Working with this team was everything! From the very first visit, to the day I picked up my dress with their alterations team it was perfect. The whole process was easy and they are some of the kindest people I have ever interacted with. They are quick to respond to emails and provide the highest quality shopping and fitting appointments. If you are a new bride and getting ready to start dress shopping, do yourself a favor and make an appointment here you will not regret it!

Where do I even start?! If you are a bride in the Capital Region and beyond, there is absolutely no better dress shop for the modern bride than Love Story by Angela's Bridal. The ladies at Love Story's knowledge, expertise, and service are simply unmatched, and we are so lucky to have them locally! I had an insane dress experience - my dress that I ordered 10+ months in advance, never came in. This was not Love Story's fault at all. Exactly 30 days before my wedding date, we needed another plan and I needed to find a new dress - preferably one that we could get quickly so that we could begin alterations. Janet Cooper is by far the most incredible human that I could have had to navigate such a stressful and challenging time. Not only did Janet spend hours with me evaluating my options, she made me feel heard, understood, and felt like a dear friend through the entire process. Janet and the ladies at Love Story went above and beyond - helping me find a new dress that I LOVED - so much more than my original - made stunning customizations to my gown, and took care of everything to make me feel beautiful and look my best on the best day of my life. I can't recommend this place enough!!! I had a custom dress made to order for my wedding and it came out better than I could have imagined! The women at Love Story were so incredibly sweet and kind to work with, they took the time to really understand what I wanted from my dress and talk about my likes and dislikes from previous appointments at other shops. The selection is also so unique and my experience here was easily one of the most fun parts of my wedding planning!!!! 💗💗💗

The gals at A Love Story by Angela's Bridal were an absolute DREAM to work with! I had so much internal stress about picking out a dress and my appointment with Meg was unbelievably incredible. She was kind and patient and listened thoughtfully to everything that I was looking for in a dress, picked a number of styles for me with a wide range to try on to see what I did and what I didn't like in each style. I swear she knew exactly what I was thinking about each one before I even said it -- she's so in tune with her brides and helping them pick out the perfect dress! They have a curated selection of dresses that are absolutely stunning have a wide range of sizes and styles. From modern to vintage, I swear I got to try on every style I had my eye on leading up to the appointment. I had my dream dress in under an hour and booked my alterations with them as well to make sure that it fit perfectly. I left the dress fitting appointment feeling so much more at ease and confident all at the same time. Not having to think about the dress any longer and knowing that it was in their hands helped me to focus on other aspects of the wedding planning. Their alterations team?? Absolutely incredible! Katie and Janet were phenomenal and my dress fittings were quick and easy and they made it fit like a glove for me the day of my wedding. My wedding was out of state on the beach, so they packed it up beautifully for travel and even sent me with a little '911 kit' for anything that needed to be pinned day of, which was so very thoughtful. All of my family and friends attending the wedding were out of state so I didn't have anyone to come with me to any of my appointments but it felt like I was with family and friends the entire time thanks to the incredible crew at A Love Story by Angela's Bridal. They eased my mind and made me feel so cared for throughout the entire process. If you've made it this far down the review and read all this, just book them! You seriously will be SO happy you did and it will be one more thing checked off the list that you won't need to worry about and that you KNOW will be in good hands. I'll sing their praises the rest of my life and highly recommend you book them ASAP for all your wedding dress and alteration needs.

Very personable experience! The ladies at this shop are ready to help and give you great recommendations and confidence. Also the alterations studio was very lovely and a private session. It means so much more when you are not interrupted by other customers and the whole experience is about you. I highly recommend!

Best decision I could have made; from buying the dress all the way to having it altered. After spending all day at other dress shops feeling frustrated, not listened to, and like I wouldn't find a dress, I knew I'd made the right choice for my last shop of the day the SECOND I walked into Angela's. Such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere to walk into. They actually listened to me, and the third dress I tried on here was the one. Great selection of dresses. Lots of traditional, unique, and modern dresses of all silhouettes. I highly recommend using their alterations studio as well. Dress fit like a glove when they were done with it, and I had so much fun going to my appointments. Felt like going to dance around in a princess dress with my friends. Can't say enough good things all around.

