we knew it was the one. The venue is stunning — modern yet warm, with gorgeous architectural details and an effortlessly chic vibe that feels both elevated and welcoming. Deity is truly a dream for couples planning a wedding in NYC. They host weddings from 50 to 150 guests, and we chose their 50-person micro wedding package. Their pricing is transparent and incredibly reasonable for NYC — packages range from $12K–$18K, and we added their breathtaking bridal suite for an additional $3,000, which was worth every penny. The suite is spectacular: two bathrooms, a shower, a full kitchen, a balcony, incredible photography space, a huge sleigh bed, a stunning tub, luxe velvet and leather furniture, exposed brick, and access to a rooftop with a hot tub and cold plunge. It made our wedding morning feel like a luxury retreat and gave us the most beautiful getting-ready photos. What really sets Deity apart is that they are fully all-inclusive and tip-free, which made planning so much less stressful. They handled coat check, bartenders, staffing, a day-of coordinator, DJ/MC, room transitions between floors, passed appetizers, a excellent, generous family style seated dinner, and a full bar with fantastic food and drinks. They also offer beautiful decor basics including a gorgeous hexagon arch, candles, mirrors, table numbers, linens, chairs, and all flatware. This allowed us to personalize the day with our own invites, florals, attire, officiant, dessert, and additional vendors without feeling overwhelmed. Our coordinator was absolutely phenomenal — calm, organized, and truly invested in making our day perfect. The owner, Caio, was lovely, warm, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. We had several planning meetings, a detailed walk-through, and many email exchanges, and we always felt supported and at ease. We also loved the group tasting experience they offered with other couples getting married that month — it was such a thoughtful and fun touch. All in, we were able to have our entire wedding in downtown Brooklyn for around $35K — about $20K to the venue and $15K for extras — which felt like an incredible value for the level of service, quality, and beauty we received. Location-wise, Deity is unbeatable. Being so close to Barclays Center meant there were at least seven hotels within a seven-minute walk, making it super convenient for our out-of-town guests. The flexibility to bring in our own vendors (outside of food and alcohol) made the entire process smooth, creative, and joyful. Truly, the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. I would choose Deity Events a thousand times over and can only highly recommend for other couples to choose Deity so they can have an equally incredible experience.

They were both extremely accommodating, understanding, and willing to work with us to ensure that the day went exactly as we had planned. The service and food throughout the night also exceeded our expectations, with a few of our guests saying that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. venue in new york city but when we found Deity - I thought, this is too good to be true and booked a viewing immediately. We were immediately impressed with not only the gorgeous venue but their all in one package, and the flexibility and kindness we received on our initial viewing made us confident we found the right place. Throughout the wedding process Caio always answered my questions and were so open to all our ideas and remained flexible to help us execute a unique and special day. On the day of the wedding and leading up we had the pleasure of working with Anastasia who helped execute everything for us. The day ran so smoothly and Anastasia did not miss a beat - she not only ran the entire show, she always made sure we were taken care of and she quickly became a close friend we trusted that night. The chef James executed a special all vegan menu for us and both us and our guests raved about the food and we are still being told our delicious the vegan meatballs were! The bartenders and servers were also all amazing, the drinks were amazing and the service was quick. The DJ also killed it and was able to keep everyone on the dance floor all night and also went above and beyond with our song requests for the day. We are so beyond happy we got married at Deity and could have not found a better venue that cared so much, was filled with so much detail and care and had the best employees working for them who made it all possible.

