When it came to dinner, our guests could not stop raving about the food. We offered both filet and crabcake options, and everything was cooked perfectly. The staff was incredibly attentive, especially when it came to accommodating guests with allergies as they made sure every person received the correct meal without any confusion. The entire day ran effortlessly. There was zero stress, and we were able to truly enjoy every moment knowing we were in great hands. West Shore Country Club delivered an exceptional experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with outstanding service.

The summer florals were perfect on the grounds, and we can't wait to see our sunset photos using the golf cart! e. We worked with Brittney after we booked to plan our special day. She was very friendly and professional. A few months before our wedding she planned an event to have a lot of couples come in at once to sample many different food and drink options. She also had tables set up to show some different options. The day of our wedding was wonderful. I would recommend renting the specified rooms to have your bridal parties get ready in. We purchased lunch for our bridesmaids and groomsman, which was a nice added touch. Brittney also set aside golf carts for us, our photographers, and bridal party to go out onto the grounds to take pictures. Everyone loved this and it saved a lot of time. We loved having the ceremony outside in the tent. It was bright and perfect for photos. I’m not sure whose responsibility it was, but nobody ruled out the aisle way, which was the only downfall. The staff at the WSCC worked hard to make the ball room perfect for our reception. The food was amazing and all of our guests raved about it. We also enjoyed our signature drinks! We highly recommend you consider WSCC for your special day.

The food here is amazing and I am still dreaming of the carved turkey we had at our wedding. The ballroom is amazing with a solid dance floor with tables surrounding the entire area instead of one that is laid down as a temporary floor. This made for a perfect romantic set up for our winter wedding. There is a huge area for the ladies to get ready out of sight in the morning which was perfect for our hair and makeup artists to spread out. Everyone is always telling us how wonderful the place was, how amazing our food was, and what an overall great time our wedding was. All thanks to the fantastic staff at the West Shore Country Club.

ildman was our point of contact and was on top of EVERYTHING. She was incredibly organized during planning and kept us on schedule during the actual reception. She even sent us (the bride and groom) home with goody bags of food we weren't able to eat during the reception and a piece of cake for both of us! She also noticed that I hadn't gotten a chance to eat and a burger and fries magically appeared on our sweetheart table towards the end of the reception. The food was spectacular and our signature drinks were a hit. Our pictures turned out beautifully. We also were surprised when it also turned out to be the most affordable option for our 200 guest wedding in the Harrisburg area. 10/10 recommend. We had an absolute blast.

We were the first wedding and it was so much fun. Amber made sure everything was in place from my decor list. Mike was amazing. He made sure my husband and I always had a drink. The west shore country club did a great job for our shower, ceremony and reception. World class service and food is still what our families talk about.

WSCC on the Knot.com. We emailed Alexia to see if we could plan a visit. She was not available for a visit but she was able to find someone else to give us the tour or the venue. We were so excited that we could visit. Upon arriving to the country club, I was overwhelmed with excitement and got goosebumps just walking through. I could see the day I was planning happening there. We picked a date and started planning with the team at West Shore Country Club. I have spent over a year working with Alexia and I felt like I gained another family through the process. I had many questions/ requests/ and demands during the planning and Alexia answered every question and every demand. I wanted our day to be our dream wedding. The day arrived and it was better than I could have ever imagined! Alexia and the reception staff had met every desire, except they made the day better than I had imagined and hoped for. Mike was our guy the whole night and he was on top of everything. He made sure we had what we needed and was right there if there was something we wanted! I think back on our wedding and get overwhelmed with the exceptional experience we had. I miss the WSCC staff that we worked with already and will always remember our time and the family that we became a part of through having our reception at West Shore Country Club!

ll very friendly and super helpful. I never got the one server's name but the guy with the dreadlocks was awesome. We got several compliments from the guests on our choice of venue. My only complaint is that my bridesmaids and I were told that we would have someone taking lunch and bar orders while we got ready but no one came to check on us. One of my bridesmaids had to go upstairs to place our orders. I was also under the impression that we would have the room to ourselves. But random members did come into the room while we were getting ready which was also a little weird. Especially since one stepped over my dress to help herself to some snacks. I would recommend taking a look at the greens before the big day to pick out photo sites. There is a bridge that is really nice and great for first looks. I would highly recommend the West Shore Country Club when planning your wedding. As I said everyone is super friendly and helpful and the place is beautiful. And if you want to wrap the poles in the ballroom it is about 2 strings of lights per pole and a great effect. Just an FYI.

