I absolutely LOVED having cutting edge be a part of my day. Ron was amazing with communication, quick responses to emails and was patient with me and my indecisiveness 😂 the team that was present at our wedding had such great professionalism and made our day so easy. 11/10 recommend. PS the photo booth was a HUGE hit!

Pros: The wedding was beautiful and small. Kevin did a good enough job to get the few amount of people on the dance floor. (We all had a good time and that’s the main point.) Cons: The recessional song played when the judge announced us as husband and wife was wrong. I don’t know if the cocktail hour and dinner music was being played but I couldn’t hear it and the hall echoed with everyone’s conversations. The song picked to play during the cake cutting was a tonal shift from our other songs. (To be fair, I did select DJ choice.) Only one of our bride/groom requested songs (besides the first dances songs) was played. My sister and brother-in-law’s 15th wedding anniversary was the next day and I asked for there to be a special shout to them. (I put in the form and asked the DJ when I requested the song to be played.) It didn’t happen. Majority of the songs played were country or cumbias. (Which our family/guest danced to, but we didn’t have equal amounts of Alt Pop and 90s/00s music as requested. Which the we were looking forward to.) The groom’s uncle requested the bunny hop. He’s an older gentleman. Which bunny hop would he be asking for? The classic/simple one or the early 00s with more “complex” steps. The complex song was played and we then awkwardly danced around in a circle because they were expecting the classic and no one knew the steps. Summary: He did a good job. We all danced and had a nice time. We just didn’t get majority of the songs we requested.

We had an incredible experience with Cutting Edge Entertainment for our wedding DJ and photo booth. From the planning process to the big day, communication was a breeze. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and kindness set them apart. Everything went smoothly, and we couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch entertainment for their special day!

Our DJ Jerry was fabulous. I did not have a super set schedule and was playing some stuff by ear. He did fantastic coordinating with my photographer and event coordinator and going with the flow when I needed to move time tables up or back. He engaged exactly as much as we needed and was a huge part of making our day a success. Before the wedding Ron, Aminda, and Trey were great at communicating, even when I was not. They were happy to offer in person, phone, or Skype consults to make sure we had everything we need. 100% would recommend this company.

My husband and I can’t recommend Cutting Edge Entertainment enough!!! Ron & Trey were great to work with and made the entire process super easy for us! They respond to all questions very quickly and were always available to help us. We also loved getting to use their planning app. Tavyn was our DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception. He did SUCH an OUTSTANDING job! Our family and friends were dancing all night long!! He truly helped make our night unforgettable. Cutting edge entertainment highly recommended. Wonderful staff , extremely professional, attention to every detail , DJ understood the guest and played the music we wanted. They worked very hard to make sure our wedding was flawless and every one of our guest had an amazing time. We had a picture booth and the staff taking care of the booth was so much fun and very professional. I cannot say enough words on how great they made our wedding. From start to finish the whole crew was amazing! I have a very eclectic music collection, and Trey asked a bunch of questions that helped us hone it in for the day of. Honestly these questions helped us figure out a vision for the wedding and even gave us perfect suggestions too! Jacob was our DJ for the day off and if I wasn’t already married I could kiss the guy. He read the room and played our songs that we sent in beforehand only when we were in the room, which made the night feel so much more personal. The music I didn’t tell him to play was on point and also was great for our guests too! We had an older crowd at our wedding and he played music that got some of them up and dancing. I am very picky with my music and the vibes my music creates and the whole crew was amazing! They made the whole night that much more magical.

Cutting Edge Entertainment provided the music for my daughter's wedding reception on 4/29. I had waited until the last minute to find a DJ and was having a difficult time finding someone for our date whom I also felt would be a good fit. Turns out, this was a fabulous choice. The whole crew was very professional and easy to work with from the owner to the DJ and DJ in training. I really appreciated that the owner stopped by that evening and checked in with me.

Tavyn and his team were extremely easy to work with and made our DJ experience a breeze! Anytime I emailed a questions I would receive a response same day or a phone call so they could clarify. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely use them again!

Highly impressed with their services. We had a DJ and Photo Booth attendant for our wedding. Both were very professional, kind, and helpful! Eric went above and beyond to make sure each event flowed smoothly. He was also very flexible for last minute requests during the reception. Our Photo Booth attendant was very kind and friendly. Our guests loved using the props to take photos with. I would certainly hired them again as they made our night one to remember!

Book them and go for the photobooth! As an out of town bride, I really appreciated their frequent (but not too frequent) updates regarding our big day. I was never trying to "hunt someone down" for a reply; if I sent them an email someone would contact me back usually same day or next business day. Wedding day and reception couldn't have been better. At my small wedding (<100) the photobooth was a major hit and you get copies of every picture taken to get more candid shots of your guests. DJ was spot on regarding music hitting a mix of millennial pop and motown/funk as requested. Also, we added on sparkler cannon which could be done inside and went off for our last dance. Highly recommend, you will not regret this choice.

