Amazing!! The phone call before the wedding to set up the timeline took SO much stress off of me and got me more excited for the BIG day!! During the wedding, he was awesome with making sure me and my husband were good and everything was GREAT!

Rob is the best there is! He made sure everyone was having a good time and kept everything running smoothly. His high level of experience and personability makes him the hands down best choice for any event! He even got my grandma out on the dance floor!

Working with Rob for our wedding reception this past July was a pleasure - he's very professional and thorough. I was impressed with his commitment to making the day go perfectly. Package pricing is very fair for a great quality DJ service - we have all been to weddings where the dance floor is a total flop, but Rob did an excellent job with music, lighting, and emceeing. Robert made the process easy with phone calls and an online platform for music requests prior to the wedding and he was like having a friend around on our wedding day - great service!

Robert was there early to help set up , played great music and got all of our requests in, was very professional and got everyone out on the dance floor. He had everyone dancing including those grandparents who we thought we would never get on the dance floor, and fun was had by all! He is more than your average DJ. He was by my side all night asking me if I needed water , helped with my wedding dress bustle, and let us know when and how things would be happening! Rob with Sword Sounds was a perfect picture of everything a DJ service ought to be and then some. From the pricing to the last second changes to the day-of, he went well out of his way to ensure things went the way we wanted for our wedding. Rob was beyond just accommodating, and he communicated perfectly (not too little, not too much) the whole time we worked with him. We also rented, as an extra service, his "Insta Booth," which was a fantastic service that we didn't even realize we or our guests needed. The ability for them to text their own pictures to themselves with a custom frame was awesome, and it gave everybody something to share about their trip to celebrate with us right away. It was a hit, and it basically provided all our guests souvenir photos to remember the night. As a bonus, it serves as an extra "guest book" where we get to see all the photos of our families and friends enjoying themselves. DJ Sword got everybody dancing, listened to our requests perfectly, did what was asked, avoided what was asked to be avoided, and played host as well. Given the quotes we received from others for a similar service, I am positive we could have found no greater value. We cannot recommend Sword Sounds strongly enough. Fantastic DJ, photo booth was awesome and so fun, and everything was a fantastic value.

Our wedding was small but he was really good at reading the crowd. He listened to everything we said we wanted, and you could tell he knew what he was doing.

Robert was extremely helpful and responsive from the very first inquiry. Through the planning process, he was very thorough and gave great suggestions and tips. The day of the wedding, Robert was so nice and friendly. We really enjoyed that he took the time to speak with us and our guests and get to know everyone. When requests were made, they were played almost immediately and every 'must-have' that my husband and I requested during our planning process was played. Our wedding was very unique and had quite a few interesting ideas that may not be found among the normal wedding fare. Sword Sounds went out of their way to ensure they had equipment for both ceremony site and reception site. They were fantastic hosts for all our announcements and several guest games. They never got any names wrong and stepped in with whatever I needed.

Y’all - You need to hire Rob. I know very little about weddings and when tasked with planning my own, I cannot tell you just how HELPFUL he was every step along the way. He answered everything quickly, made sure we got to eat on the big day, played all of our song requests, and he’s a joy to be around. 10/10 recommend!

Robert was great! He was quick with communication and provided helpful tools for planning our timeline. He is also great at managing the the course of event and did very well reading the crowd. Super helpful so that we did not have to worry at all during the reception.

Robert was awesome! He was patient and generous when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and was exactly what we needed at our rescheduled wedding. He was very helpful throughout the entire process from beginning to end. He was even patient as we were overzealous in putting too many things into our do not play list. Robert was extremely easy to work with, prompt in his responses, and very professional. He helped provide the structure that our event so desperately needed, and for a very fair price. I would recommend this company to any friend or family member in search of a DJ.

I was so glad we hired Robert for our DJ services. Everyone at the wedding had a blast and was dancing all night. He let me know what needed to be done throughout the night and would let me give him a nod when I was ready to do things such as the toast. Robert even took the time to call me a week or two before the event and spent almost 30 mins going over every detail from the wedding, what he needed from us, and what he would take care of. He even helped me do a fun gag event during the removal of my brides garter where he brought a black chair up that was specially designed to hide a bag of toys and gimmicks to throw out as if they were all under the brides dress. When I threw out the rubber chicken the crowd lost it. It was such a good time. I would highly recommend Sword Sounds for any event. They were a pleasure to have at the wedding.