From the moment I walked into Love Story I felt welcomed and comfortable. Even though these ladies help countless brides find their perfect dress, they still managed to make me feel special and share in my excitement in such a genuine way. I ended up ordering an almost completely custom dress from them which was easy with their extensive knowledge and helpful opinions. Even though I went the design route, they have a large selection of amazing dresses. I would highly recommend Love Story to any bride. I would also recommend following their Instagram which posts the latest styles and trends and allowed me to start thinking about what I liked months in advance. They always answer DMs and emails promptly and are incredibly professional.

The whole staff was extremely helpful. I am fairly shy, so being able to go with just my small group and have the space to myself was wonderful. They helped me find my dream dress... WITHIN MY BUDGET!!!!! They're alterations team was excellent at well. They kept me updated on the status of my dress and helped settle my nerves throughout the whole process.

The ladies at A Love Story were so helpful in guiding me to my perfect dress! I purchased the first dress I tried on, and throughout the appointment, the girls helped me realize that it was my dream dress. Everyone is so kind and genuinely wants you to feel beautiful and comfortable on your big day!

I loved my experience at A Love Story! Katie helped me the whole way and was so kind and knowledgeable. I also did my alterations though A Love Story and they made my dress perfect. Buying and altering my dress was the smoothest and easiest part of my wedding. The individualized appointments and personal touches really make the experience wonderful. I recommend them to all of my friends getting married!

I do not have enough good things to say! It was extremely early (July 2021) for me to start shopping for my wedding dress but I saw on insta they were doing a sample sale & you could win fun prizes.. so what did I have to lose. I ended up leaving with my dream dress. The one on one attention is amazing & exactly what every bride deserves. Nicole is no longer with the team since purchasing my dress & I was so sad to see her go but this is an experience I’ll always remember. My dress has my safely stored at their alterations studio until it’s time to start that process. At the time of purchase, I didn’t want a veil so I wasn’t even paying attention to veil lengths colors etc., I have an accessories appointment where I’ll try on my dress , get the feel of it again, & try on veils to help ensure I pick the perfect one for my special day! The staff are so patient, kind, & experienced. They take time to listen. They really do put each & every bride at the center of all they do.

I can not say enough good things about the ladies at Angela’s Bridal! While I ultimately ended up getting my dress at a different boutique, my experience here was by far the best. Everyone was amazing at making you feel as comfortable as possible and did an amazing job at listening to what I was looking for and finding dresses that I would not have even thought to look at. As someone that was very nervous about finding a dress that would fit me right, they went above and beyond and making sure that I was comfortable! Angela’s Bridal is a must stop for all brides!

The personalized, one-on-one attention at this shop is incredible. When you make an appointment at A Love Story, you are the only bride in there. They let you take your time and actually pick out the dresses they have on the racks - no slide-show photo gallery of models wearing gowns!!! The team that works with you are experts in wedding gowns and have tips and tricks for what to look for, how to store and transport your gown, and let you experience being a bride! There was absolutely no pressure to hurry or to buy just to get your money. I loved working with them.

From the day I stepped into Angelas I had the best experience. The girls took the time to make sure I made the best decision for me and helped me pick the most beautiful gown for my special day. Every question I had from purchase to even after my wedding was answered to enthusiastically. I would recommend them to anyone. These girls rock!!