Wow! We had Tavyn DJ for our wedding and honestly we couldn't have asked for a better entertainer! He was so outgoing and had everyone dancing from the moment they got done eating till last call! We hired cutting edge entertainment for our wedding. Extremely friendly, welcoming and professional during all stages of to he process. We wanted a bilingual DJ and we elected to go with Rudy. We couldn't have been happier. They managed our event flawlessly and everyone had a great time. Accommodated every need we had and the ability to get the crowd up and dancing was fantastic!

Ron and Trey were amazing to work with! They were very professional and organized. We booked Cutting Edge a year before our wedding and they made the process easy and were always willing to help. Trey was a great DJ and MC and kept our wedding on track for us by announcing our events. He was very flexible in that I wanted to do a specific cultural dance and he was willing to work with me to get it done! We also added the mirror photo booth and it was a guest favorite!

Cutting Edge was extremely professional and personable from beginning to end! We always had constant communication with them and they consistently checked in with us to ensure everything was perfect for our wedding!! On our wedding night our DJ played the BEST songs. I shared with them that we had lots of different groups of people coming to the wedding and our DJ made sure there was a song played for everyone! I highly recommend them for any event.

The team at cutting edge made our daughter's wedding a true party! From the lighting, the music, and Obie's (our DJ) management of the night, it couldn't have been better! Several guests wanted to know who we used and commented on how great Obie was. He was involved when necessary, and knew when to step back and let things roll. The dance floor was full from the moment the first song was played! They also were very easy to communicate with, would recommend to everyone!

Rudy is the BEST! He was the DJ for our wedding in January 2022. He was incredibly helpful and flexible throughout the entire process. He really listened and paid attention to the music/vibes we wanted and nailed it. Our ceremony was perfect and then all of our guests danced the night away! I could not have asked for a better DJ. We hired Cutting Edge for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding. We had been told they were the best of the best and they were exactly that. Operations Manager Jeremy Carrizales was a pure delight to work with from start to finish. He made the entire process fun and easy and was exceptionally responsive and professional. From the moment we connected he was on top of every detail. DJ Tavyn Weyman was phenomenal. He was fun, thoughtful, energetic and tremendously responsive to the crowd. Ron and Jeremy were a pleasure to work with! Jeremy was our DJ on the day-of and he did an amazing job! He was very interactive with our guests and even made me laugh! We had this company for our wedding. The venue had some packages that everything was included so they reassured us that their vendors were very amazing. This company kept in touch and sent friendly reminders about our music worksheet. The communication between us and them was awesome. They were so professional and Rudy our DJ had such a positive attitude. Our experience was Amazing.

This company was referred to us by our wedding coordinator and right away we knew we wanted to book them! Ron was super knowledgeable and was always so quick to reply to my many emails! We originally had Scott as our DJ, but unfortunately due to the pandemic, he was unable to DJ for us. Cutting Edge was able to get us another DJ, Justin, just in time! Justin was great! All the songs we wanted were played, and he took a fantastic creative reign with the cocktail and dinner song choices. We had a special first dance that included a song transition with a cool funky record scratch, and Justin nailed it! Super impressed with Cutting Edge. They made music choices stress free!

We got married June 5th and our DJ Jeremy was amazing. I can not recommend him enough. We weren’t sure we needed a DJ initially but after last night I realize the wedding would have not been the same without him. We had an amazing time and he took care of so many details for us, and made sure that the dance floor kept going all night. Thank you so much Jeremy for everything!

We had Joshua Perez as our DJ for our wedding. People kept telling me they loved his dinner playlist and he took requests from our guests all night -- which I think were a lot. He did a good job of keeping people on the dance floor. Our photobooth attendant was also such a sweetheart. I think her name was Amanda. My niece was in the photobooth almost all night and she was so nice to her. Working with Cutting Edge was so simple and recommend them to anyone.

DJ JARED WAS PHENOMENAL! He was so professional, dependable, punctual, and helpful! He made amazing suggestions for our wedding that made it so much more memorable! He kept everyone dancing all night and I (the bride) didn’t have to worry about anything! He had it all under control and we all got to dance the night away!! Thank you, Jared !!!!!

I can't say enough great things about Cutting Edge. My wedding was Nov 9, 2019. Let me start of by saying Jeremy was the first person I meet at Cutting Edge and stayed in contact with me until the day of my wedding. Jeremy was amazing throughout the whole process he also went along with the DJ to ensure everything went as planned which made us feel so comfortable. DJ was professional and adapted well. They were on time a d so prepared. There was a slight change of placement and they adapted so well without stressing me out. Ron later in the reception also showed up and came up to me to ask if everything went well. Such a professional team/ company. They are worth every dollar. Will definitely use them again.

