Ferrante's Lakeview is a beautiful wedding venue located near Pittsburgh in Greensburg, PA. There, the team has been specializing in personalized weddings for more than 65 years. During this time, they have hosted everything from wedding showers and luncheons to rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions, creating unforgettable experiences for couples and their guests. First opened by three brothers, Ferrante's Lakeview remains family-owned and committed to the same level of excellence as it was decades ago. Today, the venue has expanded to include four event rooms and a gazebo, providing you with flexibility and choice for your special day. Your ceremony can be held out in the gazebo, which offers stunning views of the lake and provides a picturesque setting for your exchange of vows. Alternatively, take your “I dos” indoors for an equally beautiful ceremony. After, choose between one of several event spaces. The Imperial Room is a lovely setting for up to 125 individuals to dine and dance the night away. The Crystal Room can accommodate larger celebrations of up to 290 for a seated dinner, while the Lakeside and Riviera Rooms are perfectly suited to celebrations of up to 200 guests each. No matter which space you select for your reception, expect an elegant setting along with exceptional service. The in-house wedding specialists and planners can guide you every step of the way, ensuring your special day is tailored to your style and overall vibe. When working with these expert planners, couples are offered support throughout the process, receiving assistance with selecting anything from the right decor to match their aesthetic to the photographer, florist, and wedding menu from the in-house catering team. Christina started her career at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in 2005 in weddings and events. After working her way up to the Director of Weddings and Special Events, Christina decided to come back to her roots in Greensburg and join her family as the third generation owner.

I have no idea why they received all of these good reviews. They try to price gouge you for everything. They even wanted to charge us for water for our centerpices, charged me for ...

use of my own table runners! It got so bad that I started referring to them as the upcharge ladies. They were not easy to work with or get ahold of at times. Very friendly at the actual reception but when we tried to come get everything ready they had tablecloths unevenly thrown on food tables over skirting stating "that is how we always do it." Some had staines, tablecloths on tables had hard folds in them. The utensils were all missmatched and cheap. They overcharge you for chair covers. We had our own company that was 1/3 of the price and they said it would have been a $4 upcharge per chair if we have our own company come in. The company we had did not even upcharge for solid chair sashes like they do. With their fee it would make the new company $0.50 more than their rate. I was planning this wedding out of state and they did not make my life very easy. Everything needed to be cleaned up that night and we were expected to do it, they did help some. Not impressed, food was ok.

We had the opportunity to switch rooms at the last minute, and had some last minute guest changes, and they handled all of this in stride. Overall, venue, food, and service exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

rea, so we only came twice in person to go over details and what not. The rest, we did via E-Mail with Suzie. They provided mostly everything we needed at a very affordable cost! I was a little worried about the location being so close to a main road-but the gazebo area was kind of isolated away from it all, and I didn't even notice! Plus, our pictures had a great backdrop :). Suzie and Cindy were very helpful with everything, and the whole wedding went without a hitch! I highly recommend this venue for anyone who's getting married!

everyone loved the food! We didn't do any traditional wedding stuff so we had more time to dance and celebrate our day!! They boxed up all the extras so we had food to try on our honeymoon since we didn't really eat that nite. The staff was gracious and very pleasant which all our guests took note of. The pictures with the fall leaves are unbelievably gorgeous as well! It was a great price for a perfect day! Couldn't have asked for anything more :)

We have heard many compliments about how the owners oversee every one of their events down to every detail. And they were right! We are so happy with the service we received at Lakeview. Firstly, Lakeviews pricing for wedding receptions is by far the most reasonable we have found in the area. The price per person includes bar tab as well. We chose a sit down dinner and were very happy with our choice. Next, Cindy and Susie helped to plan every part of our reception including giving us recommendations for vendors, showing us pictures of past weddings and helping to pick out color swatches and decorations. They were able to modify everything to include all of our wishes that we envisioned for our big day. We got so many compliments after the wedding about the great service by the servers at Lakeview. Specifically, we were told by so many guests of how delicious their meal was including large portion sizes for the sit down dinner. One complaint we did have is about bar service. We talked to Cindy and Susie about having friendlier bartenders as a few rude comments were made to our guests. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Lakeview as a reception venue for anyone looking to have a reasonably priced beautiful wedding reception! Thank you, Cindy and Susie!

Just settled out of court from my daughters 11/15/14 wedding. Due to overflowing toilets, we had to leave around 7:30 because the water was being shutoff. We found out durting this...

proicess thgat is is amn ongoung problem. They wouldn't box up the food and let us take it due to this catastrophe. We had to dismantle the cake ourselves and box up our cookies to ensure we at least had that. A very disappointing evening for us and our daughter. I would suggest not patronizing this place due to these issues.

or budgeting!) I wanted to incorporate a number of different colors in my wedding decorations, and Lakeview worked with me to make my vision come to life! It was gorgeous! My guests were raving about the delicious meals! All the food was warm and came out quickly. The Lakeview staff was very friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

ed in that price which is nice for the grooms parents who often pay for the alcohol. It's not convenient when people cancel at the last minute and you end up paying for their meal and alcohol that they didn't drink. They box up the extra meals for you, but you end up paying the full, alcohol included price. You can add meals up until the day before your event, but you can't take any away. I wanted chair covers, which you can rent from them. They get them from a company in Michigan so you have to cover the cost of shipping. I found that there were lots of hidden costs like this. It was $70 to ship them there and back. I had a photobooth and there was an extra $50 fee for "electricity." Photobooths are basically a desktop computer and a printer. I read many reviews about Lakeview before deciding on it and none of them told me about these extra costs. You also cannot sample the food. The food was good, but I would have liked to sample beforehand. That was risky to me. You are allotted exactly 5 hours. There is no overtime. You cannot ask your DJ to play for longer. This means my reception started with cocktails at 4pm and ended at 9pm, which seemed so early! They also have a really weird, miniature Statue of Liberty outside. Overall, it was a beautiful event. There were times that I regretted having my reception there just because of the hidden costs and lack of a personalized experience. My guests never knew any of that, but you should know before you're wooed by how beautiful it is there.

ompared to other venues I researched, their prices are very reasonable for everything you get. They have been around for a long time and there's a reason why...they know what they are doing!!! The only "downside" I suppose was I wanted to have a band and they told me "no" because they didnt have the voltage to support their equipment since there were 2 other weddings that day, and they also didnt want it to be too "noisy" and disturb the other receptions. Its a wedding...its a party and a celebration with friends and family so of course it will be noisy! They suggested I change my date to a Friday night so they could accomadate the band, but it was too late to change with my other vendors.

We had a few people not show that sent an rsvp and they packaged up the food and sent it home with us. They were helpful to the other vendors that were setting up for the day as well. We had so many compliments about the room and owners throughout the night. We highly recommend this venue for your special day!

bar cost was included per person, at first we thought a little steep but for the amount of alcohol consumed it was worth it compared to per bottle. The lady that helped us plan was wonderful.
