I loved the McCreery house! So many things can be said in high praise for Julie, her staff, and the location! It truly was an honor to work with her and have her by our side planning everything! Julie is phenomenal to work with, she is so kind, helpful, and has her system down to work so smoothly making the day as stress-free as possible! Julie was not only our day of event planner and wedding planner, she was our honored guest too! Thank you so much for all your help and support Julie!

The wedding at the McCreery House was absolutely amazing. Julie helped make the entire wedding planning process so much nicer too. The initial price is higher, but it ended up being way more cost effective than other cheaper venues due to the food and alcohol situation (Julie will gladly go over it with you). We cannot thank Julie enough for all of her thoughtfulness!

Wow! After our wedding at the McCreery House....I was speechless. Everything came together for our day. Julie, is, like the fairy godmother every bride needs. Anytime I had any doubt about planning, she calmed my panic attack with very calming & reassuring words. We were sold by the property, but Julie being our event planner, SEALED the DEAL! Seamless delivery & performance by every one on staff. If you really want a venue, with a wedding planner, Julie is your go too. The venue speaks for itself.

My husband and I felt so overwhelmed when trying to find a venue. Then we found Julie & McCreery House, and thank goodness we did! From the first time we toured the venue, it was clear that Julie had our best interest at heart. It can be scary to entrust the biggest day of your life to someone you’ve just met, but we knew we could trust Julie the whole way. She continually checked in with us throughout the entire planning process: making recommendations where we needed them, giving us the freedom to include personal details that were important to us, and keeping us calm and stress-free all the way up to and including our wedding day. Our wedding was more beautiful, and unique to us, than we could have ever imagined. It was a perfect, stress-free day for us & our guests. We are so, so endlessly thankful that Julie & the McCreery House made it all possible.

The McCreery House is the PERFECT venue. Getting married here was so low stress for us, Julie and her staff are exceptional and so accommodating! Julie is such a gem, she helped us out with whatever we asked along the way. She handled everything for us and knew exactly what we needed and when we needed it! Julie made our dream wedding come true at the McCreery House! The beautiful venue gave the wedding a relaxed, intimate feeling. Giant trees in the backyard shaded the ceremony and reception area. Julie worked with my husband and me all the way from California and took care of everything. She gave us tips, suggested vendors that worked well with her venue, and gave us the freedom to do whatever it was we envisioned. She and her team took care of set up and complete takedown and made sure someone had all of our things to take home even after my husband and I had left. I 100% recommend this venue to anyone who is wanting the perfect wedding!

The McCreery House was a perfect venue for our wedding! Ours was a late-in-life second marriage and we were looking for a location to have a small, intimate wedding with just family and very close friends. We couldn't have found a better place! The grounds and everything about the venue were delightful. Julie Marsh, the owner of the venue, was wonderful to work with. Ours was a destination wedding, and Julie took care of all our details for us. Julie was a true professional in every sense of the word and our wedding day went off flawlessly.

Julie Marsh and the staff at McCreery are ROCK STARS! Julie was substitute mom, wedding planner, visionary, voice of reason and voice of wisdom, and everything in between for our daughter and son-in-law. She worked with the bride and groom for over a year, and worked so hard to make sure they got what they wanted. Everything came off without a hitch, and there were hitches to be had...early birds for the ceremony, unexpected guests for dinner, a late groom and groomsman. But Julie and staff remained unflappable through it all! Julie listened, embraced the vision and made it all work seamlessly. Our motto became "In Julie We Trust" and we did! The wedding was Memorial Day weekend 2022 and the gardens were costarring with the bride and groom. When an unexpected hard frost came through two weeks before the wedding, Julie knew the bride and groom would be concerned. So she moved the annuals and planters indoors for protection and sent pictures and reassurances to the bride and groom that all was well. The stress relief that came from that one act of kindness was priceless. As the MIB (who lives out of state) and from the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank Julie and McCreery House enough.

Julie and the McCreery House is perfection. We've been planning our wedding with Julie for almost two years and she is family now. If you want to be truly taken care of and for your guests to have an absolute blast - McCreery House is your place. Corey and I didn't have a vision for our wedding - other than we wanted to have pretty landscaping, great food, music, booze and lots of fun and laughter. We received so many compliments from guests about how perfect our wedding was - that it felt like a garden dream. I cannot recommend Julie and the McCreery House enough!!!

