I love to share the magic of harp music from proposals to bridal showers, elopements, and weddings / cocktail hours / receptions, to baby showers! Since my first piano lesson at age seven, I have been passionate about music, and trained in classical piano and violin at Oberlin College in Ohio.
Twenty-five years ago I fell in love with the beauty and mystery of the Celtic harp, and it has been my passion ever since. It is elegant, ethereal, and enchanting -- you will be delighted by the gorgeous sound.
In a personal music consultation, we will design together a program especially for you, filled with your special songs to create an enchanting atmosphere for a wedding you will always cherish.

Amy was fantastic! She played during our ceremony and cocktail hour for our outdoor wedding. Hearing the sound of her playing as I walked out was so comforting and beautiful. Amy was also very professional and contacted us well ahead of time to prepare the schedule of the songs and our preferred songs. She was even open to learning new and special songs for us. I loved their enthusiasm and kindness throughout this stressful process and am lucky to have wonderful vendors like her who make it feel seamless.

Amy was so amazing to work with! She was flexible with being able to bring her lap harp on a pontoon boat and able then switching to her large harp for on land!
She was so detailed and pleasant, we received a number of compliments from our guests because she brought everything together and made moment feel romantic!

I booked Amy for an outdoor tea party shower. It added such elegance people are still talking about it. The music was loud enough to enjoy and yet still be able to have conversations. She did bring an amp just in case but didn’t need it. Amy has an extensive list of songs to choose from but I asked her to pick them and was very happy with her selections. She is professional and very friendly and even invited guests to come up afterward and check out the harp which we did. We communicated a lot prior to the event and she was accommodating when I had to change the time due to the midday heat. I highly recommend Amy if you are looking for a harpist.

We hired Amy , to play at our wedding ceremony this January. She is an amazing artist, incredibly talented, professional, kindhearted, punctual and reliable.
Amy is such a sweetheart to work with, and she made this whole experience easy and enjoyable , and was in a constant communication with us , the months leading up to our wedding, making sure we are happy with the music selection, sending us different song options , and so on. Amy played both our ceremony and cocktail hour and she was absolutely amazing. We got so many compliments on her beautiful music and she set the mood and tone so so well. She is more than reasonably priced and absolutely worth the investment of having live music instead of a speaker. She has a long list of songs and is willing to learn requests too! A dream

The music was a beautiful addition to our special day and the fact she was willing to learn music specific to us as a couple truly made it magical. The flexibility in Amy’s schedule when we had a last minute delay was absolutely amazing despite her other commitments later that day! Amy was awesome! I had very little idea about what songs I wanted, all I knew is that I wanted a harpist. Amy patiently helped me pick songs and was very easy to work with. She let me know right away if there was a song I mentioned that could not be played on the harp and she quickly suggested a substitute. Her music is beatiful, and she did a great job!

I have had the pleasure to hear Amy’s beautiful harp playing many times as I am a wedding officiant and Amy has performed at several weddings I have done. I have enjoyed hearing her play at other events and I am so impressed with her talent and professionalism. Her harp playing is exquisite and she has an amazing background in so many different instruments as well. I recently worked with Amy on a 100 degree day in summer at a wedding. She was playing the music for quite a while before the ceremony began when we received word that the ceremony was going to be delayed for 45 minutes. The guests all went inside to cool off and Amy stayed in the heat and continued to play in case they came back out. What a Trooper, I was so impressed. She adds such beauty to all the events with her gifted musical ability.

My wedding was on 12/13/2013
I NEVER give a 5 out of 5 rating, but for Amy, I could not give anything else. Amy was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. I live in Chicago and my wedding was in San Diego. Although we could not meet before the wedding, Amy responded to my phone calls and emails almost immediately. She learned several songs per our request and she played beautifully during the ceremony and reception. I would recommend Amy to anyone for their wedding or any event. She added a touch of elegance and class to our wedding no other musician could have offered.