I could not have asked for a better wedding day, hands down I highly recommend the West Shore Country Club!!!

The food at the country club is fantastic, which is just one of the reasons we chose them. We knew our guests would enjoy the options they have to offer and we weren’t disappointed. The ballroom looked exactly as I thought it would, elegant, warm, and sophisticated. Our entire day was incredible and beyond our expectations,...we have everyone at the WSCC to thank for helping to make our day so special!

The food at the cocktail hour and reception was incredible and the banquet team would frequently check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We were so happy that we went with WSCC for our wedding and would definitely recommend the venue to future couples!

Brad and Alexia, who made sure every last detail (even the ones we didn't think about) were absolutely perfect. A few highlights that really make this venue stand out are the following - -Ability to customize appetizers for no extra charge; -Tent on the patio for summer months (this really helped with the heat on the day of our wedding); -Exceptionally trained bartenders, staff and waiters (I know notice how unprofessional staff is at other weddings compared to ours); -The space itself is absolutely beautiful - it was so great that for the wedding we got the use of all first floor rooms and the outside patio (there were no extra charges per room); -Golf was included as part of our wedding package, so my husband and 10+ of his friends and family were able to golf the day before the wedding; -We were assigned our own personal waiter (as were my parents) to attend to all of our needs throughout the night; -Brad and team already had an existing relationship with most of our vendors, which made the overall planning process very easy; and -We were able to take golf carts out on the golf course to take pictures, which was absolutely beautiful; These are just a few examples of what really stood out to me. After our wedding and still months later, we have received so many complements on how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, and how much fun our guests had, which truly speaks to the level of service we received and just how beautiful the country club is. In my opinion, this is the best venue in the area and the range of choices we had made it easy to stay within our budget. Thank you Brad, Alexia and Chef Mike!

ding on New Year’s Eve 2019. The director we worked with, Alexia, said she needed to ask permission to hold the event because of the history of a member event on that date. On October 20, 2017, she told us that she spoke with the general manager and that we could hold our reception there. We scheduled a tour, and Alexia cancelled the day before. She said she would email to reschedule as soon as she could. A month after not receiving an email, I reached out and asked about rescheduling. She replied the next day to tell us that they might not be able to accommodate our date any longer and that it was being submitted to the board. About another month later, she told us that the board voted that we could not hold our reception on our desired date. While my fiancé and I are completely understanding of the fact that the date was not able to be accommodated, we wish we hadn’t wasted over two months hoping this could be our reception venue, and we think the club should seriously reconsider Alexia as the contact person for weddings. She was not professional or efficient, and we would certainly not recommend this venue to any of our friends who are getting married as a result of this experience.

I was so lucky to have Alexia coordinating all of the details! She was professional, patient and quick to respond to any questions I had. She was really thorough working through all the details with us and making sure we understood the flow and process of every detail of the day. Also very willing to meet in person at any time to go over details. I had complete faith in her, and our reception ran so smoothly. She was great, and I enjoyed working with her!

t again in a heartbeat. Having an elegant, pull-out-all-the-stops reception is SO EASY at the West Shore. You barely have to lift a finger - my entire (incredible) reception was planned in just one meeting. Alexia was a joy to work with. She really knows what she's doing, and she thinks of everything. I didn't even have to coordinate vendors like DJ, flowers, etc. because she worked directly with them (I found that most, if not all, the vendors I used had worked with the Club before). Alexia even went ahead and rescheduled tent setup for the annual golf tournament so it wouldn't interfere with the ambiance of cocktail hour. Not a single detail was missing. And on the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly! Our waiters were an absolute joy, and they knew just how to serve a formal wedding dinner. They not only made sure that we had everything we needed on a schedule that would allow us to do table visits, they also made all our guests feel welcome and took care of absolutely everything. Conventional wisdom holds that there is always something that goes wrong at your reception, but not a single thing was wrong, misplaced, or forgotten at mine - and full credit for that goes to Alexia and her team at the West Shore Country Club.