A Love Story was the second bridal store I went to. The boutique is super cute, warm and welcoming, and you're the only bride there. The first bridal store I went to in Saratoga no one helped me pick out dresses or get in or out of them. Taylor was amazing and helped me the whole way. My favorite part about A Love Story is that they have separates. Meaning you can customize your wedding dress- how cool!! At first I was weary seeing "crop tops" and "maxi skirts" hanging there but trust the process. The store looks small, a fraction of the side of David's Bridal, but they probably have more options here than anywhere else due to the customization, which is totally unique to you! Since both pieces of my dress were the same designer (Liz Simon) I was able to get it sewn together to be one complete, flawless dress. The quality of A Love Story's dresses are also far superior. The fabric is SO SOFT and comfortable, oh my goodness, I could have worn it to bed it was so comfortable lol. Nothing irritated my sensitive skin at all. I recently went to David's with a friend and you could see her underwear through the dresses there. Hot pink underwear under my dress, no problem, and my dress was fitted! They don't do in-house alterations here, which I find to be a blessing. I have heard so many horror stories (which actually happened with my bridesmaid's dresses at another location) of bridal stores intentionally ordering the incorrect size dress to require alterations. When I say my dress came in PERFECT, I mean I went to the seamstress and she made it maybe a 1/2 inch snugger in the bust. They do provide a great list of suggested local seamstresses to go to. My only complaint about A Love Story is their timing. I ordered my dress in May 2018 with my wedding being September 2019, so I had plenty of time. I was told when I ordered it that it would be in, in about 9 months. Spring 2019 I still hadn't heard anything, so I called for an update with almost no information given other than "we will call you when it's here." After 13 months (June 2019) I reached out to the designer who said I would receive a call from A Love Story and that it was in fact in production. After about a week I still hadn't received a call, so I called them and they said my dress would be sent to them "soon." Finally, in July my dress arrived. It was very stressful not being given any increments of time or reassurance, I was ready to go buy another dress off the rack out of fear it would never come for how vague the phone calls were. I also had a destination wedding, therefore having less than 2 months for alterations was stressful, thankfully it didn't need much done to it! My advice brides to be, only come here if you have PLENTY of time and a lot of patience.

The beginning of our experience with Angela's bridal was actually great. I had a good experience trying on dresses and my consultant really did a wonderful job helping me find the perfect dress (Dori by Hayley Paige) with my family surrounding me in their beautiful storefront. Unfortunately, my praises end there. I ordered my dress in August 2018 for my wedding in July 2019. My dress came 4 weeks prior to my wedding and did not zip (and I had truly not changed at all in size). I had 3 alterations appointments in a tiny, hot residential apartment in Albany as they were in the process of moving from Albany to Troy. The woman in alterations kept ignoring my additional concerns regarding missing rhinestones and extra fabric on a seam in the front of the dress. After my 2nd appointment, the dress still did not zip. When I became emotional as I had less than 2 weeks before my wedding, the woman in alterations abruptly and rudely told me to stop crying and that I was worrying over nothing. On my last appointment, I had to spend over 2 hours fighting to have the changes made to get my wedding dress to look the way I wanted it to (adding back missing rhinestones and tacking down extra fabric that was sticking out along the front seams). I am a very passive, calm person typically but having this woman ignore my reasonable wishes for my wedding dress that I paid a lot of money for made me pretty livid. In the end, it did fit and looked beautiful but I had the worst experience to get the dress to that point. I would never recommend this bridal salon.

They helped me find exactly what I was looking for within my price range, ordered the correct size and it came within plenty of time! I LOVED my Paloma Blanca dress!! Highly recommend Angela’s Bridal!

This small boutique is absolutely adorable and full of beautiful and most importantly AFFORDABLE gowns. I love the one on one experience this shop offers. It is nice that your family and bridesmaids/friends and the bride really get special attention which is necessary in order to be able to find the dress of your dreams! Meghan took amazing care of me! She was so incredibly helpful and patient! Just as an example, at one point, Meghan helped me switch back and forth between two different dresses at least three times until I was finally able to decide on my dress. I love that they waited to put the vail on until it was down to two dresses that helped me decide. Meghan really listened to what I wanted – she selected dresses that complimented my body type and personality. She offered advice and made suggestions that helped me to think deeply about my wedding and what I wanted. Additionally, when waiting for the dress to be delivered I contacted Meghan and she worked hard to determine when the dress was going to be delivered. I do wish that they did alterations in store but, they did offer names of seamstresses in the area. I am very grateful that I came across this beautiful boutique and highly recommend this shop to all brides I come in talk to!

