The Skyroom at Red Wing Golf Course

The Skyroom is a fantastic venue to get married at. We got so many complements from our guests about how nice the facility is and how much they enjoyed it. We ended up having an indoor ceremony due to weather, but it turned out absolutely beautiful! It is on a golf course so there is a great outdoor ceremony space and the patio is available during the reception during the warmer months. Our venue coordinator was Carlee and she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best wedding. She was prompt in all communication and answered any and all questions we had. The Skyroom does require you use their caterer “River Valley Catering” but we had a great experience with them as all. The food was delicious and our guests complemented how much they loved it! All of the staff throughout the night including bartenders and servers were great. We could not imagine getting married anywhere else! The Skyroom owns a large airbnb on the property called the Walsh House. The Walsh House was a huge selling point for us when we initially booked and we are so happy we included it. The house is a 30 second walk to the venue. It was a perfect meeting place.

We had our December wedding at The Skyroom and I highly recommend this venue! Carlee was great to work with and had great communication as well. We had to have a room flip and it went quickly and flawlessly! We rented out the Walsh House for the grooms dinner and wedding day. It was really convenient and recommend any future brides to rent it. The venue has River Valley Catering for their food vendor and we had so many compliments on how good the food was! Seriously the best venue!

Skyroom was excellent to work with from start to finish. We ended up choosing this venue as it was more affordable than places in the Twin Cities and the Walsh house as a rental option was so convenient! It's so nice to have the outdoor deck area without having to have the entire reception outside (so I didn't have to worry about weather at all!) Carlee was great to work with and all of our questions were answered very quickly.

The Skyroom was the PERFECT venue for our fall wedding! Carlee was so great to work with and made the whole process a breeze for us. I highly recommend this venue to future couple! We love the Skyroom!!!

I cannot give enough positive feedback about the venue and staff! Gorgeous views for photos and for golfing, extremely well taken care of, and so many opportunities to really make the space your own. The staff, especially Carlee, was so attentive and communicative and helped us out so much leading up to our wedding and on the day of. They truly made the entire process so easy! The groomsmen went golfing the day before and the day of, and said the course was challenging and fun and they look forward to coming back again to golf! River Valley Catering, their partnered catering company, was incredible and I have heard nothing but raving reviews from all guests, and you cannot beat the price. If you are looking for a great, spacious place to host an event or wedding, I HIGHLY recommend The Skyroom! Great food, great bar, great views. I only wish I had gotten to be a guest at my own wedding to experience it that way as well!

We got married here in May of 2022 and it was AMAZING! Great staff, amazing space, gorgeous back drop, quality tables and chairs. This place is a hidden gem!

The skyroom was the absolute best to work with! If you’re reading this and considering going with them— DO IT!!!! They are so easy to work with, excellent communication, and make your wedding day incredible!!!!! We used the Walsh house with it and I absolutely recommend that. It saved so much hassle/transportation in between getting ready. We also used it for the groom’s dinner the night before. Our guests truly loved it, and the Skyroom alone is BEAUTIFUL so decorations were easy (which is huge!). The Skyroom does an excellent job with plans for rainy day and if you prefer an outdoor wedding. They calmed all my nerves about a chance for rain with the option for changing on such short notice. They truly go above and beyond for your day ❤️ After working with them, my mother jokingly said she would love to work there, because the staff were so positive and accommodating. We so appreciate everyone there! Thank you so much Skyroom for the dreamiest day!

The Skyroom at Red Wing Golf Course is amazing!! We 10/10 recommend. We loved that it is right in the middle of Red Wing. The venue has beautiful views and is on the golf course. The venue is so spacious and the outdoor patio was such a hit for guests to relax and chat if they weren’t out on the dance floor! The staff were amazing as well. River Valley Catering was a huge hit as well. The food was amazing. We love this place so much we can't wait to get invited to a wedding to come back and experience it as a guest (: Brittany & Danielle didn’t know what all the changing restrictions would be either but continued to be professional & compassionate throughout the process of planning a wedding during a pandemic. They were great to work with and speedy at responding to questions. Walsh House- This house is right next to the venue on the golf course. It made it so much easier to be right next to the venue so we could run back and forth. It was nice to have the rehearsal dinner there the night before too. We also took most of our pictures here. The boys went golfing in the morning too! (: It is worth it to rent the house for the weekend (:

My husband and I held our wedding at the Skyroom on NYE and it was wonderful. Danielle, the team, and the staff were amazing. They were always responsive leading up to the wedding and helped us line out times and needs. They were flexible with us around times and we only got rave reviews back from our guests. We also rented the Walsh house for the weekend and it was great to have available. I would recommend the Skyroom to anyone!

We got married at the Skyroom in September and everything was absolutely perfect! We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. We couldn’t have asked for a better day at a better place. All the staff at the Skyroom were so helpful and friendly, making the day that much better. I have nothing bad to say about the Skyroom and would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I got married at the Skyroom on 8/21/21! We also rented the Walsh House for the weekend. The venue + Walsh house exceeded everything we hoped for! We loved working with Brittany, Danielle and Abby, they were all there to help with anything and everything leading up to the wedding, planning and then the day of! The golf pro at Red Wing Golf course also helped plan a golf scramble for my husband and his friends/family on Friday! We loved the convenience of having the rehearsal dinner at the Walsh House, ceremony at the golf course and dinner/reception in the Skyroom. Our guests raved about the views, venue and food! River Valley Catering's food was the best wedding food we had ever had our guests live the chicken and beef tenderloin tips. We couldn’t have been happier with everything and it was our dream wedding! We are so thankful to have had our wedding here and all the memories made! A huge thank you to the best team at The Skyroom!