I can not say enough how thankful I am that we used Cutting Edge Entertainment for our wedding. Ron and Jeremy were absolutely wonderful to work with. We initially went with them because of Ron's quick response to our inquiry. Once we signed on with them we knew we made the right decision when my DAD (my stepfather was with me for 30 years and a daily presence and best friend in my life) passed away suddenly one month before the wedding. These guys were so supportive of me during this time as decisions that we had made were now having to be altered and I was in no way prepared to even think about how to make those choices. Jeremy was amazing, my final decision, choosing an alternate song to dance to with my father who had been absent from my life for 30 years was literally a last minute decision to have Jeremy himself pick something. He nailed it. I was so grateful for their overwhelming support, understanding and patience with me during this time. Cutting Edge Entertainment was more than just a DJ company for us, they were great friends and their support can never be repaid.

They saved the day as I had to change my ceremony venue two weeks prior to my wedding. Our DJ arrived early and had everything set up. They coordinated well with my wedding planner before the big day. Our guests commented that they loved seeing him in a tuxedo and played great music everyone could dance to! From the beginning, everyone at Cutting Edge has been amazing! Information was sent within an hour of receiving the request. Just enough email reminders were sent to keep things up to date. I was able to meet up with Ted, our DJ for the night, before the event and talk with him about expectations. I had no worries after I left that meeting with Ted. He contacted the venue manager to discuss specifics about the equipment logistics and let me know if there were any updates. The day of the wedding, it was great to see a familiar face who knew exactly what Brian and I and our guests were looking for. There was no shortage of good times. I definitely recommend Cutting Edge Entertainment for your wedding reception!

Cutting edge was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Josh was the highlight of the dance floor. Our guest were so impressed that our DJ Josh was so involved throughout the night and he even got on the dance floor during one song to show us how the steps went. It was easy working with both the administrative staff and our DJ, Scott. They listened to our every need and met it. Out of all the worries we had on our wedding day, entertainment was not one of them because of Cutting Edge Entertainment! I highly recommend them!

Cutting Edge was amazing to work with for our wedding. The entire dance floor was full the whole night. Music fun & upbeat, and the DJ did a great job catering to us & our guests.

We had a wonderful evening dancing the night away thanks to Jeremy at Cutting Edge Entertainment. We loved working with Cutting Edge because they were so organized and truly made our night exactly what we wanted. Many guests told us it was the best dance party they had been to at a wedding. Also, for you brides questioning if you need a wedding coordinator - we opted to save our money and rely on Cutting Edge to keep the night flowing and on schedule. Best decision ever and saved us money in the long run.

We were so happy with Cutting Edge! The company had never been to our venue so the owner made sure to come out and see the location before wedding day to prepare for all of the equipment they would need. A week before the wedding our DJ reached out to me and went through every requested song to make sure he had the correct version and was correctly pronouncing our family and wedding party names. It made me feel at ease and they they really cared to do a good job. Day of they played all of our requests, worked well with our coordinator and even honored song requests I had the day of. Their service was genuine, professional and fun! I would 100% hire them again!

This review is to warn other soon-to-be brides of the service that I received from Cutting Edge: Although I am sure that our DJ and his colleague tried their hardest to please the crowd, I feel like they were very unprepared for the reception and ceremony. My entrance song was not played in time creating an awkward moment for me as I was about to walk down the aisle. And once it was finally played, they left it on too long and the officiant was waiting on the DJ to fade out the song so that he could begin (approx about 15 seconds) creating more awkwardness. During the reception, our DJ was not very interactive with the crowd even though I told him to be very outgoing and even included that in the RFW form sent to you guys. He looked shy and quiet and didn't sound confident in what he was doing. Although I provided clear instructions on what I wanted to be played, he did not do this. His transitions from our games to the dancing and toasts were not smooth, he did not play background music while transitioning from games to dancing creating an awkward silence and our guests weren't sure what was going on. I told him during the wedding multiple times to stop the awkward silences but nothing was changed on his behalf. Throughout the entire reception, my husband and I wondered whether or not this was our DJ's first rodeo because he just did not look confident and was not doing as he was told. A bride should not have to go up to the DJ multiple times during her wedding to tell him to do as he was instructed, which is what I had to do creating more stress on my wedding night. I thought that since his more experienced colleague was there the entire night, he would be assisting our DJ more but this was not the case. The cherry on top of everything was the fact that one of my guests was kind enough to open a $400 tab at the bar and asked the DJ to announce it to the wedding guests, which he did not! Meaning that most of my guests missed out on the opportunity for free drinks. This truly angers me as the sole purpose of a DJ is to play music and make announcements and our DJ failed to make a very important announcement to my guests. I have reached out to them and although they apologized, they had an excuse for almost every complaint that I had. No refunds of any sort, no nothing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them to any of my friends or family. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else.
