About this vendor
Simple Weddings is a wedding-planning company based in Saint Petersburg, FL, with a focus on the beaches and waterfront communities from Clearwater to Sarasota. With almost 15 years in business, the experienced team offers expert guidance navigating the challenges of planning in a busy destination market. From intimate gatherings to deluxe receptions, our talented team of planners prioritize bringing your vision to life. Our unique process simplifies wedding planning, without sacrificing the personal touch. We want to listen to your love story and plan a day that reflects the two of you. Wedding planning is notoriously stressful and most of our couples are trying to juggle family and career obligations. If you're building a house, completing your degree, or growing your family, you don't have time to become the expert on wedding planning - that's where we come in. Because we live and work at the beach, we have first-hand knowledge to help you with every detail. Wedding Planning isn't just about the design or decor, there are a number of elements that will help create a successful event - from budgeting to accommodations and transportation, we have the resources for all of your questions.
The team behind Simple Weddings has spent over a decade cultivating relationships with professional vendor partners who share our commitment to client services. While we are known as beach wedding experts, we created our packages to work at a variety of different ceremony and reception locations, so we can adapt to any venue.
Our owners, Anthony and Amber, have enjoyed rich and varied careers in related industries that give us a broad range of relevant experience. Anthony, known as The Florida Wedding Guy, spent over a decade in marketing and design in baby and juvenile products. He is often the first point of contact for inquiries. Amber is a Jill-of-all-trades having worked in family law, sailing, and the funeral industry. She is a Certified Wedding Planner and florist who manages the logistics and coordination teams. With a diverse team of planners, photographers, officiants, and vendors, our aim has always been to create sentimental weddings that run smoothly. Today, the business has been a multi-year Hall of Fame award recipient along with a host of other industry awards.
Traditionally, wedding planning means that couples have to choose 10-14 different vendors, review a variety of contracts, and pay multiple separate deposits. But Simple Weddings offers comprehensive, customizable ceremony and reception packages for all preferences and budgets. With in-house services and established third-party relationships, we remove the multi-contract headaches. Because our wedding services include options for photography, videography, floral design, plus catering, bar, and entertainment, we are the one choice you need to make.
Simple, comprehensive, and customizable.
We love love and diversity and inclusion are core values for Simple Weddings.

What a wonderful and professional company, they were consistently available for every question while planning to the wedding day. Every item from table linens to centerpieces were ...
extraordinary. They worked very closely with catering company and the DJ. We had the wedding and reception at the same resort. Simple Weddings (Anthony) communicated with the resort owners and everything was coordinated without a single flaw. My wife and I could not ask for a better day. 5☆ in every aspect!!
Working with Simple Weddings made planning our big day stress-free, especially since we were coordinating from out of state. From our first call, every team member was warm and wel...
coming, which immediately put us at ease. They stayed on top of everything and responded to our questions quickly and thoughtfully, giving us helpful suggestions that shaped our vision perfectly. Their reminders kept us organized and made sure all the details fell into place without us having to worry. They took the complexity out of wedding planning and gave us the reassurance we needed to feel confident moving forward. We couldn't have asked for a better team to guide us through the process.

Weddings. the experience was "Top Notch. From the 1st meeting with Anthony Meiring (Owner) to the wedding day on the beach the process was seamless and the wedding was gorgeous. I highly recommend Simple Weddings!
Was great working with Amber and Anthony. Everything was so smooth and I feel like I barely needed to do anything! Highly recommend

ovided is 5 star PLUS! They made having a destination wedding seamless and stress free. When my original location needed to be changed a couple of days prior to the wedding due to a giant pipe being on the beach, Amber was on it that very day and moved location to an even more perfect setting. I am so lucky I found them with a random google search several months ago. I HIGHLY recommend Simple Weddings!
Edit: the more I think about everything the more I am impressed with this company and team. I am a type A person who needs to be in control of everything because I don’t trust anyone to do things how I want them. It was a HUGE step for me to take a leap of faith and let an out of state company plan everything. It paid off, majorly. My flowers were perfection. They matched the decor on the arch and my bridesmaids dresses perfectly. They were everything I envisioned! Everything went perfectly. The decor on the beach, the location, I literally cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you for making my wedding day perfect!