We had our wedding at the skyroom and during Covid. The staff was extremely Professional, organized, and went above and beyond to make sure that each and everyone of our guests were taken care of and felt comfortable. Danielle was there the day of and she took charge and made everything a breeze. The staff commented to my husband and I at the end of the night telling us how respectful fun and courteous our guests were, and we felt that this reflected the staff as well. Many of our guests commented on how nice and accommodating the staff was especially in uncertain times. We would most definitely recommend Brittnee Danielle and the Skyroom as we had an amazing wedding day there

The Skyroom was the perfect backdrop for our October wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful, but Brittany is what sold us! She was wonderful to work with, and always made us feel like she would do anything to make our wedding day the day of our dreams! She made planning and executing a wedding during COVID feel almost effortless! The whole Skyroom team worked so hard for us (even changing seating arrangements and meal orders two days before our wedding!), and we are so grateful. We could never imagine getting married anywhere else!

We had the most incredible experience with The Skyroom! We loved how big and open the space was and the room is surrounded by huge windows with breathtaking views of the bluffs! We also loved the large deck area for people to be able to be outside and cozy up to the fireplaces, especially during a pandemic, this was an awesome feature to have access to! Absolutely stunning and newly renovated venue, we were so lucky to have been married there! Brittany and the staff were equally as amazing through our whole process of planning and working with restrictions of COVID. Any time I had a question about anything, they were quick to respond and always put me at ease and reassured me that our day will be perfect no matter what and boy let me tell you, it was beyond perfect!! Choosing The Skyroom as your venue for your special day is a must!! ❤️

Brittany and team were amazing throughout the whole process! We toured the place before it was done and took a chance before it was done. We couldn’t haven’t imagined a better venue. Brittany was amazing leading up to the big day and the staff were amazing the day of. People still rave about the venue and the food.

Brittany and her team made our wedding day so special. Our guests are still talking about the beautiful reception space and views for the outdoor ceremony. Planning a wedding during the pandemic was not easy, but it helped to have a venue that was so wiling to work with us through all the changes and regulations. We were so grateful to also have been able to rent the Walsh house. It was the perfect gathering spot for family and getting ready for the big day.

The most AMAZING venue and the best decision we made for our wedding day. COVID ruined a lot of things this year but I never felt stressed working with Brittany and her crew. Professional, accommodating, and all around fun and amazing people. The venue is newly renovated and absolutely gorgeous. We had SO many compliments on how beautiful, spacious, and functional the venue was. I wish I could get married every weekend because it truly was the very best day of our lives — and Brittany & the Skyroom staff were a HUGE part in making this a reality for us. I truly don’t even have words for how happy we are with having our wedding at the Skyroom. HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT THE SKYROOM — You will NOT regret it!

We had our wedding at the Skyroom in March 2020 and can not recommend this venue enough! It is a beautiful space, affordable, and has many great amenities. The new space worked well for an indoor ceremony and a March wedding in Minnesota! We had plenty of great places for photos inside and outside- and they turned out beautiful. Both Brittany and Danielle are awesome to work with, they pay attention to detail and make sure you have thought through each part of the day. With an indoor ceremony we had to flip part of the room between the ceremony and reception, the process was seemless and didn’t take long at all! I was so impressed with how Brittany and Danielle helped plan this transition and made sure it was coordinated well. I loved that we could stay in one location all day with space to get ready, take photos, have indoor and outdoor options for the ceremony, and a great reception space. We truly had the BEST day at The Skyroom. The Walsh house is also a beautiful space and worked well for hosting my husband’s out-of-state family!

We had our reception at The Skyroom in October 2019. The venue is BEAUTIFUL and has breathtaking views of of the bluffs. Sooo many of our guests complimented the venue. The space has 2 bars, a large indoor area, and an outdoor balcony for guests to enjoy! We found that the pricing for the venue was very reasonable for the area, and included many things that other venues did not. Brittany was our coordinator and was SO HELPFUL with any questions we had. We really liked that River Valley Catering is their vendor, they had a wide variety of food to choose from and could accommodate pretty much any budget. 10/10 would recommend.

The Skyroom was a great choice for our daughter’s wedding! From the views outside to the brand new indoor venue, the entire day was perfect! Brittany went above and beyond to make sure that all of our questions were answered as well as making sure our vision for the day became reality! If you are able, we would also suggest renting the nearby Walsh House. It is a beautiful home that allowed our family to be together during our time in Red Wing. This place is a hidden gem!

We could not have had a better experience at the Red Wing Golf Club. The food was exactly what we wanted, off the menu and uniuqe. The chef cooked the recipes we gave him and went above and beyond our expectations! Highly recommend using this venue if you are having a wedding in Red Wing!
