The vibes I told Kaitlyn I was looking for she picked up on right away and picked out my dress is minutes. She never tried to persuade me to buy extra products from the shop, she made me feel very comfortable, and she “got” me. We also returned to the shop closer to the wedding for a MOB dress for my mom. She was really looking for a pantsuit but fell in love with this beautiful beaded gown that she looked STUNNING in. Again… all thanks to Kaitlyn.

ess in July 2022 and it was ready by December 2022 for my August 2023 wedding. They let me store the dress at the salon free of charge until I was ready for alterations. Loved everyone there and I highly recommend!

She knew everything about each dress I tried on, and even had me try on different styles to make sure I knew what I wanted. The entire staff was very friendly and there were a ton of beautiful options for wedding gowns! I highly recommend coming here if you're searching for your wedding dress, it was such an enjoyable, stress free experience!

My consultant Sarah picked it off the rack and it blew me away! The price was right and I felt like a modern princess; I also ordered my matching veil and mask there. Everyone was very kind during our visits, but there were A LOT of them. It’s a 40 minute drive from my place to the showroom/alterations space, and I had about 5 fittings for this dress. The communication of timelines/what we needed to fix and execution of the alterations was not in sync. Even after my last fitting, my parents picked up my dress and brought it all the way home only to notice black smudge all over my dress. They immediately made it right and re-cleaned the dress, ultimately hand-delivering it to my house.

d gotten lunch with my coworkers in Bay Shore one day. On a whim, we stopped in and asked whether we could browse. The girls at the front desk were so nice and said it wasn’t an issue. I immediately made an appointment. Lisa helped me, and I ended up buying the very first dress I tried on, which was a beautiful Mikaella dress. From the minute I tried it on, I fell in love. I couldn’t believe that the first dress I tried was my wedding dress, so I ended up going to several other boutiques to make sure. I compared everything to the original dress. When I came back, Lisa and the girls were so nice and helpful. They called me when my dress came in, and were so accommodating, as I needed to reschedule several fittings due to work. My dress was absolutely perfect and fit me perfectly. I got so many compliments on it on my wedding day and I wish I could wear it all the time! After the wedding, they even directed me to where I could send my dress to get it cleaned and preserved. I cannot recommend Bridal Suite of Bay Shore highly enough!

taff to order the wrong size dresses in order to make more money in the end. I am aware that sounds crazy, but the owner is crazy. She manipulates her staff into thinking that's the way it works and that they are doing the right thing, by no fault of their own. It started with my wedding dress. My dress came in too small, and was marked a size under what I had ordered. They said it was the manufacturer, after everything else that happened, I don't believe it was. They did get a new dress sent in though, but this was the first red flag. My Mom ordered her gown there, and had lost some inches in between ordering and the dress coming in. However, the dress that was ordered did not match her measurements and was 2 sizes too big from what her measurements originally were. Now that she had lost weight, it was 4 sizes too big. In order to alter, it would take away from the natural shape of the dress. So they agreed to order her a new size. The biggest and main issue of all, was all of my bridesmaid and maid of honor dresses. ALL OF THEM WERE TOO SMALL. Not every single one of my bridesmaids gained weight but according to the owner, Gina, they did. Each of the dresses required extra material to be ordered, as she refused to order a new size. We were closer to the date of the wedding, because most of my bridesmaids and maid of honor did not live locally, most of the pick up was done when they were local for my bridal shower. The staff new from the beginning that my bridal party did not live local and said they would be able to work with that and it wouldn't be a problem. I got involved with all the dresses and wanted Gina to look at it as a whole problem, instead she wanted to go individually one by one for each girl and only talk to them. She would not see my complaint of all of the dresses being an issue, nor did she want to speak to me. The only reason that woman had our business was because of me, and being the bride, it was my responsibility to make sure my girls were taken care of and didn't have to overpay for anything! It got to the point of getting all of my bridal party to send me their original receipt with their measurements on it, comparing to their measurements currently, and then going to the manufacturers website to compare to their size chart and what was ordered. 6 weeks before my wedding day, I got into an argument over the phone with Gina who was SCREAMING at me. I brought up all of those details and she wanted to battle with me on every single one. She claimed zero responsibility for the size issues, and stated each of my girls should take responsibility for gaining weight. Which by the way, they did not. She should NOT be in this industry, she should not be an owner of anything, she treats her employees like complete crap and the same for any customer who challenges her. She threatened to not work with me anymore, which would have meant I have no wedding dress (again 6 weeks before my wedding) and any of the girls who didn't pick up their dresses already would also not have dresses. She is extremely unprofessional, I feel sad for the staff because they really tried to do the right thing and none of this was their fault.

life. Bridal suite of Bayshore was my second stop in dress shopping and also my last. Eileen who works there was so wonderful. She made my experience so great, fun, easy and special. She listened to what I had envisioned and she pulled multiple dresses for me to try on. As we’re trying them on she says to me....do me a favor.. try this one on. And sure enough .. she had found “the one.” From then on it was even more bliss. Every fitting, every appointment was great. Nancy did all of my alterations and she is a perfectionist...which I love. With so much experience I knew I was in good hands. You can tell Nancy truly cared about her work and wanted to make me Look amazing. I felt so comfortable and she just knew what she was doing. She made some custom changes to my dress that made it my own and made me feel insanely beautiful. I can’t thank the entire staff enough for making this experience such a great one.