Rob stepped in and saved the day for our wedding! He jumped in to replace our other DJ within DAYS of our wedding. He was so kind and a really fun and great DJ. Everyone loved the music and the flow was perfect. Thanks Rob!!

We literally got married yesterday (5/8/2021) and I couldn’t wait to write this review. We hired Sword Sounds last fall for our wedding and the owner, Robert and his business partner, Dan, were so easy to work with from the get-go. They were responsive, accommodating and just easy to work with. The month prior to the wedding, I was in touch regularly with Dan, who made sure he had every song we wanted for the ceremony and reception downloaded ahead of time just in case the WiFi wasn’t strong enough. Fast forward to yesterday and Dan was just AWESOME! We had a relatively small wedding (56 guests total came) and not too many dancers, but he made it all work seamlessly. It really was the most perfect day. We ABSOLUTELY recommend Sword Sounds for your wedding or event!!

Robert and Justin played a HUGE part in making our wedding day perfect! If you hire them you are getting a bundled deal. Not only did they provide music and create a fun environment, they made sure to check on us constantly to ensure we didn’t need anything. During cocktail hour Robert brought the groom and I a small plate of food to snack on and ensured us and the bridal party had drinks as well. I did not know it at the time but Robert was taking photos for us the entire day as well and posted them to his facebook page the next day! Although we hired a photographer, we will not get those photos back until they are done being edited which could take months. It was so nice to be able to relive parts of the day and night thanks to the photos Robert took. During the planning process I was the most unsure and indecisive bride ever. Robert helped me figure out how we wanted the day to go and helped organize the scattered ideas I had for our big day. He had a way of being able to remind us to stay on schedule without making us feel rushed or stressed. I can confidently say that our day went as smoothly as it did thanks to Robert and his son, Justin!

Best DJ service ever!! He made our wedding really fun and was very professional. He was a huge help with the day of coordination and was a huge help considering we were trying to do everything on our own. He stepped in and assisted us with everything to make.sure everything went exactly how it should. We cannot thank him enough for every5. If we could give 10 stars we would. Thank you so much!!

Rob Sword is so great! He is incredibly personable and will take the time to meet with you several times leading up to your wedding. He is well-versed in music and has an impressive selection of songs. He showed up early, mingled with our guests to learn what songs they wanted to hear played, engaged our reception crowd any time the party needed a boost, and stayed in constant communication with us the entire evening (making sure we knew what was coming up and when). DJ's can make or break a wedding reception and Rob nailed it when it came to our ceremony music as well as keeping our reception flowing/alive. I would recommend Rob to anyone and everyone!

When I met Rob for the first time, I knew my wedding was going to be organized and structured just the way I wanted. He is so personable and knowledgeable. He does an amazing job, is very helpful, and is a class act. He provided our uplighting, ceremony music, and dj music for the reception. You definitely want to use him for your special day!

Rob was a great DJ. He kept the party going the WHOLE time and even bustled my dress! :) He was a lot of fun to work with and stayed with our plan. He really is great to work with! Highly suggest you hire him!!

B-- Originally I booked Rob w/Sword Sounds but due to a family emergency he couldn't be our DJ so his co-worker Dan took over for him. I was a little panicked but Dan was nice and reassured me of everything would work out. As it got closer to the wedding, he was a little slow at responding to my emails but he did say that March was his busiest month (I was trying to be understanding.) He followed our itenerary close and kept us on schedule. He followed our do not play/play lists. He did take requests from guests like we requested. However, I was looking for him to be a little more interactive with our guests and he wasn't.

One of my best vendors. Really worked hard to make my night as easy as it could be! Very professional and easy to work with! Quick to respond to all calls. Has alot of knowledge and experience and good recommendations. Was able to make the best decisions in the spur of the moment the day of the event when things didnt go as planned, and consulted with me the moment he was able to make sure the decisions he made were acceptable. Was very nice to my guests. Everyone loved him. If we ever need a DJ again I will use him!!!! I also used his uplighting and gobo, which turned out great!

