She was always quick to respond, super understanding, kind, and just really great to work with...

league Nikki due to her experience at the venue we had chosen, and Nikki was fantastic. She was incredibly organized, thought of every detail, and was extremely thorough. Leading up to the wedding she helped us through various stages of planning, crafted a perfect timeline for us, and knew all the right questions to ask and details to consider. She attended every meeting we had with our various vendors and made us feel confident that every detail we had and hadn't thought of was being well planned out and properly handled. She helped us immensely with a difficult vendor, and her experience and professionalism with them made us far more at ease. Nikki made the entire wedding day run smoothly and kept us and all the vendors on schedule. She made us feel so comfortable and confident that the wedding would go right that we got to focus on having fun and being with friends and family. If our experience with Nikki is indicative of the overall quality of the team at Simply Created, we highly recommend working with them.
Aubrey was phenomenal! She was warm, responsive, detail-oriented, and so supportive. She took our ideas and made them a reality. She reduced our stress levels and we were confident...

daughter's Baltimore wedding. We found her by asking our venue manager who was the Baltimore wedding planner that they like to work with the most. Without hesitation, she said she loved working with Nikki the best because, not only is she great at her job, but she is also wonderful to work with Nikki handled both our Welcome Party at the Peabody Library and the wedding at the Engineers Club and she knocked both out of the park. From day one she helped to keep us organized and on task. (Something we desperately needed) Nikki helped us to pick out the best vendors that were very familiar with our venue, which turned out great. For example, Nikki recommended our photographer, (who was fantastic), who knew all the best photo spots inside and outside since she knew our venue so well. As a very disorganized mother of the bride, I was overwhelmed with all of the details that make up a wedding. Nikki is unbelievably detail oriented and made sure every little thing, no matter how small, was not only accomplished, but beautifully done. As an example, I had my heart set on a ridiculously complicated napkin fold that I finally realized couldn't be done. Well, unbelievably, Nikki and her assistant folded and decorated 180 napkins exactly to my specifications...I was honestly in shock that they were able to do it! Nikki is also a delight to work with. She is incredibly sweet and unbelievably flexible. We must have changed our minds on a hundred things and Nikki would just smile and say "no problem, we will get that done". During the wedding I must have had over 50 guests come up to me and say "this is the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to". My 87 year old brother-in-law was one of the people who said it was the best wedding he had been to and that it was better than his own! (and at 87, he has been to a lot of weddings!) The only sad part of our wedding weekend is that now we won't be seeing Nikki all the time!
Aubrey's fantastic. She did an incredible job managing the logistics and interpersonal challenges that come with a wedding. We also loved all of the vendors who she recommended. ...

ut of state wedding, but Nikki displayed professionalism and excitement to help bring our vision to life. She took our time zone mix ups and crazy requests in stride! Nikki communicated well behind the scenes with all of our other vendors, making sure that everyone was on the same page. Nikki really prioritized our timeline, ensuring that we had the opportunity to spend the time we wanted celebrating with our families and friends. Whatever was important to us was important to Nikki. She was flexible and go with the flow, thinking quickly. We were told by our venue that if my now husband and I go table to table, we would lose an hour of dancing time. Nikki assured us we would not, and day of we made it to every table without cutting a second of dancing! Nikki thought of the small details, like instructing the DJ to bring additional equipment when we decided to split our cocktail hour into two spaces. She made sure my husband and I ate and checked in on us throughout the night! We were so happy to have her make sure our day went smoothly. Can’t recommend Simply Created Events enough! Thank you for everything!
If you're looking for a wedding day coordinator who will make sure everything runs flawlessly, look no further than Aubrey and Nikki at Simply Created Events! From start to finish,...
their expertise and attention to detail truly made our day unforgettable.
Aubrey was so helpful during the planning process. She helped keep me organized, guiding me through every step to ensure I didn't miss a thing. She was always there to ask helpful questions, and I never once felt overwhelmed because I knew I had her support. Her planning skills were top-notch, and I could tell she genuinely cared about making our wedding perfect.
On the big day, I was able to relax and fully enjoy the moment because I knew Aubrey and Nikki were handling everything behind the scenes. They executed our vision with such precision, and when I finally saw everything come together, I was blown away. It was everything I had dreamed of and more. Even when a little rain pushed us to delay the ceremony, they made sure we were comfortable with the new plan and kept everything moving smoothly. The day truly went off without a hitch, despite the weather hiccup!
I cannot recommend Simply Created Events enough to any future bride. Aubrey and Nikki are true professionals, and I'm so grateful we chose them to be part of our special day. If you want a stress-free wedding experience and a team that will bring your vision to life, they are the ones to trust!