at selection. I fell in love with my dream dress, and bought it the first day I tried it on. When the dress comes in, they encourage you to come in for a "fun" try on appointment, not a fitting but just a chance to try on the dress that is actually yours, with any accessories you may already have. My fittings took a few more fittings than was originally anticipated. Although at first this was frustrating, they were incredibly accommodating and understanding of any frustration I experienced, and rectified the situation. I picked up my dress the weekend before my wedding, and it was perfect. On my wedding day it fit perfectly, and I felt amazing in it. I truly appreciated all of the attention and care I received throughout the process.

the alterations done there since I had a good experience, well that was a BIG MISTAKE. The dress did not fit and the seamstress kept giving me excuses why she couldn't fix it and we just needed to accepted this was how the dress was made. It was not until I refused to pay for the dress that they got the manager who advocated for me and told the seamstress to just fix it. Then when I went for my final pickup there was strings everywhere, parts of the lace were not sewn down. I then had to wait 45 mins while they fixed these mistakes. My recommendation DO NOT GET IT ALTERED HERE!

that was after the day of the wedding. I reminded the receptionist of the wedding date and was told “not to worry the dress would have to come in on time”. The dress arrived 2 weeks prior to the wedding day. It took 4 trips to the shop to get altered and even when I left with the dress (48 hours before the wedding) it still wasn’t right. The dress was uncomfortably tight and had stains all over. When I pointed out the stains at the final fitting (stains were not there for the 2 prior fittings) the girl told me if I would like to wait while it was being fixed it would take an hour. Not more then 20 minutes later she said it would take a few hours and that I should come back just before close that evening. When I returned hours later the dress was the same. I pointed it out yet again and she took it upstairs to work on. The girls tried to blame it on the manufacture, claiming condensation in the bag the dress arrived to the store in. But as I said, there were no stains prior to my fitting earlier that day. She was unable to get the stains out and told me the manager and owner were on vacation with limited cell service and they could not give me a discount without their approval. When I asked her to try calling them she was able to get through but didn’t let me speak to her. I was only given a 10% discount off the dress and still asked to pay for alterations despite it needing to be altered 4 times and still not being correct. Turns out other girls in the wedding party had issues as well including a few missing a hook and eye (we had to sew a girl into her gown hours before the wedding). I would not recommend going to this bridal shop for any dress. It was a stressful and disappointing experience.

I am only 5' 2" so we did a hollow-to-hem measurement and ordered the dress to my height so that it wouldn't have to be hemmed. The dress came in on time and was exactly as ordered. I used their alterations services for the few alterations that I needed. Maria did a beautiful job altering my dress, getting the lines and fit just right. She was even able to fix a small hole in the delicate illusion material on the back of the dress with appliques that matched perfectly. I would definitely recommend Bridal Suite of Bay Shore!

I choose the dress 13 months before my wedding. At 8 months it came in but it didn't fit. After measuring they realized it was a error made by the manufacturer. They handled it themselves and I had the right dress 3 months later. I am a very short person and picked a very long dress with a lot of detail on the bottom and the seamstresses did a wonderful job. They also made a complex but beautiful system to create my bustle for the reception. I've been to a bunch of weddings this summer and so far mine was the only one who's bustle didn't fall while dancing. Thank you for everything!

o look at reviews before I ordered my gown & was nervous of how everything would turn out. I had no reason to be nervous at all, the staff was incredibly professional. They emailed me when the gown came in (and it came in early!). I did a “first look” appointment to see my gown and see if my accessories I bought matched. This was in January for my June wedding, so it was mostly to get over my dress concerns. I listened to the staff when it came to dress size (because it all sounded foreign to me) which worked out, the dress came in and barely needed alterations! I had two fittings total and my dress came out perfect. The seamstresses did an amazing job. They even held on to my gown until two days before the wedding so I didn’t have to fuss too much about storing it at home.

The team here got everything done in time and perfect! My dress was beautiful, the veil was flawless and I could not have picked a better salon to get the most important outfit I would wear in life. !! Thank god I convinced the owner to call the dress manufacturer and get the order rushed. But she was so rude and made me feel like it was my fault. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If it was an honest mistake and Gina would have apologized and accepted responsibility I would understand because mistakes happen. We were not offered any discount on the stress or alterations even with all the mistakes and stress it caused. Ridiculous.

They were able to price match for a cheaper price I found online. We weren't so pleased with the alterations department. My sister went to pick up her dress and the sleeves were still pinned and not even finished. One of the girls had to pay extra to get extra length because of her height and they ended up cutting most of it off. I also experienced shopping for my dress here. Although I didn't find what I was looking for, they were very helpful and have beautiful dresses. Overall I would recommend the Bridal Suite of Bayshore for their wide selections of bridesmaid dresses/ brands.

