The Perfect Dress of Sarasota

ride, but got so overwhelmed and torn between two dresses, and everyone at the Perfect Dress was so encouraging and helped me talk through what I loved or didn't love about both until I could make a confident decision. I fell in love with my perfect dress and everyone celebrated like family! Serena and Julia were absolutely amazing in welcoming my family and making it extra special with one of the bar cart upgrades (totally worth it to elevate the appointment). Noelle, Hunter, and Teresa were the best when I had to talk out the changes I wanted to do in alterations, making me feel at ease. The shop is gorgeous and the energy of everyone is amazing and infectious. Seriously, the best place you could ever go as a bride!!

This was the first place I have tried on dresses at and it will definitely be tough to beat. Honestly, I’m pretty sure I found my dress here ❤️

e to do my alterations through the boutique as well, which I highly recommend because Theresa did a fantastic job. They can also send your dress to be professionally cleaned and preserved after the wedding, which I plan on doing as well. Great selection of dresses and everybody I worked with along the way was awesome!

was Gracie, a girl who was super attentive to all the details and very patient. she captured every detail and brought me each dress exactly as she envisioned it. I repeat, I am not easy to convince at all. This was my first time trying on dresses and I wasn't expecting any. If you are a girl like me, if you are looking for the dress of your dreams Gracie is your girl. Without forgetting, the boutique is beautiful, the atmosphere makes you calm down and enjoy the experience, the cleanliness is perfect and it smells great. I don't know if these details count but I pay attention to everything. Wonderful staff. They made me feel like a Princess. If you want your dress you definitely have to go to this boutique. Gracie, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so nice to me and my guests. You are a professional at what you do and if you do it with love it is the perfect combination. Thanks again to all the girls, you are the best. Thank you thank you thank you. ❤️

consultant Faith was so encouraging and patient through the process and I'm so grateful for her help. Thank you so much Faith for helping me get the wedding dress of my dreams!

and definitely knew what she was doing. I can't say enough about Faith and the others in the shop, they all go above and beyond and I am very thankful they gave us a beautiful day to find her dress. Recommend this shop to anyone looking for a wedding gown in the area.

hat I had made the right choice for a bridal salon. Serena was so sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. She was prepared with designs and styles based on information they collected prior to my appointment, so we were immediately able to narrow down a style and silhouette. Serena is such a pro, she knew exactly which dresses to pull, and took her time to ask questions and understand what I liked/disliked about each gown I tried. She was incredibly helpful and informative, especially when it came time to pin down specifics like the lining color and veil options. I truly do feel like I found my perfect dress, and I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day! I can’t thank Serena and everyone at The Perfect Dress enough for providing such a great experience!

ve! With her help, I finally said YES to my perfect dress!

le experience fantastic!

dresses, bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses. There is also accessories such as hair pieces and jewelry. The trying on area is spacious and well-lighted. Danielle and the other people who worked there were charming, attentive and absolutely no-pressure. A beautiful shop!

stood what I was looking for in a wedding dress and has an eye for details that were flattering to my shape. Would highly recommend for any bride!! It was the most fun part of wedding planning so far.

get everything I wanted and more! Would recommend to anyone who was dress shopping!

two little nieces). We ended up running into some traffic on the way to The Perfect Dress and showed up 15 minutes late but they quickly got us started on the appointment upon arrival. Faith took our budget seriously and pulled out about ten gowns to try on. She was extremely supportive and knowledgeable and my entire party loved her. After trying on about five gowns, I found the one. She dressed me up with lacy sleeves for the dress and a beautiful cathedral veil and I immediately bursted into tears; it felt so surreal. It was everything I ever imagined in my dream wedding dress; it’s my favorite designer, covered with lace and shimmer, and sweetheart style. I walked in a little nervous and not 100% sure if I was going to go home with a dress, but Faith easily made this day one of the best days of my life. I appreciate her kindness and patience more than she’ll ever know ❤️

picked out four dresses for me to try on. After trying those on and letting her know what I liked from each dress, she brought out four more dresses for me to try on. I tried on about 12 dresses and the whole process took 1.5 hours. Everyone was really nice and I said yes to the dress. Danielle was amazing and did a great job figuring out what I wanted. I totally recommend this place to any of my friends.

resses, Faith! I came into the store with a vague idea of what I was looking for, but Faith was able to understand my vision and found the perfect dress for me. I knew right away that it was the one. To top it off, Faith mentioned that the dress was called "The Bailey" - which is also going to be my married last name. It was truly fate that I found this dress! I am absolutely thrilled and feel like I'm on cloud nine that I was able to find a dress I'm just as excited about as my first one. I highly recommend this bridal store and Faith's expertise in helping brides-to-be find the perfect dress. Thank you so much for making my wedding dress shopping experience so special and memorable!

s absolutely amazing! She made me feel so comfortable and understood my sense of humor. She never made me feel pressured and she let me try on pretty much everything I picked up. My mom and I both loved Faith and I couldn't have found my dress without her. I love the Essense of Australia dress I chose and can't wait to get married in it! I also want to commend the Perfect Dress for having so many plus size options in store to try on. It was so helpful to feel like I had options and different styles to try. Thank you again so much Perfect Dress for making my wedding dreams a reality!