d she help me book a last minute hairstylist that was affordable and amazing, she set up so many decorations, she seemed to be in 1000 places at once on our wedding day, coordinating with all vendors, guests, the wedding party to get us all in the right place at the right time. And of all that was handled with calm, confident reassurance; she is incredibly kind and patient in all
circumstances. She's a great listener, advocates on behalf of her clients, and very detail oriented. 10/10
Nikki also ran our rehearsal well, despite our excited wedding party talking over each other, and even offered to arrive early to help with decorations that were set up the day before.
We are just SO grateful to her for making our wedding perfect. We could hardly think of anything that wasn't made easier because of her. Can't say enough good things about her services, so I'm letting my family leave a review too, because we're all impressed.

g up to the wedding, Nikki was so incredibly helpful. She was always responsive to questions and quick to coordinate across other vendors. To have her help whenever I realized I made a mistake meant the world to a stressed out bride-to-be. On the wedding day, she and other SCE staff were there at every step, and even helped me with my dress! Very grateful for Nikki and SCE. Thanks to them, the wedding went off without a hitch!

from a very young age how they want their wedding to be was not the case for me. Truthfully, I had no idea where to start. The moment my husband and I got engaged, I knew that we needed to hire a full service wedding event planner and FAST; cue Simply Created Events. From our first “scoping” call before signing the contract, Aubrey was very realistic with us and provided great insight into what we could expect from the planning/timeline experience. We informed her of what our most important priorities were out of the gate and moved forward from there.
Once the contract was signed, we started off planning the major items with Aubrey. She was extremely detail oriented, thorough and kept us on track throughout the whole process up until about 90-days before our wedding date. Insert, Nikki, Aubrey’s right hand woman, which we knew we’d be working with from the start closer to the date because of several weddings booked on our weekend.
Nikki was absolutely fantastic as we got closer to the date. She handled our last minute requests gracefully as I had explained many times throughout the process that there were so many things we didn’t know that we needed until we didn’t have them. She was easy to work with, kept me from being frazzled with all of the last minute details and ultimately made sure that my husband and I had the most wonderful time on our special day! Everything went off without a hitch even with the Baltimore Marathon happening!
We can’t recommend Simply Created Events enough! If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planning company, don’t be. Hire Aubrey and Nikki from Simply Created! We’re so lucky to have had them on our side throughout the process!

They were always on time to meetings, willing to put in the extra hours to make things work (even when our plans would change by the minute), and were always open and willing to adjust based off our budget/preferences. We legitimately could not have done this without them, and I would 1000% recommend them to anyone considering having a wedding planner!

in this often overwhelming process. She helped us to make the ceremony super meaningful and personalized to us. The day seemed to go off without a hitch. I say "seemed" because the bus we hired to bring guests back to the hotel after the reception never showed but Aubrey found a replacement bus for us and saved the day; we had no idea there was an issue until after the wedding and she worked with us to get a refund from the original bus company. She is so warm and was a joy to work with. All my engaged friends have been asking me for her contact information after seeing her in action.

d Aubrey as soon as I had a consultation with her! She was so thorough and made my vision come to life. I hired her for "day of" services but she really provides so much more than that. I had all my vendors booked and provided her with the info, and then she took over and took care of all those little details that would've been SO overwhelming for me to try to figure out. Her day-of timeline was a lifesaver and she even texted me throughout the day to make sure everything was running smoothly at the hotel where we were getting ready while she was at the venue putting everything together. I was able to fully enjoy my day knowing that Aubrey had everything under control. Her reasonable prices were the icing on the cake. 10/10 recommend!!

add some design services as well since we are more "math/science" people and needed lots of help making things look pretty :) She helped make sure we were doing everything we needed to, picked up our "day of" items (cake topper, guest book, etc) and set up everything on the day of our wedding. She even picked up our cake and mini cupcakes the day of the wedding! Everyone at the wedding was so impressed with how everything looked. We couldn't believe how smoothly everything went the day of our wedding. Many of our guests commented on how everything went off without a hitch!
As part of the design services, we worked with Shannon, Simply Created's lettering artist, who was also an absolute godsend. She wrote and put together all our signs, table numbers, place cards, and cupcake labels. Knowing this was all being taken care of by Shannon and Aubrey was such a stress reducer leading up to the wedding.
Aubrey and everything on her team have such a positive attitude that working with them feels like talking to good friends. My dad commented at the wedding how clear it was that Aubrey absolutely loved her job. She was on top of everything leading up to and at the wedding but was always such a calming presence throughout the process.

