I had the most wonderful experience with Fairytale Hair and Makeup. Tara and Frances not only made me and my girls feel beautiful for my wedding day but they were so much fun to spend the morning with and made everyone feel so comfortable. They were also so quick and efficient. From the start communication between me and them was top notch and I never felt stressed during any part of the process. You will not be disappointed working with them!

Kelly was amazing! She came directly to me for our makeup trial, which made things so much easier in the midst of wedding planning. Day of, she was right on time arriving to our rental condo & she did a great job staying on track - which is saying a lot, as three of my bridesmaids have very thick hair! She did hair for my bridesmaids & my makeup. Everyone's hair held up well throughout the long day, and my makeup stayed BEAUTIFUL despite the summer heat & long hours. She did a great job of helping me reach a natural low-key glam look that fit in so well.

I absolutely adored my wedding hair and makeup from Fairytale! They not only listened to what I wanted but encouraged me to point out any changes I would make. I received so many compliments throughout the night, and would absolutely book with them again! My bridesmaids also loved their work.

Fairytale Hair and Makeup did an amazing job for me, my mom, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and our grandmas on my wedding day! We had Lizz for makeup and Kim for hair, and they were both great! I did a trial (highly recommend) and they both helped make changes on the day-of to make my look exactly what I was hoping for. All of us girls felt gorgeous! They were on time, professional, and friendly. I'm happy I went with this team to get me all ready for the big day!

I used Fairytale Hair & Makeup for my wedding day on June 1st. Michelle did my makeup and Myline did my hair. Both of them did an amazing job on both my wedding hair and makeup and my bridesmaids and moms. After my trial, I asked Michelle 1000 questions over text regarding some anxieties I had about day-of-makeup. She was so sweet with giving me reassurance and gave me recommendations on foundations to try and sample prior to the big day. Would really recommend both of them, they did a great job!

Tara and Lizz are some of the most badass women I've ever met and holy crap do they know their way around hair and make-up. I requested their services for myself, my bridesmaids, my mother and MIL for my wedding day. When I showed up for my trial I had a particular vision in mind and both Tara and Lizz were so excited when I showed them some sample photos. It's one thing to have vendors who are professional and do their job well, but when they are also genuinely excited for you and do everything in their power to bring your vision to life it makes the whole experience all the more extraordinary. Despite having to show up stupid early because of my giant party and trek up 3 flights of stairs to our ready space, they had such an amazing attitude. They honestly got the party going that morning - as all my ladies, troopers that they are, were also up at the crack of dawn, you couldn't help but be put in a good mood when Tara and Lizz were there. I appreciated the fact that they gave me a great glow up for my wedding day without making me unrecognizable (something I've noticed is trending), and everytime one of my bridesmaids finished in the chair I audibly gasped at how stunning they all came out. Everyone was absolutely radiant and it couldn't have happened without Fairytale Hair and Makeup.

I had my hair done by Tara for my 5/24 wedding at Eden Gardens. Tara did a fantastic job and my curls lasted all night! She also did m my bridal party’s hair and they were very happy! She is pleasant and works diligently (I think we were ahead of schedule!). Highly recommend her!

Alicia was truly an ANGEL. There was a moment when I looked at her and in that instant she knew what to do and spoke on my behalf to reign folks in. She also kept me extremely calm the whole morning which is invaluable. Her makeup was FLAWLESS and hair INCREDIBLE. Ha with the little bit of chaos of the morning we forgot my lipstick, but truly made little difference and certainly wasn’t her fault. She also did my trial makeup (and made it possible to do it on my bridal shower!) which was incredible. There were very minor minor minor updates I wanted (ha, I wanted more sparkle because I have a serious addiction to sparkle lol) for the wedding day makeup, and having worn it the whole day of my bridal shower I was able to tell her what lasted with my skin and it truly lasted ALL evening for the wedding. And all my bridesmaids had nothing but rave reviews for her work. My MOH said it’s the best makeup she’s ever had, and she gave such little instruction. And her hair was flawless all evening and she still talks about it hah. Overall a wonderful experience and I highly recommend!! Also follow on insta, it’s such a fun account!!!!

Absolutely loved working with these ladies! The first thing that caught my eye was the fact that they already had a ton of positive reviews. Then seeing their pricing was a relief! I felt so many places charge a crazy amount just because it's bridal, but this is not the case here. Not only was this important for me, but for the other ladies who would be needing their services, too. Michelle and Myline were so fun and professional during my bridal trial and were able to capture the vintage look I was going for, and they were very open and understanding of adjustments I requested as I completely my wedding look and found my accessories. When the big day came, they were on time and ready to go. This was particularly fantastic because this happened to be during extremely heavy rains, being punctual and un-phased by the weather was such a relief! The other ladies also loved their looks, and they lasted all through evening. I would definitely recommend them for your wedding!