3 months. Not only did she find my dress that was perfect for me and my budget, she also made it so enjoyable and special. It was a tearful moment. She is so genuine and truly has a wonderful gift for what she does. Have Faith!

Can’t wait to see my fiancé’s face when he lays eyes on me!

est with me throughout the process. I ended up having a hard time deciding between two gorgeous, vastly different gowns. Faith immediately got me an appointment for the following day, giving me the opportunity to mull it over. When I arrived today, she was just as excited as I was when I revealed my decision and modeled the dress for my parents. Will definitely recommend this shop to all future brides in the area. So many styles to choose from and experiment with, and the atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable.

sale, which made it even easier to say 'Yes' to! She helped me try on several other gowns as well and was always considerate of my budget and style preferences. My friends and my mom all had a great time with me. The boutique is beautiful and the entire staff was so friendly! Wish I could go back and do it again!

I found something that I fell in love with! They are very communicative and when the time comes they can handle any alterations needed. They also make sure the dress & veil are ready to go wedding week which was very nice. I would highly recommend them!!

! Their customer service is amazing, the staff is warm and welcoming and I wish I could do all my shopping there!

or my wedding! She even let me come back for another appointment after my purchase to show the dress to my mother in law. I never felt rushed while shopping and the selection is HUGE. They even let you pull your own dresses which some salons don’t. When my dress came in it actually had a snag from shipping, The Perfect Dress helped rush order a new dress with no charge and I had the new one in plenty of time. Overall an excellent experience I’d recommend to anyone, two other bride friends of mine bought their dresses here as well!

hard to choose, but it came down to 2 dresses. I finally picked "the Perfect dress". I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!

every critique on every dress. She quickly got me out of the NO dresses and onto my next possibility… she felt my anxiety before I spoke a word and fixed the situation immediately. She made me feel like a princess over and over with the perfect accessories for every dress I tried. Ultimately I said yes to The Perfect Dress that Faith had chosen for me before my arrival! She just knew! Everything about my appointment was perfect in every way! Thank you Faith!

ange of prices and the team was fabulous. I had not known dresses were taking longer to arrive due to shipping delays nationwide, so I was really in a time restriction to get my dress (and VERY stressed). My consultation appointment was wonderful, and Stephanie took the time to understand my needs, style and certainly my time frame. After trying on a lot of dresses, Steph held one that she thought would be IT until I’d tried on all the others. That was the dress! I purchased my dress, veil and accessories and had them perform the alterations. I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. I worked primarily with Steph but Julia, Kim, and the seamstress who did my alterations were all amazing. This company is the absolute best, and I wouldn’t waste time at other stores. You will be made to feel incredibly special throughout the process and they truly care about their brides and customers.

feel one of a kind. I couldn’t have asked for more, she was patient and allowed me to really enjoy every little moment. It wasn’t just the dress that was perfect it was the whole experience!! Would recommend any bride to come here, you will not be disappointed!

t was UNDER my budget, which I didn’t expect. She understood my vibe and style perfectly, only picked dresses in my budget and was super helpful with everything. Im also so happy that I was able to stay under my budget.

viewed before my appointment and had amazing options prepared. I did not have a big budget but had a very specific look in mind so I was amazed that my consultant found THE PERFECT DRESS in the first try, literally the first dress she recommended, she took into account my figure as well which is always very much appreciated. The post sale customer experience was just as amazing including the alterations, these ladies are a team of experts in their field

ry accommodating and I found my perfect dress on the second dress! We still tried about 5 more but nothing compared. She also helped me pick a veil that complimented the design. The shop is very gorgeous and an intimate setting. Great photo opportunities in and outside.

helped me find the perfect dress! I’m so glad that I finally found this place! You should definitely check it out!