From our first tour to our grand exit, the McCreery House proved to be a phenomenal venue! Julie does an amazing job at every step of the way, from being extremely flexible with vendor options to making sure that every little detail on the wedding day is accounted for. She was so helpful in the months leading up, accommodating our requests to add a few more planning meetings and serving as a perfect sounding board for all of our ideas. The wedding itself turned out beautiful too - her and her staff were not only incredibly kind, but they worked meticulously to make every part of the venue look picture perfect. Our wedding at the McCreery House was absolutely magical! The venue is beautiful, very well-kept, and was built a few generations ago, so you get the old-fashioned Victorian-style flair. But if you're looking at this venue, you already know that. What you don't know is what you get when you decide to get married here. You get Julie. You *want* Julie! Julie owns, operates, and maintains the venue, and she also serves as your wedding planner. Nervous about wedding planning and not sure where to start? Julie. Have a rough idea but not sure about the decor, colors, centerpieces, etc? Julie-- she has a great eye for what looks good and a collection of place settings she makes available to you. Planning a wedding in 2020 and then the pandemic strikes and you have to cancel and postpone it until 2021 (yes, this happened to us)? Julie! She knows and has worked with many of the local vendors (catering, drinks, DJ, bartending, etc.) and was willing and able to help us push out wedding date back a whole year. Julie is easy-going and tackles everything with smile. She knows the venue in-and-out and works with you to help you through the stressful process of figuring out what you really want. She helps you handle everything from sending invites to keeping the wedding running smoothly. One notable example from our wedding: when Sarah (my now wife) was ready to walk down the isle, it started drizzling. Sarah and I had a plan for rain, but we didn't have a plan for light rain during the ceremony. Without a word, Julie pops in and out of the McCreery House with a very picturesque umbrella to hand to Sarah's father so they can walk together without getting wet. Perfect. Do yourself a favor and at least go meet Julie and see the McCreery house. If your experience is anything like ours, you'll fall in love with the place and never look back.

Julie is amazing! I can not say enough good things about my experience with Julie and the McCreery house. Julie is there is help you from step one of planning your wedding. Julie is not only the owner of the McCreery house but she also acts as a coordinater/planning for your wedding. She is there to make sure you have everything you need in terms of vendors, decor, etc. She answered every question I had and she is amazing at responding fast. When things went wrong with planning, like a vendor backing out a month before the wedding, Julie stepped in the make sure we were taken care of when she really didn't have to. You get an unique experience when booking with McCreery house. You have someone who cares about you and your wedding. Not to mention Julie has put so much work into the McCreery house it is so beautiful. I would highly recommend working with Julie!

Best wedding experience ever! I have never been married nor have I planned a wedding before, but Julie was very organized prepared and eased all of my wedding anxiety. The venue is beautifully decorated in a vintage style, which fit my fiancée and I perfectly. Our day was seamlessly easy and beautiful. Julie had everything set up before we arrived, and all the vendors did such an incredible job. Julie has connections to vendors who are amazing and will give you a good price!

This is, without a doubt, a wonderful place to have a wedding or special event. My son and now daughter were married here on July 4 and it was a magical event. Julie, the proprietor, truly cares and goes above and beyond. The gardens are beautiful. Our wedding experience at the McCreery House was incredible! From the very beginning, we could tell Julie truly cared about making our wedding day the best it could possibly be. She was extremely helpful and had answers or suggestions for any little thing we had questions on along the way. Our wedding day went flawlessly, which we fully attribute to Julie's preparedness and desire for it to be the best day of our lives. She made sure that all of our guests felt welcome and didn't have to lift a finger. From making our grandparents dinner plates so they didn't have to get up and wait in the buffet line, to holding babies so their parents could eat, to continuously adjusting umbrellas so guests were always shaded at their tables (to name a few), she truly did it all and made it a fantastic experience for us and all of our guests. We truly cannot say enough about Julie, her staff, and the experience we had with the McCreery House. We received countless compliments from guests on how much they enjoyed our wedding. We have zero regrets and would do it all over again if we had the choice.

