We got many compliments from our guests on how great the food was and how it was so pleasantly different from the traditional chicken dinner that most couples have at their weddings. The Swedish meatballs were absolutely delicious, as well as all the sides! The service was amazing and the owners and their daughter are incredible to work with, quick to reply with any questions you might have, and are genuinely such sweet people. We highly recommend Northern Lights Ballroom & Catering for your wedding event!

Every time I asked her something she was back with the answer in an email that day or the next day. She always had the information I wanted and valuable information she thought I might want. Their professionalism was excellent and they were very kind, patient and polite with me. One thing that meant a lot to me was when I initially signed I mentioned that wedding planning was not something I was not real excited about doing because both my parents were deceased and I didn't really want a big wedding but my fiancée wanted it so I was going along with it for him. She told me she would help make it fun and she did help a lot and was very sensitive to that along the way which meant so much. They are very detail oriented in the planning and keep checking on items that need to be done without hounding you. The venue is beautiful and well kept for a reasonable price. The food was excellent. We received rave reviews. Our guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had. Especially the roast beef which is usually dry! The day of wedding planner was very helpful and receptive to our needs. She was very easy to find if we needed her which was very little. She was usually looking for us to ask if we were ok or needed anything. The servers and barstaff were friendly and polite. I have not one complaint about this place. We both said that. Not that we were looking for one but we couldn't find one in the overall experience. Topnotch!

Literally, not a single bad spot for pictures at this venue! Through Northern Lights, we were able to find affordable vendors and we got great value for our money, on the food and drinks. Our day of coordinator was fabulous! They made the entire process seamless and honestly, way less stressful than I ever expected. We recommend this team of professionals to all of our family and friends as our experience was so wonderful. Our family and friends continue to talk about what a nice wedding we had and how the food was top notch! I'm excited to share that this was truly the best day ever, and Northern Lights is to thank. The owners honored our down payment by upgrading us to their "Platinum Experience". They were helpful in finding vendors we needed. They even let us come in a day early to decorate. We chose Northern Lights Ballroom because they are a family owned and operated business, and they treated us like family!

Everyone was so nice, caring, and helpful throughout the entire process from booking the venue through the day of our wedding! If you book your wedding at Northern Lights, you are truly supporting such an amazing group of people!! We had so many guests compliment on how incredibly nice everyone was as well!! The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS and spacious, the food is INCREDIBLE (and I mean incredible!!), parking is plentiful, and the venue is so easy to find and see right off Hwy. 169! We have received SO many compliments from our family and friends about the venue and the amazing food!! We had the Italian buffet the night before our wedding, and the Royal Buffet (with carved roast beef and white wine chicken as the main courses) and full dessert bar at our wedding reception, and it was all SO delicious!! We had several guests tell us it was one of the best meals they’ve ever had in their life, and we totally agree!! On top of all that, their prices are incredibly reasonable (especially for the level of service that they provide)!