I had such an amazing experience at Angela's. Prior to visiting Angela's, I had gone to 2 other shops in the area, and found dresses i "liked". But i knew i was holding out for my Angela's appointment. As soon as i walked into the doors, I was immediately blown away by how GORGEOUS the store is! I was greeted by Nora and i swear she chatted with me like we had been friends forever! She was so patient and honest with me. I seriously think she would have let me try on every dress in the store - if that's what i wanted! She helped me into each dress so my mom and sister could just sit back for the fashion show. Picking the dress was easy - it was the first one i tried on and i couldn't stop thinking about it. After trying all the dresses i put in the dressing room, all i wanted to do was put that first one back on again. After saying yes, Nora popped the Champagne, and we celebrated! I left that day feeling loved and so happy with my decision. Every fitting after that was great. there's really something special about how the owner of the shop meets with every bride to do their alterations. At my last fitting, I tried on the dress and it fit like a glove. However, There was one minor thing (that was hardly noticeable), but the ladies would not let me leave unless the dress was perfect. They spent the day fixing it just so i could pick it up later that night. Shopping here was the best decision i made and i truly believe every bride NEEDS to experience Angela's.

After going to five stores, I was ready to find "the dress." The staff at A Love Story was very helpful and accommodating. They knew before I knew that I would find my dress there. It was a very personalized experience with my two girlfriends and I at the bridal shop. The employees we worked with were super friendly and even played some of my favorite music as I said "yes" to the dress. Their intimate setting made it feel like it really was your time and an important day in your wedding planning.

I found Angelas because I got married in Saratoga but live in Brooklyn. I knew that I wanted a specific dress and Angelas could order it for me even though they didn’t carry it- awesome! Unfortunately the scheduling of appointments and the alterations process was not so easy. The alterations ended up being fine but required several additional appointments because the incorrect changes were made and needed to be reversed and whatnot. At my final fitting the length was uneven but we just had to accept it because my wedding was less than two days away. My bustle didn’t stay at all and given I had a long train it made for a long night. I can deal with additional appointments but the customer service was so terrible on top of that. They were difficult to get on the phone and just extremely inconsiderate of my time and schedule and made the process more stressful than it needed to be. The store is beautiful and they have the best selection of dresses in the area but the whole experience was not pleasant.

Wonderful experience!! I'm not a size 2 (not even a size 12) and if I am being honest the dress and feeling pretty on my big day what what I was most nervous about. I am a tom boy, I like sports and sweat pants and put makeup on a handful of times a year. But this was my wedding and I wanted to feel pretty and from the moment I stepped into Angela's I felt that way. My consultant, Rosa was amazing and kept my spirits up when sample dresses didn't fit. And once I said yes to a dress she made celebrated with my family and friends. The first fitting was also great (with Janet), the second I become a little nervous about the top being to lose which wasn't addressed on that visit but when I picked up my dress and still had the concern the Angela team worked on it until I was happy. Highly recommend.

I loved being an Angela's bride! I knew from the beginning that I really wanted a Pronovias gown so when I saw Angela's was having a trunk show I made an appt right away. All the girls there are so amazing and make you feel your absolute best! My gown was strapless, but because I was having a church ceremony I wanted a lace long sleeve jacket. They found the perfect jacket (also from Pronovias) and it matched my dress spot on! The jacket needed some alteration as there was a lot of tool for the tie in the back. They were able to modify it so it closed with buttons that matched the ones on the back of my dress. All of my bridesmaids got dresses at Angela's as well and they were absolutely stunning! I could not be happier with my experience at Angela's.