Julie and her team did an amazing job. Julie is passionate about making your event special and it really shows. It is great working with the same person from start to finish. The venue is beautiful and private and very unique. It is very close to a cute downtown area with plenty of food and drink options. Julie and her team came together to create an amazing outdoor wedding that we will never forget. Even when the weather took a turn for the worse, Julie had table covers, heaters, and the staff available to transition seamlessly. We would highly recommend McCreery House to anyone looking for a small to medium sized wedding.

Julie is just the best!! It was very hard to plan a wedding during a pandemic but Julie was so helpful, professional, sympathetic, and understanding. She always had excellent suggestions to any problem or issue that came up. The venue was just beautiful and gorgeous! Perfect for that intimate family backyard wedding that we wanted. The grounds were maintained perfectly and I cannot count how many of my guests came to me and said what an incredible venue and little oasis the McCreery house was! The McCreery House is a beautiful historical building, and is a venue that is perfect for smaller weddings. From my first interaction with Julie over email (I was planning a wedding from a different country) to our final day, Julie was and is an exceptional coordinator and host. Her constant affirmations and clarifications made decisions easy. During COVID, she went out of her way to make sure she had correct information and communicated clearly about the health expectations of the event. Other vendors and situations stressed me out (our caterers backed out the week before the wedding), but Julie and the McCreery House never did. On the day of, I dropped off decorations between mini-virtual receptions for friends and family who couldn't make it, and we showed up to everything beautifully decorated and set up. Our experiences at the McCreery House and with Julie exceeded our expectations, and made our celebration a success!

We had the most amazing experience with the McCreery House and Julie, along with her staff. From the very beginning Julie was so patient and informative and most importantly always available to us. She has so much attention to detail, things I had never thought of. The venue is stunning, garden backyard with water fountains and a beautiful arch, twinkle lights over the dance floor, large cascading (maybe an Oak tree) trees, large flat rock isle, breath taking wrap around porch, and so much more to look at! Julie has many recommendations with outside vendors with established relationships with the McCreery house that I highly recommend. This created a smooth day as the vendors already knew the lay of the land. We brought in a family friend band who had not played at this venue before and had a great time meeting with Julie ahead of time to make the wedding day smooth. Julie takes charge for you and keeps you on your timeline, eliminating the "what do we do next" feeling. The staff working our wedding was quiet, professional, all smiles and well wishes, and always kept our guests drinks full (even with an open bar we provided) and empty plates cleared. We stayed the night at the house alone that night, the staff had the venue cleaned to its original state within 2 hours. We had the most magical time alone in the garden talking about the night, eating left over food, cake and wine. In the morning we woke to the smell of coffee, Julie had us prepared a wonderful breakfast with beautiful antique dishware. The details of this house is unbelievable until you see for yourself! If you are looking for an affordable venue, accompanied with an on site angle (Julie) who will guide you every step of the way and give you genuine care, then I highly recommend The McCreery House! There is not a single thing I regret or wish had gone differently, I am truly grateful for this team and for making all my dreams come true on the best night of my life.

We cannot say enough about how incredible our experience has been with the McCreery House. From our first tour with Julie, my now husband and I walked away from the venue that day knowing that’s where we were going to book our wedding. The venue itself is gorgeous and unique, but Julie is a large part of why we selected this venue. My husband and I got married at the McCreery House in September of 2019. We had been planning our wedding with since August of 2018. The whole process of it all was a breeze thanks to Julie. The McCreery House goes above and beyond to make sure your wedding day is perfect, and everything you've ever wanted. Julie was available for multiple meetings through the year to check in and talk everything over. She always had advice for us, and a back up plan for any situation! The garden was so full and green on our wedding day, it was wonderful for pictures! In the evening the lighting by the house and dance floor is beautiful and romantic. We are so glad we chose the Mccreery House for our venue. Julie, the owner of McCreery House, is amazing and had such good advice; she answered any questions we had and made the best suggestions about everything from where to get alterations to the best kind of candles to use. I was married on September 20th at the McCreery House and it was an absolute dream come true!! Julie and her team did a fantastic job and made the whole night flow seamlessly. Since the first time I met with Julie I knew she would be the perfect person to help me with this wedding. It couldn't have been more of a success!! The backyard literally transformed into a wonderland. I'm so happy with choosing the McCreery House. The McCreery House is the perfect venue!! It's beautiful, charming, romantic, and comes with everything you need. You won't have to worry about tables, linens, dishware, chairs, etc. because they're all included. The price is amazing for what you get, especially because the owner (Julie) is included as a coordinator. Julie helped me plan throughout the year, had great recommendations for vendors, and was a fantastic day-of coordinator. It was amazing to know that everything was taken care of and in good hands the day of my wedding. It was important to us that myself, my husband, and our family didn't have to run around working during the wedding, so knowing that Julie and her staff had everything under control was a huge relief. We received so many compliments on our wedding - everyone loved the venue and said it was absolutely perfect, beautiful, and the best wedding they've been to in a long time. I couldn't have done it without Julie and her perfect venue. I couldn't be happier and am so glad I found this gem, so much so, that I'll be using this venue again in the future if I need a place to host anything else.

