m. His website is thoughtfully designed to help couples easily choose the music they want for their big day, and if a song wasn’t on his list, he was more than happy to get it for us! He provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and every stage sounded exactly how we had pictured our special day. He truly understood our vision and helped make the entire day feel so special. We cannot recommend DJUJ enough! He is truly a gem in a world of DJs, and we are so grateful he was part of our wedding!
We recently had our wedding at The Brix earlier this month, and we couldn’t have picked a better DJ and MC than DJUJ! From start to finish, he was absolutely incredible.
Not only ...
was he professional and knowledgeable, but he also knew exactly how to keep everything running smoothly. He understood our timeline, knew when to make announcements and coordinate cues, and made sure every part of the evening flowed seamlessly. It was clear that he truly knew his craft and had everything under control, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our special day without worrying about a thing.
Beyond his expertise, he was incredibly kind, personable, and easy to work with throughout the process. He brought such great energy into the room, kept our guests engaged, and did an amazing job selecting music that kept the atmosphere fun and lively. He knew how to read the room and keep the celebration going!
Your DJ and MC play such an important role in your wedding day, and DJUJ truly went above and beyond to make ours memorable. We are so grateful we chose him and would wholeheartedly recommend him to any couple looking for someone professional, talented, and genuinely great at what he does. He helped make our wedding day and evening everything we hoped for and more!

the entire evening perfectly. Jimmy brought such great energy to our wedding and truly knew how to keep the party going! One of my favorite personal touches was that he took my little “disclaimer” about being a HUGE boyband fan seriously and played some of my favorites without me even having to request them. 🥹 It’s those little details that made the night feel so special, and just US! Everyone absolutely loved Jimmy and we honestly think the quality of service he provides is worth even more than he charges. He goes above and beyond, and it shows! We had an absolute blast and hope Jimmy had just as much fun celebrating with us! We would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a DJ who brings the energy, pays attention to the details, and helps make your wedding unforgettable!
We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! The music was great, the energy was amazing, and the dance floor stayed packed all night. Everything ran smoothly, and they ...

. The transitions were seamless and the music was great! He knew when to switch things up and kept the party flowing without us ever having to worry about a thing. He helped make our wedding so much fun, and we’re so glad we chose him to be part of our special day. He even did a freeze dance for the kids at the wedding while we were getting the night started. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who knows how to keep a party going!

irst dance, and cake cutting and a few other things. Lots of things went into having a smooth day but DjUjs amazing work is one of those reasons. Our venue the Brix also has a light system and my nephew got curious about it. DjUj actually showed him how to work the system and encouraged him to work the lights. It was so sweet and my nephew loved it! To people wondering if they even need a DJ... YES! Do not underestimate the power of a great DJ. Thank you DJUj!
James was super professional and prepared us in every way for our event to be successful. He provided us with a login to his client website where we were able to provide timelines...
and insert song choices keeping him informed of our wedding ceremony and reception vision. He came to the venue very well prepared with all of the necessary equipment, microphones, speakers, DJ booth, lighting, and even a disco ball. He carefully planned our ceremony and cocktail hour and provided a party at the reception. I don't think it would have been a successful day without him, especially the reception. The sound and lighting were spectacular. Can't say enough good things about James and highly highly recommend him for your next event!!!
1000000% book him!!!! SOOOO GOOD! He understood the vibe and the dance floor was always full!! Highly recommend booking him for your wedding!

He played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception- and everything was timed absolutely perfectly, it was beyond our wildest dreams!!! ortant that we get a custom record yearly. DJ UJ (James) made sure he knew that, respected that, and helped make our wedding about that. We had a LONG time of dancing planned, so long we were a little nervous people wouldn’t make the distance, DJ UJ made it to where the dance floor was active and insanely fun up until the very end. He also respected both of our families differing heritages and included some songs to bring both sides together, included songs of our favorite artists that were perfect for the wedding, threw in some phenomenal remixes, and his planning system was easy to use and made being a bride easy. As an MC he was just as great and kept our event on time, hype, and overall perfect. If you need a DJ, you need him!

Not only did he play great songs but we also knows how to excite the crowd by moving around the dance floor as well. The day after our wedding, so many of our guests complimented how much fun our wedding was and they couldn’t remember the last time they danced that much. DJ James was super easy to work with and very laid back. I truly could not recommend this DJ more than enough.

, which immediately put us at ease during the planning process. We hosted our wedding at The Brix on 11.30.25 and James’s familiarity with the venue made such a difference. He knew the space well and handled the flow of the evening seamlessly.
I was especially nervous about how our three different ethnic music styles (Mongolian, American & Latin American) would come together, but James executed everything beautifully. The transitions felt natural, the energy stayed high, and every group felt represented on the dance floor.
James is not only talented, but also thoughtful and professional. He truly listened to what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. Our guests had an amazing time, and we are still hearing how much fun the music was.
James is definitely someone who understands diverse music, knows how to read a crowd, and creates an unforgettable party. I cannot recommend DJUJ enough.

y their team. We could not be more thrilled with and happy with our experience with James! He has a super helpful website in which we were able to pick "must play," "play if possible," and "do not play" songs. We were also able to submit our timeline for the day of and special dance songs. Of all the things you worry about throughout planning a wedding, I had zero worries or anxiety with James. He is so calm, cool, and collected and knows exactly what he is doing with sound, lighting, volume, etc. On the day of, he followed our timeline perfectly and worked so well with our coordinators to make sure the day ran smoothly and we stayed on track. e night long, not even kidding. He made the entire process so easy, he is literally the easiest person to talk to, so nice and full of energy. He made my life a million times easier by telling me I could just send him all my playlists I made on Apple Music rather than uploading each song individually into his website. Such a time saver and makes the process quick and easy. All the little requests or directions I gave to him, he nailed every single one of them. The music from start to finish - ceremony, cocktail hour & reception was spot on with what I had in mind. We received so many compliments from our guests about him. Cannot beat his pricing either! 12/10 would recommend DJUJ time and time again!!!! Thank you so much Jimmy!!

ed out to Jimmy to see if any coincided with his availability as I would not plan my wedding without him being a part of it! I still have people complimenting the music and how wonderful our DJ was. Multiple family members and friends with weddings in various stages of planning have already reached out in hopes to lock him in for their wedding dates. Jimmy provided the uplighting for the dance floor as well as a rotating disco ball - we did not even have to hire an additional vendor for lighting. Having great music and getting people to dance was one of my major MUST HAVES for our celebration and with Jimmy in charge I didn't have to think about it twice. Such a great party and we couldn't have had the same success without him!
I highly recommend DJ Uj!!! He was so friendly to plan with and everyone loved the dancing which is what we cared most about!!!
