We hired the Spectrum Band for our daughter’s wedding reception on 10-10-26 which was held at the Missouri History Museum. We could not have been any happier for the Spectrum Band to be there providing the entertainment!!!! They played for over 2 hours and they kept people young and old dancing the entire time!!! I was complimented numerous times over and over about the wedding reception venue and most importantly the band!!!! They weren’t just good, they were very, very good!!! I knew from the moment they started playing that everybody was going to have a great time and they sure did!!!! We contacted Sean Scales, the business manager of the band, two years ago about possibly playing at our daughter’s wedding reception. He set up a zoom meeting with me and my wife and also our daughter and her fiancé and told us everything about the band, the prices, etc. After our zoom meeting with Sean, I called our daughter to find out their thoughts on Sean and the band, her thoughts right away without any hesitation was “get them booked for our wedding right away”!!! The rest is history, Sean kept us informed for the past 2 years and as time got nearer to the wedding, he reached out several times for different questions he had or we would have. You will not be disappointed to have them play at your event at all , very very professional and so happy we were entertained by the Spectrum Band!!!!!

They were incredibly talented, energetic, professional, and so much fun! What impressed us most was their ability to play music that appealed to so many different generations. From our younger guests to parents and grandparents, everyone found something they loved, and the dance floor was packed all night! They did an amazing job keeping the energy high and reading the crowd. So many of our guests commented on how fantastic the band was and how much they enjoyed the music. Sean has performed professionally as a bassist for hire for over 35 years, including performing as an orchestra bassist for Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Lines, as a member of the Jay Osmond Band backing up the world famous Osmond Brothers in Branson, MO, multiple professional musical theatre productions, and in various bands including rock, country, latin american, jazz, and big band and swing bands. Sean joined Spectrum Band as the band's bassist in 2011, and took over the business and booking side of the band in early 2021. He also is the main point of contact for all wedding couples during the planning process and serves as the band's emcee. Sean has the experience of performing professionally on many stages big and small, and with over 500 weddding receptions performed, he brings a wealth of valuable experience to all Spectrum Band couples!