! We did a partial package with Aubrey, which I thought was perfect. She provided a master timeline with tasks for us to complete each month- and she sent monthly reminders of those tasks to keep us up to speed. She also provided vendor suggestions which led to us having the best vendor team possible. We truly loved our photographer, caterer, florist, etc. and they were all recommendations from Aubrey. Aubrey knows her stuff and was laid back and calm the entire process, which helped ease my nerves as a bride. The day of the wedding was a hot one! Aubrey and her assistant did an amazing job keeping us on our schedule, so we could get to the dance floor as quickly as possible. They endured the heat with smiles and positive energy the entire time. I will be recommending Aubrey to any engaged friends going forward.

elieved to have Aubrey assisting us throughout the process. Aubrey was a massive help in narrowing down and ultimately choosing vendors, and presenting all of the information we needed in a way that was easy to understand.
Aubrey was always able to make time for us if we had questions about contracts, vendors, timelines, decor, and literally anything else that came up. She was always responsive and never hesitated to jump on a call with us if we ever felt like we needed it.
While Aubrey and team were already amazing to work with before the ceremony, we were in awe at just how perfect our wedding was, thanks in large part to Aubrey and team. Our families were skeptical when we told them that we only needed them to show up and the day would be on auto-pilot, but that's exactly what happened because of all of the hard work that Aubrey and team put in. We literally would not have changed a thing. We got so many compliments on how smoothly our wedding went, which we credit to just how good Aubrey and team are at their craft.
To put it bluntly, bringing on Aubrey and the Simply Created team was the first decision we made for our wedding, and it was the best decision we made throughout the whole process. Our wedding was magical, and we can't begin to thank Aubrey and team enough for all of their work.
I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with Aubrey and her team at Simply Created Events! From our first conversation, I felt secure with Aubrey and knew I could reach out...
with any question that came up. Leading up to our wedding, she coordinated a sit down with our other vendors to get everyone on the same page, and created a timeline that worked with everyone. The week before our wedding when our nerves started creeping up, Aubrey took the time to make sure we were ok and felt confident that everything would go as planned. She made our rehearsal and wedding day flow so smoothly, from setting up to keeping us on schedule through the night. From beginning to end, I knew my wedding was in the best hands!
Aubrey, thank you so much!!!
We hired Aubrey Canale with Simply Created for our daughter's wedding, mainly because it was in Baltimore and we needed guidance for vendors, etc. What we got exceeded expectations...
! Aubrey not only supplied us with musicians, hotel block, florist, photographer and every thinkable other source, but kept us on a timeline which made our wedding stress-free and joyful! Aubrey was like a member of our family. We would recommend her to anyone without reservations! Worth her weight in gold!
Aubrey and her team made our day run so smoothly! We hired her for day of coordination and her ability to pick up on where we left off on the planning stage in such a seamless way,...
as if she was there all along, made the months leading up to the day much less stressful than we anticipated. We were able to trust her both in a management aspect and in a creative aspect for the day, putting our minds at ease and allowing us to focus on spending time with each other and with our family & friends! We can't even express how thankful we are for her and her team!
I cannot say enough about Aubrey’s professionalism and skill at wedding planning. We hired Aubrey for full planning and it was the best decision - we set a vision from the beginnin...
g and every decision was aligned to achieving it. She happily partnered with vendors I identified and directed me to extraordinary professionals when I needed help. Aubrey is proactive, responsive, and trustworthy. By the time we got to the wedding day I was able to focus on getting married, taking photos, and celebrating with the people I love, confident that Aubrey was putting together and then managing the perfect event. It was an absolutely dreamy day, and Aubrey deserves so much of the credit.
I am convinced that Aubrey and I are now life long friends because that is how special she made us feel as a client. We had a lot of moving parts (well, who doesn't I guess) since ...
my Fiancé had contacts in the industry he wanted to use to help save on some costs. Aubrey was there for all of it helping us iron out these sometimes very complicated details and she did it with ease and always seemingly relaxed. She came highly recommended to us (shout out to Elle L below lol) and I am so glad she did! I would have been truly lost without her.