ssing a single detail, and still allowed us to completely personalize every part of our day. She patiently answered my hundreds of questions, and because of her, our wedding turned out exactly the way we envisioned it.
And to top it all off, we were absolutely blown away by her photographer, Heather, our photos are stunning, and we are so in love with them!

hey took all of the stress away and handled everything from the flowers, ceremony set up and photography, My daughters' day was absolutely perfect and stress free. We were actually able to relax and enjoy the wedding. The only thing that we could not control was the unpredictable Florida weather and even that worked out in our favor. If you are considering a wedding vendor Simple Weddings will not disappoint.
I loved working with Simple weddings, they made my wedding of 85 guests headache free and helped make every detail amazing. One stop shop for everything you need!

e that it was her dream to have her ceremony on the beach this control freak mama panicked a tiny bit 🤣 After talk to many wedding planners and starting to feel a little discouraged we met Anthony and my daughter and I both immediately liked him. He was so professional and kind. He has been there with us keeping us focused and on task even when our venue was sadly destroyed in hurricane Helene. He was calling and emailing us keeping us in the loop and we were able to find a new venue rather quickly. My daughter’s wedding day is rapidly approaching and we are all so excited. We can’t wait to see how Anthony pulls everything all together. I would 100% recommend Simple Weddings to anyone who is looking to hire a professional and caring team of people to make your special day a reality.

ul. She did such a great job and made us all feel so beautiful. Our photographer Heather was so great as well. She did so many different types of shots so that we could get as many in as time permitted. Anthony was our officiant and he did such a wonderful job and had such a great personality. While I’ll never need to use them again, I would highly recommend that you do!
Our experience with SimpleWeddingsFlorida.com was nothing short of magnificent! From start to finish, they made our dream beach wedding an absolute breeze. The team was incredibly ...
professional, attentive, and detail-oriented, ensuring that every aspect of our special day was perfect.
The location they helped us choose was breathtaking—a pristine Florida beach with stunning views that set the ideal backdrop for our ceremony. They handled all the logistics seamlessly, from setting up the beautiful décor to coordinating with vendors, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It truly felt like a tailored experience, with every detail crafted to match our vision.
Our wedding planner (Tina) was an absolute gem, guiding us every step of the way with her expertise and warmth. She made sure every detail was executed flawlessly and went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. The makeup and hair stylist (Amber) was also incredible—she made me feel so beautiful and confident, perfectly capturing the look I envisioned for my big day. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she made the getting-ready process so enjoyable.
The officiant (Anthony) was warm and personable, making our ceremony feel intimate and heartfelt. The photographer (Kiersten) captured every magical moment, giving us memories we will cherish forever. What truly set SimpleWeddingsFlorida.com apart was their dedication to making the entire process stress-free. Their communication was prompt and clear, and they were always willing to accommodate our requests, no matter how small.
If you’re looking for a company that will go above and beyond to make your wedding day extraordinary, look no further than SimpleWeddingsFlorida.com. They took all the pressure off our shoulders and gave us the perfect day we had always dreamed of. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding experience!
Simple Weddings planned and set up our wedding in St. Pete back in January 2024 and the day went off without a hitch. It really felt magical to us and our guests had a blast. Amber...
has a wealth of experience, and we leaned on her expertise the whole way.
Services we used from SW were wedding planning & coordinating, flowers, photographer & videographer, make up artist, and supplies like the arch, chairs, and linens. If you're considering getting married on a lawn, SW has arches made for that, whereas some of the other beach wedding companies in the area don't.
Amber has a ton of knowledge about flowers and bouquets, so if you're struggling on decisions, definitely ask her. To save money, she advised on using silk flowers in some places and they turned out great. We also really loved our photos and video highlights - I know those are more subjective things, but we saved a lot of money by going through SW. So if you're budget conscious, just letting you know we had a great experience with this aspect too.
Overall, we were happy with everyone we worked with at SW! Everyone was so professional and answered all our questions during planning. The day of, they arrived early, we didn't have to worry about anything from start to finish, and they were so supportive and caring about us and our guests. We will definitely recommend them to our friends if they choose FL for a destination wedding.
I cannot say enough good things about Amber and her team! Amber was always prompt when responding to e mails/texts, took time to have video conferences with me, was so patient and ...
helpful…all the things!!! She really knows her stuff and is SO GOOD AT IT ALL!! Everyone raved about the food we had from the catering company they work with. Heather and Rod (photographer and videographer) worked so well together and made taking pictures fun (my husband HATES taking photos and didn’t complain once!). Not to mention we got our photos back 3 days after the ceremony! Our ceremony and reception decorations were a dream and it all came from them, it was better than I could have ever hoped for. Amber kept things running the day of the ceremony and kept everyone on time, which I loved because it gave us plenty of time to dance and have fun, which is what we wanted. I am forever thankful that we found this team and highly, highly recommend them!!!!! They are fabulous!