Once they helped me narrow down the style, they helped pick out more dresses similar enough and then I feel in love with the "one". They let me come in a few times with different family members and bridesmaids to show them before I purchased it. I got my alterations done there as well, not expensive and super easy and simple with them. I actually only had to do one fitting because they had it fitting perfectly. Couldn't be happier that I went there. Side Note: I did go there to check out bridesmaid dresses as well & they had sooooooo many options however the specific light purple (lavender) color I was interested in was limited so I ended up going elsewhere. But they were still extremely accommodating even while I fussed around and looked at every single dress :)

If it wasn't for Eileen and the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore I would probably be getting married in a potato sack. What are you waiting for? Go find your dream dress at Bridal Suite of Bay Shore.

Taking pictures was not only allow but even encouraged! I couldn't decide between two dresses and told her we would come back with my mom and she had no problem with that at all. They have amazing dresses here bride and bridesmaid. If I didn't have my dress already I would have loved to look here. I would HIGHLY recommend this store. I have been in many bridal places before where the women and consultants were extremely pushy and rude - that is NOT the case here. I've never felt so welcomed.

helps you get into the dress never properly hooked my dress before the zipper. So on my final fitting the top of my dress wouldn't close by an inch by my back not my stomach so naturally I was very upset because I had a fitting 7 days before that and you don't can weight like that in your back. At first they tried to blame me which is ridiculous and then they figured the bridal assistant never closed the dress properly, honestly what type of bridal place do you run where you have workers not hooking a dress all the way at a fitting and now there only solution was to cut that piece out. This place is definitely not worth all the stress especially when it comes to your bridal gown, go somewhere else!!

er/dress I had my heart set on for over a year. To my luck, they had the dress and I fell in love with it and purchased it right away. About 3 months before my wedding, after the dress was supposed to already be in, I called and was told that the dress was indeed there and that I should have received a phone call, but of course I never did. I went in for a fitting and that's when it all went down hill. The dress was no where near close to ever fitting me in my lifetime. They took my measurements again and some were slightly different (but they took them differently than the first girl) while others were exactly the same, but the dress was way too tiny. The seamstress came down and said she could take the entire dress out which upset me because the dress is all lace and it made me nervous. Rather than comforting me, I was made to feel like it was all my fault that the dress didn't fit and was given zero sympathy while I sat there crying. I came back 2 weeks later and the dress fit but after that they basically refused to do any of the alterations that I wanted. They wouldn't take it back in to fit my body because I "won't be able to walk or sit" which was totally not true at all. The dress looked awful on me and made me look huge. I went back for my final fitting 3 weeks before the wedding. The dress had every pin still in place from a month prior and hadn't been touched. I was told multiple stories. First they said the seamstress had a personal emergency that morning, then they said the file was misplaced. They couldn't get their story straight but I wasn't going to give them one more chance. I took my dress to a new seamstress who was amazing. She charged me $400 less than they were charging and did much more than they were willing to do. She told me that the straps to my dress weren't altered as I was told. The lace was glued back on, not sewn. I paid for hollow to hem when I ordered the dress but it was still 2 inches too long and had to be done again. The cups were sewn in incorrectly. The bustle was done so poorly that one of the buttons popped off before the wedding day so the entire bustle had to be redone. They wouldn't bend the boning that made my stomach puff out when it was an easy fix. She took the dress in so it fit my body perfectly and I was able to walk and sit just fine. When I spoke to the owner about all of these situations, she said she fully trusts her employees and would never place any of the blame on them. She told me that I handled myself poorly after I had these issues but how would she react if her bridal gown was incomplete weeks before the wedding? Throughout the entire process, every time I went there there was another girl dealing with a similar situation..dress not fitting, alteration expenses way more than they should've been or different then others for the same thing, dress not done 3 weeks before the wedding. It is very clear this place is a complete scam and the owner trains her employees to go along with all of her little games. Every time I would tell someone the story of what I was dealing with, I would hear other horror stories...one after the next. It's pathetic and extremely disgusting that the owner and employees of bridal suite of bay shore can even live with themselves knowing what they do to their brides.

lovely. She truly made me feel special that day and I am so thankful. My mom and I were in one of the private show rooms where we had room to spread out and try on dresses. Joanne let us go around and look at all of them but she also pulled some for me. Joanne wanted me to have no regrets about the dress I chose and she had me try on almost every style in the store. We had narrowed it down to two dresses - the first and second I tried on. She put me back in both and had me spend ample time walking around and looking in the mirror at both of the dresses for 20 minutes per dress which I thought was awesome. She never rushed me or pressured me to make a decision. As well, she stayed to budget and even exceeded my mom's expectations and my dream dress was under budget! Because of this, I found the dress of my dreams, didn't feel any regret about not going to other places. Alterations was no problem- i know some people have nightmares about alterations and have had issues but myself and my mom who purchased her dress here as well really did not. The ladies got the alterations done in a timely fashion and if anything needed to be adjusted it was done. Really no complaints about this place- from top to bottom it was a professional experience