The McCreery House is a truly special place. This historic home nestled in downtown Loveland, CO provided a relaxing, intimate, and gorgeous backdrop for our special day. The venue can be described as vintage and classic - and the garden has a way of making you (and your guests) feel at at home and at ease. While this venue could be an excellent setting for any type of wedding guest list - our wedding was very family friendly and I can say with complete confidence that everyone from the age of 2-92 had a blast on the dance floor! Due to the McCreery House's proximity to downtown Loveland, it is a perfect location for a wedding and an after party at one (or two or three) of the local bars and brewery's downtown. It is even close enough for guests to walk (we all did!). Additionally, Julie offers clients the ability to stay the night at the venue (it is a Bed and Breakfast when not hosting events) which made planning the whole night completely stress free. Julie goes above and beyond in her attention to detail and customer service. Her passion for event and wedding planning is evident in her care for her clients and ability to develop trusting relationships. Julie was there for us every step of the way! I highly recommend this venue!

Our experience with the McCreery House was fantastic. Julie, the owner and operator of the venue, is phenomenal to work with, and made choosing the McCreery house the best decision we could have made for our wedding. Due to Julie’s connections, she was able to help us select several vendors that were very cost effective for our budget and did not require that food be attached to any specific vendors, which saved us thousands of dollars. This was very much appreciated. Whenever we wanted to discuss anything about our wedding, or tour the site to figure out details, Julie was always quick to respond and very available. On our wedding day everything ran so smoothly with Julie behind the scenes. Julie made our experience the least stressful wedding experience I’ve ever heard of, and I couldn’t believe how easily everything flowed throughout the day. We also were able to stay in the house, and Julie made us a wonderful breakfast in the morning, which was a great way to start the next day after the wedding. I can’t say enough about the care and concern Julie puts into every detail, and what a blessing it was to be able to share our big day at her beautiful venue.

Julie and her day of team were great- everything was step up beautifully and ran smoothly. I’m a bit of a planner so it was so great having someone we could trust to handle everything day of, so we could just focus on enjoying our wedding. We were a little worried about the weather, but Julie had a weather plan in place. It didn’t end up raining but the tent set up worked out great. Julie and the McCreery house are absolutely wonderful! We saw several other vendors and no staff or place made us feel more special on our first visit! Through the process Julie was accommodating, flexible, and very sweet! She was honest about vendors and food and truly knows what she is doing. The day of was absolutely perfect. Ceremony, tents, tables, decorations are set up and breathtaking when you get there. Julie made our special day effortless! She took care of everything and kept everything running smoothly, and on time with a sweet calm demeanor (even when the groom forgot the marriage liscense! She didn't breathe a word to the bridal party). The house is rustic and beautiful and the garden is well kept and stunning. We had a blast dancing the night away on the back yard stone dance floor. Words can't describe the feeling of the perfect day at the perfect location!

The McCreery house was great for our wedding celebration! We started our planning 6 months before the event and after seeing a few other venues we knew that the McCreery House was going to be our spot the second we walked in. Julie and team helped walk us through what our event would require and went above and beyond to keep things moving along throughout our planning process. We had food vendor issues... Julie came to the rescue and got us in touch with a new vendor she had worked with in the past. It ended up being a far better meal and presentation that what the other vendor had presented. The day of the entire staff had a laid back feel making the ceremony go well without added stress of trying to deal with little issues ourselves. Without Julie and team we would have had to get a coordinator which would have cost even more money. I can't recommend the McCreery House enough!