big day was made very easy working with Amber. Every detail was covered from the altar/seating, hair/makeup, photography/videography, florals, day of coordination, ext. and for a reasonable cost. Being from out of town all of this was essential! Our wedding was exactly what I wanted! They made my dream of getting married on the beach barefoot come true! Our videographer of Rod Baker Videos was THE BEST! Our video is priceless! Its hard to put into words how much we love it! I would highly recommend hiring Simple Weddings Florida as your wedding planner. 10 out of 10! A million gold stars!!

Dylan Todd was our photographer and I cry when I look at my photos…AMAZING!! My wedding day was perfect because of all these individuals! Adam and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
When I say I didn't have to worry about a single detail, I mean I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORRY about one thing!
The team at Simple Weddings are pros who operate like a well-oiled machine ...
with a great big heart.
Their caring attention to detail, and willingness to answer all our questions, made the planning process easy and allowed my husband and I to relax and truly enjoy our wedding day.
I know they do weddings all the time, but they made us feel like we were their only clients!
I highly recommend Simple Weddings if you want to feel spoiled!

ve our renewal. I contacted Simple Weddings and Amber who made the whole process easy. I chose a package for a Thursday and was given flower and arch options that fit the look I wanted. Everything from ceremony, hair and make and photography was a pleasure. Simple Weddings created a beautiful setting for my husband and family to celebrate. Simple Weddings made the whole process easy and would send me information and notes months before the ceremony and they executed everything I wanted beautifully. I loved that everything was taken care of in-house so I just had to let Amber know what I wanted, such as having hair and make-up for myself and my daughter, and then Justina came to my rental to make everyone feel beautiful. Dylan did an awesome job with our photos and was able to capture both loving and stunning photos along with some photos that captured family members' goofy sides. I can not recommend Simple Weddings enough if you want a one-stop shop for a vow renewal or an awesome beach wedding.

d think of when I needed to plan my wedding. Simple Weddings helped myself and my 'not-so-well-versed' husband plan our wedding in Orlando and everything went off amazingly. It was truly a blessed day and Amber and Anthony, the co-owners of Simple Weddings, did so much for our wedding that we can't thank them enough; from moving florals and directing guests - they were there for it all to help with day of coordination. If you're looking for knowledgable friendly service - they've got your back!
Punctual, great to work with, pictures amazing, video beautiful! It was a special day for us!

e live a long distance from Florida. I can’t recommend her planning skills enough. It was such a relief to have someone to coordinate the village it takes to plan a wedding. She communicated our wishes with everyone- florist, bakery, hair, catering, etc. When we finally saw everything come together on the day, it was clear that Amber had addressed every detail we had envisioned and even added some personal touches showing how much she invests in her couples. The music timing was perfect, the decorations were just as we described, she controlled the flow of events seamlessly. I really can’t offer enough praises for Amber- she works very hard and it is quite obvious this is her expertise and passion.
Anthony and Amber were more than I could have asked for when it came to coordinators. As an out of state bride, who had never even visited Florida they both went above and beyond ...
to calm any nerves and explain everything I could get with our package. After expressing a few wants and showing a some inspiration photos our wedding was PINTEREST perfect. Dylan was our photographer and even he was more than I ever hoped for. Amazing energy, positive attitude and stunning sneak peeks of our wedding photos. Our wedding was more beautiful than I had pictured in my head. They absolutely over delivered. We would definitely recommend Simple weddings. 10/10