I had a great experience with Fairytale Hair and Makeup! My makeup artist Jazmin did a wonderful job and made me feel so beautiful. Leading up to my wedding, I was having a lot of breakouts on my skin (side effects of stress!) and she met with me several times ahead of the big day to help ease my concerns and find a makeup look for me. I am also extremely picky about how I wear my makeup and she was so kind and patient, helping to find a look that still covered the blemishes without making me feel overdone. Myline was my makeup artist and hairstylist. She organized the timeline and added another artist seamlessly despite my constant adding of services and people. She did a beautiful job and was just so kind and easy to get along with. Between her professionalism and her candor, I would highly recommend booking. Tara and Lizz were the absolute dream duo for my bridal hair and makeup. I just got married in October in Santa Barbara and Fairytale was excellent! I would recommend them to anyone in the Santa Barbara area! I had to hire them on super short notice because a vendor fell through and they were so accommodating and understanding. They are true professionals.

I had such a positive experience with the ladies that helped me with my hair and makeup for my wedding! My skin had some issues and my makeup artist really helped me with the prep leading up to the day and made sure the day of my skin looked flawless! The makeup was beautiful while also not looking too heavy or cakey but lasted all night. My hair looked amazing as well and I loved how all of my bridal party looked! I would highly recommend Fairytale Hair and Makeup. They also did my sisters wedding back in 2019 so I knew I was going to get the best with this company!

I hired fairytale for my wedding including my 4 bridesmaid and my mom. At first I was worried bc I don’t have double eyelid, I have Asian eyes!! Monolids! So I was afraid my makeup wouldn’t come out as good. Jazmin did my hair and makeup and it came out flawless. It took me a while to adjust since I don’t normally do my makeup like that though. At first during my trial I did a soft glam and everyone kept telling me it’s too soft so the day of my wedding I changed it with a little glam and shimmer. Jazmin also brought another stylist, to help out with my bridesmaid and her name is Virginia! She did an excellent job as well. My bridesmaid who normally don’t do makeup and has gotten her makeup done on previous occasion and hated it, loved how her makeup turned out from Virginia! Jasmin also provided me some extra powder and concealer as well on the side for the wedding which came in so handy! Thank you for the beautiful wedding hair and makeup fairytale 😊🤍

Adri is absolutely wonderful! She made my day extra special and made me (and my Matron of Honor) feel absolutely beautiful. She was a blast to work with and I'm so glad I had her in my corner that day. Tara was amazing, set everything up and we were in such good hands. Definitely recommend Fairytale!

I am so happy I chose Fairytale HMU! They were recommended by our wedding coordinator. Tara and Liz surely worked their magic for me and my girls. I was obsessed with my hair and loved how my makeup turned out. They listened to what I wanted and I definitely felt like a princess on my wedding day. We also had a super early start at 3am, but the hours flew by because Tara and Liz were good company and fun to chat with. I couldn't have asked for a better HMU team!

Fairytale hair and makeup were absolutely AMAZING! They were fun, upbeat, and the best hype duo. I had such an amazing time and experience having Fairytale Hair and Makeup for my wedding. They created such a stress free experience for our wedding with how easy it is to communicate and work with them. One of the most enjoyable experiences of the wedding planning process was doing my trial hair and makeup. Michelle and Megan created such of fun experience for my mom and I. I was really impressed with how Michelle took the time between my trial and wedding day to study my face to make tweaks and changes to my makeup on my wedding day. My makeup looked great during the trail. Her time and dedication she put in between made my makeup the day of even better! At the trial both stylists took extensive notes and pictures of what you like so that they have it all ready for the day of the wedding. One thing I really appreciated from Fairytale Hair and Makeup is that they have a team of stylists so if something where to happen and one of your stylist can’t make the day of the wedding (because life happens) they have somebody just as amazing and talented to fill in. It really takes a huge stress off the wedding process knowing they truly have your back. We had a super early wakeup call to start getting ready for a morning ceremony at Disneyland. Both stylists where there on time and ready to work! They even created time slots for when each bridesmaid needed to be there and ready for their hair and makeup. The bridesmaids really loved that because it took a lot of logistical stress off them and they were able to relax, snooze, and eat breakfast while we got ready. Myself and my bridesmaids also loved how both Michelle and Lulu did such a great job and were able to work with little direction which was nice considering most of us don’t know much about hair and makeup. Both Michelle and Lulu were so professional and easy to work with. Lulu created such a chill and relaxing atmosphere that many of the girls felt that they were at a spa getting pampered while they got their hair done. Michelle brought such a bubbly personality that kept everyones nerves and jitters at bay. Overall, Lulu and Michelle created such a fun and relaxing atmosphere getting ready that our Wedding Coordinator was shocked when she came in to check on use. She said she had never seen such a relaxed and cheerful group getting ready so early. I cannot emphasis enough on how stress free and relaxing it was getting ready. This wouldn’t have happened without these two amazing professionals. Everyone loved how great their hair and makeup turned out and how easy it was to get ready. Fairytale Hair and Makeup really know what they are doing and I would recommend them to everyone!