Rob was very accommodating and helped a great deal with timing. The guests were very pleased with the music choices.

DJ - Dan Williams was great, very upbeat and kept the party going. I thought the speakers were too big and took up a lot of space for my number of guests and the music was a little too loud for the space as well. There were a couple of glitches with two announcements during the garter & bouquet toss as we did something different from the traditional. Almost all of our guests were married so we put on the DJ's itinerary to have ALL female guest come out for a prize if you caught the bouquet and the same for the gents, but DJ forgot both times and announced for single guests and no one got up- so a little confusion there and we had to remind him. Over all I was very satisfied and would use this company again. They could improve on there web page to make it more user friendly & quicker to use - needs to be updated. The DJ is very personable and I would definately recommend him. A nice surprise at the end - he gave us a CD of all our music.

Rob did a great job DJ'ing our wedding reception. He did a good job sticking to the kind of music we liked, while also keeping all of our guests happy. He played music that appealed to all ages, which kept the dance floor full throughout most of the night! He

Rob orchestrated the best party I've ever been to. Just so happened it was also my wedding! Rob really read the crowd and kept the dance floor full ALL night. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!

Everyone says great things about Rob Sword, and for good reason. He's a very nice guy and did a great job DJing our reception. The music he played was great for guests of all ages, and he stuck to our request and do-not-play lists all night. The dance floor was packed until we closed down the party, which is just what we wanted. Rob incorporated his choices into the music from time to time, and they were all big hits. We were so glad we hired Rob to DJ our party!

Rob was very good about explaining the flow of the event and gave suggestions on the types of music based on our preferences. The online system to rank must-plays and like-to-plays was helpful. I really appreciate that he had the venue bring our meals out first so we could eat and say thank you to all of our guests during dinner!

Robert Sword was great! He listened to what I wanted and even strung together music clips I wanted of each table song I had chosen. After dinner he played the mix of song clips and the guests were told to join the wedding party on teh dance floor when they heard their song clip. It worked out great. He played amazing music and took suggestions from the guests. Great!

Rob acted as our officiant and DJ for our wedding. We have nothing to say about Rob that isn't good. He was very professional and patient with us the entire time. He found some of the oddball songs that we requested, helped out the grooms with getting our lapels on, and was incredibly friendly wit everyone. If you are looking for a DJ/officiant we highly recommend him.

Rob Sword of Sword Sounds arranged the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and after party. His easy to use website helped me to create a must play and no play list. In addition, Rob spent over an hour on the phone with me a few nights before the wedding covering all of the details, and he even tracked down some rare songs i wanted for the ceremony. Our dance floor was packed ALL night- and Rob was responsible! He also went above and beyond his duties as 'DJ'. He was part wedding coordinator as well, helping us to keep on track through out the night and make sure everything went smoothly!

I had Dan the Dj for my wedding, he is an employee of Rob Sword, but has all his own equipment and I was in direct contact with Dan the majority of the time. Dan was a great guy! He was wild but you could tell he loved his job! A couple weeks before the wedding I had finally chosen my music, when I let Dan know he got right on it. A few days before the wedding we still had not secured the music I had chosen for the ceremony, but Dan was a savior. We reworked some music and he ended up having a great choice for the family to walk down the aisle to, as for my music, he spent hours trying to change my song on youtube from a video file to an mp3 file so that it would work and sound right, he nailed it! It was perfect! I could not have been happier with Dan! He was excited and kept the guests entertained all night with great music. At one point I even think he had some tambourines out for the guests! I recommend Dan to any and all brides!

Rob Sword was a great DJ, he had everyone from my grandmas to the groomsmen on their feet and having a wonderful time. He kept the day going from walking down the aisle to the last dance! He even made our ceremony special by playing a reading done by the groom as a child.

I used Sword Sounds for my wedding reception. Rob was my DJ. Setting everything up with him was a total breeze!! My guests LOVED the fact he went around asking for requests. He played most every song I had on my list (that time allowed). He made sure I knew when each mini event (garter, cake, etc) was about to happen so I could get ready & put my mind at ease.