My journey with Angela's was a bit different than most brides, but my experience was nothing short of perfect. My wedding was in early October this year and I had purchased a dress in October of the previous year. I did the whole New York City thing, tried on several dresses and found what I thought was "the one" on my first outing. When the dress came in, it was the wrong color, and the lace on it just didn't look as I had remembered when I ordered it. By the time I got to my alterations, I was convincing myself that I liked it. I kept thinking that each appointment would make me like it more but it just didn't. So, finally, 6 weeks before my wedding, I went to Angela's on a whim. I was so upset, but the team at Angela's made me feel so much better. I found a dress that was EXACTLY what I was looking for and bought it right on the spot -- I didnt't even have an appointment and they fit me right in to accomodate my situation. They even rushed my alterations appointments so it would be ready for my big day. And ready it was! My dress was beyond beautiful. I felt how I always thought I would feel putting on my dress and it's all because of the Angela's staff. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop. They are friendly, helpful and I'm proof positive that they have seen it all :).

Meghan was amazing and was so on point and knew exactly what I was looking for and could read me and know what type of dress was going to fit me and my personality and theme of the wedding. I highly recommend this Bridal shop to anyone who know what they want and suggest they speak to Meghan or her team!!

I had the absolute best experience at this place! I had stopped into a couple of other shops and felt like every place was incredibly stuffy, pretentious, and showy. The second I walked through the door and saw two young and cool girls in a shop with an industrial loft kind of feel, I knew I was in the right place. They were super experienced and full of wisdom as they guided me through the wedding dress process. They were extremely patient with me as I tried on almost every dress in the store, and put on and took of the dress I ended up buying - no less than five times. I could not have been happier with my experience or my dress on my wedding day.

When I started dress shopping, I had gone to 3 or 4 different shops - some local boutiques, and of course David's Bridal. There were dresses that were okay and could've worked fine. They all had attendants that helped me get into and out of dresses, and all had offered suggestions, but nothing like A Love Story Bridal. Even before I had gotten engaged, I knew that I wanted to go dress shopping here. Every time I looked through the window, there was always something there! Since it's a smaller shop, you always had personal attention and didn't have to worry about another bride to be in the shop with you also shopping for a dress. It was intimate, personal, and they had a great selection of gowns. I stepped into the dress that I ultimately went with, and loved it, but wanted to be sure before I dropped all that money on it, and was able to go back again several weeks later to get it! They were so accommodating and were not at all pushy. They gave suggestions and were just a joy to shop with!

This was the first shop I went to and (after going to 3-4 others) I found myself back here to get my dream dress! The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They gave me different ideas and never made me feel rushed or pressured. I love how they only do only one appointment in the shop at a time, it felt really personal and not overwhelming. Their selection is beautiful and their pricing is very fair. It was easy to communicate with them from start to end. So happy I went with this adorable shop and friendly staff!

We were so fortunate to find A Love Story Bridal! I went first to David's Bridal and had such a difficult time finding the lady who was supposed to be helping me and she picked out all the wrong styles. At A Love Story Bridal we found my dress within the first 5 minutes and it was everything I could have dreamed of! They had champagne for a celebration toast and my family and bridesmaids had such an amazing experience! I would whole heartily suggest to any future bride to stop in here to find their perfect dress! I'm so glad that I did!

A Love Story Bridal is a special experience! A small and intimate store with a solid selection and the most pleasant salespeople ever. My mom and I were the only people in the store, and the salespeople never pressured us and were incredibly helpful. My experience matches that of all of the other reviews. I would even go so far as to say that I want to be friends with the two women running the store. I got a quality dress for half of the price and I feel wonderful!

Angela’s was the only bridal shop I needed to visit to find my perfect dress. They have such a wide range of styles and even built custom straps for a strapless dress I fell in love with. All of the girls who work there are fantastic and each employee will go out of their way to make sure each customer gets exactly what they need and looks beautiful.