The makeup and hair for me, (bride) my maid of honor and bridesmaids looked amazing on my wedding day!! Tara and Lizz were on time, fun, efficient, extremely talented and made us all look amazing!! I highly recommend both of these ladies! (dont have professional pictures back yet)

I am so happy I chose them to do my wedding hair & makeup as well as my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup! My bridesmaids were blown away by how beautiful they looked. I cannot recommend them enough!

They did an excellent job. I had 16 women to get ready including myself and they were able to handle it with no problem. They even stayed ahead of schedule which was amazing and made the day go so smoothly. I loved how I looked and my bridesmaids looked amazing too. Would recommend.

Nataly was my makeup and hair artist for my wedding in March 2023. She was punctual, professional and made me feel beautiful on such a special day. After my trial, I had some tweaks I wanted to make and she was able to bring those to life on the wedding day.

I had my fairytale wedding this weekend at Disney and Fairytale Hair and Makeup was nothing short of amazing. We worked with Natalia, Danielle and Karen and not only were they super fun to work with, but they were so professional and helpful. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. Jazmin did my wedding hair and makeup and I was so happy with her work. She was also great company! She took extra care and attention making sure my hair would stay because my fine hair type often makes styles fall out. And she created a perfect version of exactly what I had requested!

I hired fairytale hair and makeup for my wedding. Their responsiveness was terrible to my emails. I would have to email 2 more times before receiving an answer back. The actual wedding day went pretty well. I liked my makeup, but I felt that it was very oily right after it was done and throughout the day. My hair was nice, but my biggest disappointment was the next day, the curled hair did not hold at all. The curl fell out before I even made it to my photoshoot 2 hour later. I just received the photos and many of them are ruined because my hair was completely straight and flat on the sides of my face. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this vendor.

I chose fairytale to do the hair and makeup at my wedding for me and for my bridesmaids and then a few family members also jumped in to get their hair and makeup done. Firstly Tara and Alicia who did my hair and makeup were amazing, they helped me chose a perfect look during my trial and recreated it to exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. For my 6 bridesmaids, they did all their hair and makeup and they did it beautifully and fast! We were on time for photos which I feel like never happens. I know this won’t be the last time I work with fairytale hair and makeup, if I ever have a central coast event I’m calling them! Beautiful work, professional and friendly all around 5 star experience!

We were all happy with our hair and everything stayed in place all night despite high winds and lots of dancing. Our Quinceanera's make up remained flawless all night as well. Lulu was easy to work with and pleasant to have around for a stressful day.

I loved my experience with Fairytale Hair & Makeup! Adri and Lizz were amazing throughout the entire day, keeping the entire bridal party calm and collected while also having great suggestions when we weren't sure about specifics for hair/makeup. They were able to create amazing looks for everyone, and we were even able to create a great look for my brother with sparkles and curls/braids in his hair! I absolutely loved working with this team to create my perfect wedding look (lots of sparkles for everyone, including me). I highly recommend!

Our Disney Fairy Tale Wedding was a dream come true! A big part of what made our day so special was my hair and make-up team from Fairytale Hair & Makeup. I had Yesenia for my hair and Karen for my make-up. Both ladies are extremely talented and were both able to achieve the look I always imagined to have on my wedding day! They were both very friendly and I felt very comfortable. Yesenia was especially personable! She even texted me the night before and asked what kind of music I listened to and created a playlist for the day of our wedding! Just another little touch that meant a lot and probably something we wouldn’t have remembered to do with how busy and stressed we were. We chatted the entire time and I noticed my bridesmaids did too! Our other hair stylist was Natalia and our other make-up artist was Jessie. Both of these ladies were so much fun and made it a great experience for my bridesmaids and family. Natalia did my little flower girls hair and they had a blast together. All of the ladies were quick but still kept the quality of their work high, so we were often ahead of schedule which really put me at ease. I highly recommend Fairytale Hair & Makeup, especially the artists I worked with. You can’t go wrong with them!

I think I may need to get married again so Francis and Jazmin can do my hair and makeup again!! They were both so nice and fun to get ready with on my special day. We all felt so beautiful! I would absolutely recommend working with them!

Let me start this review by saying I never wear makeup or do my hair so hiring a hair and make up stylist for my wedding was one of the most stressful things about planning our wedding. I got in touch with Fairytale about a year prior to our wedding, they not only had great reviews and were very professional but they made this experience the easiest and most fun of all plus the prices were super reasonable. I was paired with Belle and the magic started on my hair and make up trial. She knew exactly what I wanted even though I was not the best at describing it. After my trial I had zero concerns about how I was going to look on our big day. The day of our wedding, Belle and Romina (second hmu artirst) showed up right on time and glammed everyone. I felt and looked like a billion dollars and my hair and makeup lasted all night. I want Belle to do my make up and my hair forever, seriously she was THAT good!
