unately we were surprised to hear of your disappointment of the Italian cream tiers on the brides cake which consisted of the 2 out of 4 tiers. As discussed on the phone with you, we do not freeze our cakes, freezing wedding cakes causes cracking in the buttercream, sweating as it thaws, and inability to put dowel rod structure through it to stack. This was not an issue for your brides cake and it is impossible to only have half the cake frozen as you mentioned being happy with the 2 pink champagne tiers. Your cake was baked fresh the week of your wedding , decorated and delivered personally by me. Additionally, after confirming with the venue which we have a relationship with, your cake had no complaints day of your event. Package C as it states on the website includes a brides cake 4 tier and a grooms cake with an edible image logo on top which is what you received and additionally was given $75 flavor upgrade off the package pricing for the brides cake. Since the groom chose strawberry cake the grooms cake was frosted in white with the eagles logo as purchased. We were happy to upgrade the grooms design with additional decorations as you included in a picture to your review, yes we offer eleborate grooms cakes! You did not order the golf ball cake, this would have been a significant upgrade. The grooms cake you paid for was a package design including an edible image chosen by you. We never surprise any bride and groom on their wedding day with a design, all designs are sketched and clearly stated and confirmed for your proof. The cake design was also confirmed by you via email before the wedding. You received a beautiful 4 tier brides cake with Swiss dot and smooth alternating tiers to compliment the custom sketch you were provided. We encourage all of our brides to have their catering staff disassemble a wedding cake for service in lieu of a family member who hasn't had wedding cake cutting experience. The $200 offered to you was requested by you when we asked what would make you happy and was declined. We ask that when a refund is given you are agreeing to a resolution and satisfied with the outcome in writing. Since you declined this offer no refund was given as the wedding cake was cut and served to guests and there was no proof of your complaint we offered a refund in good faith.