Angela's is the place you WANT to find your dress. I first walked in, saw the gorgeous marble and the beautiful people and thought "wow I hope I find it here." And then, the "this is it" that I previously thought was total BS actually HAPPENED. And it was amazing and they laughed and celebrated with me and made me feel like THE most special -- as I'm sure they do to every wonderful bride who walks in those doors. The alteration process was literally perfect -- they did everything right and the dress was exactly how i envisioned it. The PEOPLE though-- that's the best part. Especially my girl Rosa! But seriously -- every phone conversation, fitting, Instagram exchange -- it was like they were thrilled to speak to me. And I imagine it's hard to keep up that spirit all the time! Honestly just so impressed with everything about Angela's. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I had an amazing experience last May trying on dresses at A Love Story Bridal. The shop is small and easily navigated and you're given a 1-1 appointment with a knowledgeable consultant. I was the only bride there at the time, which made looking at and trying on dresses a personal, unique experience. The consultant was attentive and helpful and I never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything. The assortment of second-hand dresses (previously samples) was nice, as well as the variety of new designer dresses. I ended up falling in love with a designer dress and went back and bought it a few days later. The dress arrived within the scheduled window and I felt fantastic on my wedding day!

My experience here was amazing! I worked with Taylor and Meghan, and they were a great team. The boutique is small, but the dress selection is beautiful and diverse. They listen to you, communicate with you, and help find you dresses based off your reactions to other ones. They feel like they try to actually get to know you, which is so refreshing compared to other places I have gone where they make you rate dresses on a scale of 1-10. That doesn't help make decisions in my opinion! I completely fell in love with a dress that I did not pick out, one that Meghan called a "wild card" but she had convinced me to give it a try and I could not be more thankful. I highly suggest this place for any bride that wants a nice refreshing dress experience. Even if you don't find your dress there, you'll love the experience and at least leave knowing a lot more.

​ Angela’s Bridal was the perfect place to find my perfect wedding dress. I’d always heard wonderful things about Angela’s and I can now say they are all true! I initially inquired for a trunk show and spoke the Nora (aka the dress whisperer). Upon meeting her, she was SO sweet, listened to my dress desires and concerns, gave me great advice & feedback and made me feel so comfortable. We choose my dress that day, but the fantastic customer service did not end there. She kept in contact with me as my dress was delivered and met with me for both of my fittings and on pick-up day. She showed my mom multiple times how to bustle my dress and left us feeling 100% confident. I am so grateful to Nora and Angela’s Bridal for giving me my dream dress wedding dress.

My experience at A Love Story was picture perfect. From the second I walked in the door. The owner was so accommodating and cool. I am so glad I ended up finding my perfect dream dress at this adorable little shop! The shop has something for EVERYONE. My favorite part about my appointment was the one on one time, there was no distractions & pressure to buy something that wasnt my style . It was an experience I will remember forever! Angela’s Bridal is amazing! I met with Nora when I first went and she was extremely helpful and knew exactly what to grab based on what I was looking for. I obviously ultimately found my dress there, and ended up getting my alterations there as well. Each visit, Nora would pop in to say hi and make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it to be. Needless to say, my dress came out exactly how I wanted because they made sure it was perfect. Thank you!!

In addition to carrying beautiful and new styles, Angela's is full of the most helpful and heartfelt ladies in the Capital Region. This was my third time in the store (my sister's both purchased their dresses from Angela's) and everything was absolutely perfect. I enjoyed the full progress from picking out and trying on gowns to alternatives to the final pickup. The staff was wonderful and truly understood what dresses would fit my style, venue, and shape. If you're looking for a place to do your dress shopping - it has to be Angela's!

It was a pleasure working with the ladies at Love Story Bridal. They were extremely accommodating to my family and I, which made for a great experience. The girls did a great job guiding me through my indecisiveness and I left feeling confident in my decision. I couldn't thank them enough!