for making our dream beach wedding into a reality. From the very beginning, Anthony made us feel really comfortable working with him, and he was very attentive to all of our wishes; to put it simply, Anthony is the epitome of professionalism. Simple Weddings made the daunting wedding planning process not only easy, but fun, especially when it came to choosing from the wonderful inventory of decorations. Simple Weddings and Anthony allowed us to create a beautiful wedding setting that was uniquely us. When Covid forced us to change our date twice, Anthony did not skip a beat and made sure everything and our vendors were in order for our big day when it finally came. Simple Weddings and Anthony took the stress out of wedding planning, and ensured our big day went off without a hitch. If you are planning a wedding in the St. Petes/Tampa area, look no further than Simple Weddings. Thank you, Simple Weddings and Anthony, for helping us create the best day of our lives.

ed on everything that is going on, and have so much knowledge about every detail you could think of for a destination wedding. We gave our deposit and picked our wedding date about 2 weeks before the pandemic shut the US down, and the least stressful thing that happened in our wedding planning for the year was dealing with our wedding planner, Amber. Everything that we wanted incorporated into our wedding day was done, and if we weren't sure about what we wanted, we were given the best recommendations. We were able to have our wedding as planned and scheduled, and our day was PERFECT. I am so happy that we chose Simple Weddings to help us with our day. The first thing my new husband said to me after our wedding was, "can we break up so we can get married again?" Anthony and Amber will always have a special place in our most memorable day.

felt so much better about all the stress of planning a wedding. Having a hard working and competent planner who is willing to accommodate your requests and goes above and beyond to make your vision come to reality is such great feeling. From the lead up to the day and all the pre planning to helping it all come together, day of the wedding, with decor and timing/flow, it all went off without a hitch with much of the credit going to Amber and her business partner Anthony. We definitely appreciated all of their hard work and attentiveness, I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in St. Pete's/St Petersburgh/Tampa area!

on the original day since the world is so uncertain. About one month out, I spoke to the owner, Anthony. He was warm and friendly, and I was instantly sold on the idea of one of their ceremony packages. Amber was an absolute angel who handled all the details. And man did we luck out with Jonathan’s photography. Our photos are absolutely stunning. Our day, while not exactly what we planned originally, was really quite perfect. Many of our friends and family have agreed. Only thing we would change is the guest list.
We got married a month ago in Indian Rocks Beach, and having Simple Weddings take care of our big day was one of the best decisions we made!! Anthony scheduled a few calls with me ...
to go over everything that we had envisioned for our special day, he was very responsive and on top of every detail, he also coordinated everything with the other vendors involved, which were all very professional. Anthony really made sure that our ceremony reflected us as a couple, and we couldn’t have been happier, our wedding turned out beautiful and truly stress free!!!
Thank you Simple Weddings♥️
The wedding was beautiful and Simple Weddings really did make the wedding simply easy for the bride and that's the best you can ask for out of a wedding. Thank you Simple Weddings!

we researched a little To just look and came across simple weddings. Being within our budget, we reached out to just get some information.
We ended up deciding on a very small micro wedding with our immediate family and had invited our wedding party and planned the big party down the road when we are able to do so. I cant tell you how easy simple weddings made everything especially with having covid trying to ruin your wedding plans on several different occasions. Everyone told me I was crazy for going to florida to get married amongst the pandemic and that I should have looked at local places that were “safe within our state.” In all honesty, I actually felt more safe than going to a local grocery store.
Amber and Anthony were so welcoming! They are beyond budget friendly with several different packages offered. Amber was such an amazing wedding planner and guided us through the whole process of what we needed, local places/vendors and how to even obtain an out of state marriage license in impeccable detail.
We even had threats of hurricanes days prior to the wedding and Amber had a plan A, B, and C. Even dealing with covid, we were well informed on any state changes and what was going to be required. I cant stress enough to how wonderful and helpful Amber was.
I would highly recommend simple weddings to anyone looking for a beach wedding.

If it's just you and your partner or 100s of people, they make your event and life sooo much easier in a time of what could be chaos. Can't say enough about Simple Weddings. Although there is nothing simple about there decor and presentation.