A special shoutout to Anastacia, who made me smile all day long and somehow managed to bustle my dress in under five minutes — she’s a total unicorn! Chef James created absolute perfection on every plate; our guests are still raving about the food. The Caviar Potato was an unforgettable showstopper! Thank you also to Matt, who made every guest feel at home and coordinated our late-night bites — such a fun and delicious touch. The bartenders absolutely understood the assignment (let’s just say everyone’s dance moves improved after visiting them 😂). And DJ BenHa — you are one of a kind! Every song hit perfectly, our requests were honored, and the dance floor never stopped. It was pure joy from start to finish. Deity is truly a gem — from the stunning multi-level design to the heart of the people who run it. Our guests were completely wowed as they experienced each unique floor throughout the night. We can’t wait to come back to celebrate more love and milestones in this magical space. Highly, highly recommend Deity NYC for any elegant, love-filled event. ail hour room, which all of our guests loved. From start to finish, the planning process was simple and straightforward. You have one big meeting where everything gets laid out. After that, Anastasia, Caio, and the rest of the team were always quick to respond to emails when we needed to make adjustments. They were professional, organized, and made sure both we and our families felt taken care of throughout the day. Having almost everything in-house (e.g., everything less flowers, cake, photography) also made the whole process less stressful. Compared to other venues we looked at, Deity felt like a value and a way to make our guests feel like they were having an "authentic" NYC/Brooklyn wedding. The food and drinks were another highlight. The short rib was especially memorable, and the bar staff worked with us to create custom cocktails and pre-batch them so no one was stuck waiting in line. The DJ was flexible with our specific music tastes and vision for the evening and collaborated seamlessly when we brought in a drag queen for dinner, which turned into a huge hit with our guests. I’d also recommend booking the couple’s suite. It gave us a place to relax, get ready, and even host a pool party that added a really fun element to the day! Relaxing with our wedding guests earlier in the day was a really great way to connect with folks. Overall, Deity delivered on every level. We’re grateful to Anastasia, Caio, and the whole team for making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be.

I highly recommend doing a tasting beforehand — chef is incredibly accomplished, and the food was outstanding. The servers were very attentive, and Ben, the DJ, absolutely knocked it out of the park. He read the vibe of the room so well and literally kept people on the dance floor all night. The convenience for the price point is absolutely unmatched: ✅ sumptuous getting-ready suite ✅ ceremony space ✅ reception space ✅ on-site catering and bar ✅ linens, dinnerware, glasses, furnishings ✅ bar staff and servers One piece of advice for future couples: hire your own coordinator to act as an advocate and buffer on your wedding day — a kind of stage manager. Deity does provide a day-of coordinator, but we had some frustrating challenges on this front. Looking back, it would have helped to have someone outside the venue team fully dedicated to managing the timeline and wrangling bridal parties, family, and vendors, and executing our vision overall. You’ll work with Deity’s coordinator in the lead-up to create a timeline (make it as detailed as humanly possible — lists upon lists!), but there were still moments when we were pulled out of the celebration to answer questions or remind the coordinator of details already in the plan. Having an additional coordinator would have allowed us to stay more fully present. That said, our overall experience at Deity was overwhelmingly positive, 10/10, would get married there again. The atmosphere, food, service, and convenience made for an unforgettable wedding. If you’re looking for a charming venue that captures the magic of New York while taking so much of the logistical stress off your shoulders, Deity is a wonderful choice.

mbled upon Deity through their amazing reviews and reached out to Caio to see if we can take a tour of the venue. His response time was faster than any of the other places that I’ve reached out to and he has been so accommodating to my schedule to tour. Upon touring the place, it was such a “Brooklyn vibe” with the exposed brick in the loft as well as the amazing cellar and dance floor. Its unique structure was also a great selling point for us as all of the places were isolated on a specific floor. The highlight was certainly the wedding suite on the top floor! After our tour, we knew that this was the place for our wedding. Initially, we were planning a micro wedding but having physically looked at the venue, we opted for the all-inclusive wedding along with the bridal suite option. Honestly, the prices were too good not to go for it. Caio and his team thankfully had the exact date we wanted for our wedding. Planning for the wedding was such a breeze thanks to Caio and his team. They would periodically reach out to coordinate the wedding and any questions I had would prompt an immediate response from his team. Caio’s team coordinated everything with my additional vendors and honestly made planning so easy. All I had to do was just tell his team what I wanted for the wedding. Inching closer to the day of, we had scheduled a food tasting with Chef James so we had a better idea of what to pick for the menu. If you have the budget for it, certainly opt for the tasting. Chef James is a master at what he does. Every single plate of food that was presented was meticulously explained and not to mention delicious! One of the biggest things that guests care about at a wedding is the food and let me tell you, the food was delicious. We had our reservations of whether or not there would be enough food given it was family-style, but all of our guests were well fed and full. After the wedding, our guests wouldn’t stop talking about the food! On the day of the wedding, we had access to the venue in the morning to bring our outfits to the wedding suite. This area was great as it provided the perfect space for us, along with friends and family to get ready. Hair and makeup were all done in the wedding suite prior to the wedding. Guests upon arrival were directed by staff and for welcome drinks and taken to the loft prior to the ceremony. After the ceremony, we were directed back to the wedding suite for a chance for the two of us to enjoy some snacks and take a breather while guests were enjoying cocktail hour. Halfway throughout cocktail hour, we were guided back to mingle with guests and then went back upstairs for the reception. After enjoying a wonderful meal, it was time to party down at the cellar. DJ BenHa had such a great playlist and guests enjoyed a wonderful night of dancing. Plus, the open bar concept and specialty cocktails curated by the bartending team were such a hit. Even to this day, when I speak to guests, they can’t stop talking about our wedding. If you want an affordable, all-inclusive, all-planned out wedding, Deity is your bet. Caio and his team will ensure that your wedding will be stress-free and a breeze.