My Bridesmaid's got their dresses here . The experience was mostly great. When we were picking out dresses they were attentive and knowledgeable. The only problem I had was that we had originally been told the dresses would take 3-5 months ( I don't know if that's accurate information or not) but it had been about 2 weeks past the 5 month mark and I called to check on the dresses and the girl was rather rude and couldn't give me an update- which may be true, but I had been able to check on dresses from other shops in the past, so I didn't appreciate the attitude. So a few days later, one of my bridesmaids called to check on her dress and was told she couldn't get any information, the bride was the only one who could be updated, which I find weird since she was the one who purchased the dress. It would have been fine if we were given the same information from start to finish, but I feel like we were constantly being given different information based on who we talked to. All in all, we got the dresses, and the staff that was there when she picked up our dresses was again very good. The dresses were absolutely stunning, our first experience there was great, and despite the bumps in the road, I would still recommend them.

Angela's Bridal is the best store for one of a kind dresses and a personal bridal experience. After trying on several dresses that I had selected and giving feedback on each one, Nora said she had one more dress for me to try on. It was a dress that I would have never picked out myself but it ended up being the one. Schuyler and Rosa are both professional and friendly, and provide the best customer service through out the whole experience. After several dress fittings, I still was unsure of the fit at the top of my dress. A little over a week before the wedding, the owner had the seamstress sew in a corset to add shape to the dress. When I went to pick up the dress and have a final fitting I noticed the top still didn't look quite right. Nora stayed with me for three hours helping to make last minute adjustments to the dress. It ended up looking perfect and I can't thank her enough!

I couldn’t have been happier with the service and attention I received at Angela’s! It felt like we had the whole shop to ourselves. There are so many amazing and unique gowns to choose from :) I had an extremely personal and professional experience at Angela’s and highly recommend it.

I could not be happier with my experience working with Angela's, from the day I made the appointment to try on dresses to the day I picked up my wedding dress. I made appointments to try on dresses at two salons and I am so glad my appointment at Angela's was first--it was the only one I needed. They made the appointment feel special, as if you were the only bride in the world. They started by asking what I was looking for and told me and the rest of the girls with me to take a look through all the dresses and pick out the ones we liked best. As it turns out, what I thought I wanted wasn't working at all, and a style I never imagined myself in was ultimately my perfect dress. This is completely to the credit of the consultant, who listened so carefully to what I was looking for and what I loved and hated about each dress I tried on. I am so glad she pulled the dress that she did, because I would have never thought to pick it out myself! I never felt pressured at all through the appointment and she helped keep me calm as I tried on dress after dress. Once it came time for fittings, the salon was very proactive in setting appointments and making sure there was plenty of time for adjustments. Throughout multiple fittings, the staff listened to all of my feedback and were very responsive in making the necessary changes. For my very last fitting (two days before the wedding) the dress didn't fit quite right at the top, but in less than an hour the dress had been altered and fit perfectly. They were happy to make the changes and completely calm throughout the process, which helped me stay calm and not stress out about anything. I am thrilled with my entire experience and am so glad I chose Angela's.

I want to start out by saying that we did not get any of our dresses here, but I really wish we had! Two of my girls got their bridesmaid dresses at another (disastrous) bridal salon and up to a week and a half before the wedding had not had their dresses come in. I ended up seeing reviews and news articles about this other salon and about their dishonest practices, and in a panic I began calling other bridal salons in the area to see if we could get any of the dresses off the rack. Skylar answered the phone and was SO helpful in giving me information about steps to take next, and she was BEYOND helpful in going out of her way to try to help us out. Thankfully our dresses came in at the other place a week before and we didn't need to scramble, but Skylar called and followed up to make sure we were set. This place has the most AMAZING customer service! Thank you Skylar!

I did not remotely expect to find my wedding dress in Albany, and had already booked trips to NYC and Boston when I wandered into Angela's with my mother on a whim. Our consultant, Nora, was beyond amazing, and I ended up finding my dream dress that day. Throughout the entire process Nora, Schuyler, Janet, and the entire team were amazing and so fun to work with. It could not have been a more perfect experience from start to finish, and I would highly recommend Angela's to anyone.