ress shopping back in 2019 in preparation for our 2020 wedding, but like many people we had to postpone our wedding until 2021 due to the pandemic. Throughout this process, The Perfect Dress was so great! I found this shop after attending a wedding expo in Tampa and made an appointment there on site after seeing the sample of dresses they brought with them. At my first appointment with my mom and mother in law I met my bridal consultant, Cindy, who was just so great! She totally understood exactly what style of dress I imagined myself in, while also encouraging me to try some great options that I might not have picked myself. Actually the dress that I wound up choosing was one on a mannequin that I probably would not have chosen on my own, but that Cindy suggested I try on! At my first appointment I narrowed down my top choices and made another follow up appointment which was when I made my dress and veil decision! At my second appointment, Cindy had my (soon to be) seamstress Teresa take a look at the dress to ensure that the alterations/modifications that I wanted to make to my dress could be done- which luckily they could! I wound up having the dress designer add on an extra foot to my dress train (which the shop communicated with the designer for me for this addition) and then in later alterations Teresa filled in the side panels of my dress, and also completely changed the back of the dress to one that was a beautiful low cut. I couldn’t have asked for a better alterations job and am so glad that Teresa was available for it- a true artist! The environment at the shop was also amazing and a great balance between it feeling like a totally personal experience (a bridal consultant and mirror space just for you) and a shared experience with other shoppers and brides in the store (it was so much fun to see other brides’ dress styles and to have other people view my dress choice and love it!). I also chose my bridesmaids dresses from here and my mother in law purchased her dress here as well- The Perfect Dress really does have so many options and styles for brides and everyone! I really could not recommend The Perfect Dress more and I am so glad that I found them! I could not have felt more beautiful on my wedding day and a huge part of that was because of my dress, so thank you for helping me find my truly perfect dream dress!

dgeable, and works hard to find you the dress of your dreams. I was extremely happy with how my original appointment moved along, trying on styles I thought I might like and then ultimately finding the dress I wore on my wedding day! The Perfect Dress is more then a bridal salon too; you continue to work with them for accessories, veil, mother of the bride dress, flower girl dresses, bridesmaids dresses, alterations, and final pick up. Best advice would be to ask questions to truly understand the process, and as always, pick the dress that you want and makes you feel the best. Check out their website and social media for a feel of how the shop is! You will not regret it!

helpful and my experience felt so personal! I couldn't have dreamt for a better day. I flew in from Cincinnati, Ohio to visit my parents house for the weekend and decided to take a chance at finding my perfect dress at The Perfect Dress Sarasota. The experience alone was so worth the trip! I had the sweetest, most patient stylist helping me. She knew exactly what I was looking for the second I started to describe my likes. After I purchased the dress, they were in constant communication with me about timing, shipping, and any additional needs. It was fantastic. The experience was so great, my mom even got her mother of the bride dress there! I highly recommend checking this super cute boutique out if you find yourself in Sarasota, FL.

y girlfriend and I both found her to be personable, patient, helpful, and extremely nice to work with. She asked me about my daughter's upcoming wedding, and noted that I am on a fairly tight timeline, since my daughter just became engaged, and is getting married in 6 months. She showed me a variety of beautiful dresses, and as I narrowed down my selections was very patient in having me try my faves on again. She even contacted the dress vendor, to make sure she could get the dress in time that I can get it and have it altered at their shop before I head North again in the Spring. The Perfect Dress carries beautiful Mother of the Bride Dress lines, and the experts are knowledgable and really fun to work with. I highly recommend this shop!

perfectly the day of. I am grateful for the team at the Perfect Dress!

me. JoAnn guided me through multiple dresses and was able to tease out what things I liked in a dress. She pulled a gown that I never would have chosen by myself and it was the dress I bought and CANNOT wait to wear. I felt so comfortable throughout my entire appointment and I knew I was in expert hands. I would highly recommend shopping for a gown at the Perfect Dress of Sarasota!

style so perfectly & guided me to say YES to my dream dress! Kim is amazing as well, accommodated my entourage perfectly. The amount of options there is super impressive! I am so happy with my choice & it's all thanks to this amazing team!

ything I loved. LET ME TELL YOU, Kim and her ladies know what they are doing and have THE most gorgeous dresses for ALL shapes and sizes. My dress was beyond what I ever imagined I'd be able to fit into. I felt like a true princess! I wished I had gone here first to save in all my other troubles. Kim is an absolute dream to work with and makes all your dreams come true!

le she was well versed in the recommendations she gave, she was most importantly so genuine towards me. She was such a sound voice for me to have in the dressing room, made me feel no pressure and honestly like she was family to me. I would highly recommend this shop, it’s beautiful, organized and the staff makes you feel so comfortable!

xpecting to purchase, but your dresses were so lovely and Steph was a very attentive stylist. She let me take my time and try on all that I wanted. So many styles and colors with a variety of price points. I highly recommend this boutique.