Our experience with Julie Marsh and the McCreery House was absolutely amazing. From the first time visiting the venue, we fell in love with the charm and beauty of the place. The backyard is open but intimate, and the house is unique and inviting to exploration. During that first tour of the venue, we could immediately imagine our wedding day there. And it was very clear that the dedication and care that Julie gives the venue, she also gives to her clients. As my wife and I fumbled through the wedding planning process, Julie was always encouraging, supportive, and resourceful. She is simply someone who has a natural skill of putting others at ease. As the plan for our day began taking shape, we never felt judgement from Julie about any of our quirkier ideas and we felt she was truly invested in our wedding and in us. We did not feel like customers but rather friends. She guided us through the planning stages and my wife and I look back at how relatively stress-free the whole process actually went. And then, when the big day actually arrived, Julie as the Day-of Coordinator, made sure that everything went smoothly. Her and her staff made sure the multitude of moving parts (when to move tables, where to direct the food set-up, how to direct aimlessly roving guests) went without a hitch. She helped us develop our perfect wedding, then she helped make it a reality. Julie is amazing and it is obvious that she cares deeply for what she does because the whole place just radiates with that same warmth and compassion. Julie at the McCreery House absolutely made our wedding day, the best day we could have imagined. She was willing to go above and beyond to help me in every way possible, whether it was helping me answer questions or emailing my on the 23rd of every month prior to my wedding to offer her assistance with planning. The venue itself was beautiful and worked perfect for our day. The intimate setting and beautiful scenery contributed to a lovely ambience and a great backdrop for our pictures. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would!

My husband and I had such an amazing experience here at the McCreery house! Julie was incredibly helpful with finding vendors and had so many recommendations. She really took her time to know us and our taste! She met up with us throughout all of the months until the actual date and always offered some sort of help! We got married in the beginning of September and the venue was beautiful she has so much greenery and different kinds of flowers everywhere. Julie organized my wedding in a professional and incredibly detailed way and the actual day was perfect! 10/10

This venue was a dream come true! Having our wedding and reception here was the best decision! The venue included tables, chairs, napkins, silverware, and plates! We did not have to worry about a thing. Julie and her staff were incredible and helped our day run smoothly with no worries! Julie helped plan our day and worked with our budget. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and about Julie! We loved every minute of planning with her as well as our whole day! Not to mention our guests loved the venue! I 100% would have my wedding here again!

We had the BEST experience with Julie and The McCreery House. From the very beginning of planning, she was an absolute gem to work with. Throughout the entire process, from the day we chose the venue to the day of the wedding, she was with us 100%. She continually checked in, making sure we were checking everything off our list and offering her assistance. Meetings with her are professional, fun and productive. Our wedding was my absolute DREAM wedding and we couldn't have done it without her. She meticulously maintains the grounds, so decorations are really an accent to the natural beauty. This venue is absolute perfection in every way.

We first chose the McCreery House based on its unique aesthetics and history. First of all I would just like to point out that after being done with the cerimony that it was the most beautiful wedding I could have dreamed of (The deep red of the house as well as the hanging lights made the space and photos look like a fairytale). But after we chose the space we found that the real reason we ended up paying for the venue was because of how trustworthy and easy-going and personable Julie is. She herself owns the venue and does everything herself. NOT A SINGLE THING WENT WRONG THROUGH OUR ENTIRE PROCESS! Down to the morning after the wedding when we woke up at the McCreery House to her amazing cooking, and when we left for our honeymoon, not a thing went anything but according to plan. She was extremely supportive of anything and was never too involved either! You can do full service for an extra $200 and I would definitely suggest it. The one thing that almost turned me off at first about this venue was the 9pm curfew (for the main music) however in the end this worked out great because it got people leaving early (they could have stayed inside with us if they wanted) but we then held an after party somewhere else and it made it perfect for being able to spend time with our closest friends before my new husband and I came back to the McCreery House later that night to stay overnight! I could not have been happier about our decision! 6 stars!