I can't say enough great things about A Love Story. I not only found the dress of my dreams but had a phenomenal time doing so. Super cute store and a great selection of dresses. Taylor was amazing and made me feel so comfortable! My experience was picture perfect and I can't wait to put my dress back on❤️

My dress was absolute perfection! Really everything about the Angela's experience was perfect. I am an out of town bride, but heard great things so I had to check it out. Nora took care of me from the moment I walked in the door, saw my vision, and delivered on my dream dress. Every time I came back to get fitted they treated me like family. If you want a beautiful dress and an awesome experience, I highly suggest you come here!

Angela's Bridal was amazing to work with from beginning to end! My consultant Nora was able to figure out exactly what I needed, and guided me in the right direction to find my dream dress! Every visit back proved even more enjoyable, from testing out shoes with my dress, finding the perfect veil / hair piece to match, and even ordering my bridesmaid dresses. They were always accommodating no matter the request. Everything was on time, and alterations were perfect. The dress fit me like a glove. They were even able to make a last minute change to my bustle per my request on pick up day. The entire staff was extremely pleasant and fun to be around, and I will sincerely miss working with all of them!

I loved my experience at Angelas! The wedding dress is such a large element of a wedding and I was struggling when it came to finding mine. What I thought I wanted I didn't end up liking and was struggling with my body image. I was about to hang up the towel on my appointment here but my consultant was not giving up on me. She pulled out this dress that with some alterations basically was a collection of the all elements I loved from other dresses. She made be feel beautiful and confident with my choice. Working with the team and the alterations department was perfect. If something wasn't how I wanted it they would fix it and the dress turned out to be more then I could have ever dreamed of. The dress really made the wedding for me. I would work with Angelas again in a heartbeat!

I would not recommend Angela's Bridal after the experience I had with my alterations. They were done very poorly. The loop holes for the buttons were too large, so my dress came unbuttoned all night. The bustle partially broke and kept coming undone whenever I moved around a lot--the worst part is it happened during my first dance with my husband. We had to keep redoing the bustle and buttons all night. There were loose strings all over the top part of my dress, small holes on the train. The underneath was wrinkled. The corset that came with the dress did not work with it. They did resolve this issue, but not until 20 minutes before I took my dress home. I did not notice all of the other issues with my dress when I picked it up. If I did, I wouldn't have taken it until it was right. When you invest in a store you hope you will be valued. During all 4 fittings the owner did not look over the dress on me once. She never called my mother back or myself about our concerns until after all of our issues happened after the wedding. The seamstress made many comments telling me not to eat too much during the holidays- this is after she stretched the delicate fabric out so it wouldn't be too tight. We had a lot of unfortunate dealings during alterations. I am also wondering if my dress was ordered too small to begin with. I am NOT bridal gown expert so I put my trust in this store, not ever imagining this would happen. When you pick out a dress one year before your wedding you expect it to be just perfect. When you pay $500.00 for alterations, you expect it to be done correctly. There are so many things out of your control for your wedding, so your bridal gown should be something you feel good about. From the time I tried my own dress on in November I was stressed out about how it fit me. This could have been avoided if proper care and communication happened between the owner, myself, and the seamstress.

From the moment I walked in for my first appointment and fell in love with my dream dress from Hayley Paige, until the day of my wedding, Angela's Bridal was there to make sure everything was perfect. Because of them, I not only had the perfect dress & fit but the owner Janet actually came to my wedding venue to save the day after a bridesmaid dress malfunction (which was no fault of Angela's Bridal). I cannot say enough wonderful things about Janet, Nora, Chella, Michelle and all the lovely ladies at Angela's. If you are engaged and looking for the perfect place to find your dream dress look no further! Tatiana was awesome, very kind and helpful. She wasn't pushy. Although I haven't picked out a dress yet. I definitely would recommend this store.

I didn't purchased my dress here, but I had Janet Cooper (owner) alter my dress. She did a STUNNING job. She added sleeves which were lovely. I can't recommend her enough!

Angela's was great from the first time trying on dresses through picking up the dress. They were incredibly helpful and even let my sister video how to tie my sash so it could be perfect the day of the wedding!