We did not need a wedding planner. Caio, Anastasia (our day of coordinator), and the rest of the amazing staff took the best care of us leading up to and on the day of the wedding. We were treated like royalty and really felt special. DJ and music kept the dance floor active the entire night. Finally, we had HIGH expectations for the food and cocktails after our tasting. And even these were exceeded. Everything was delicious and you can trust quality for each of your guests will be as good as your initial tasting experience. Chef James is one of a kind. We can’t rave about Deity enough.

We also had the pleasure of checking out the new Supper Club on Valentine’s Day and it brought us right back. Incredible prix fixe menu with something to offer for everyone, we’re looking forward to going back ASAP! For the pricing, convenience and attentiveness of its staff, it’s a no-brainer to book your event at Deity and check out the new Supper Club!

o include a basic decor package, but you can decorate it how you want, within their guidelines. I hired a lighting vendor to add fairly lights on the walls to complement Deity's light ceiling and brought in my own decor which they worked with my coordinator's team to assemble. This was totally optional, and Deity was very accommodating to our desires but that is not the best part. The chef is amazing. He is so kind and took the time to explain the dishes and make changes for some of our guests with dietary restrictions. The food was delicious and in abundance, guests are still talking about it. I couldn't stop eating the steak and they kept giving it to me. Another part is their DJ kept everyone on the dance floor. He played every song we asked for and all the songs to match. We had to make people leave after the music was off. They were still having fun. All it takes is good food, drinks and good music for people to have a great time. Our guests enjoyed themselves and so did we. The venue is beautiful and fit our theme perfectly. Moving thru the space was a bit tiring, as it is multi levels, but they helped everyone in need and kept the flow seamless. We knew there would be stairs and prepared our guest beforehand, but no one complained. My mom loved using the chair lift and was so happy they had it. We rented the loft space for both parties to get ready. It was a great addition to have everyone in one place before the wedding because Downtown Brooklyn traffic was insane that day, as usual. It was a great area for getting ready pics and of course, to get ready. The rooftop provided a great location for photos. This add-on really helped us have more wedding time because it was all in one location. Our weeknight micro wedding was intimate, filled with love and Deity provided the laid back and fun atmosphere we wanted. Our guests loved the space and had many conversations about the stained-glass windows. Everyone on the Deity team was extremely friendly and helpful. They emailed promptly and accommodated all our needs without any issues. They were upfront with their fees. We would highly recommend.

t pricing information, to the first tour with Caio, to securing our date, coming in for a menu tasting and having our planning meeting with Anna and Kat - every step of the way reinforced my confidence that choosing Deity as our wedding venue was the right choice! The space is a beautiful historic building that's been converted to a four story (plus rooftop!) party venue. I loved that Deity provides all the dinnerware, linens and candles, it really limited the decisions we had to make so we could focus on personal touches for our day. We wanted our wedding to feel like an amazing house party, which Deity perfectly delivered. Anna was an incredible coordinator, so on top of everything and thoughtful. The day-of team ran everything so smoothly - I honestly wasn't stressed for a moment, because everyone was organized, calm and clearly loves what they do. The chef and DJ (part of the all-inclusive pricing!) were also amazing. Our guests are still raving about the delicious family-style dinner from the mind of Chef James; and how DJ BenHaMeen read the room and kept us dancing and singing until the wee hours of the morning. And then we met the staff. We could write a book about the people who work and run Deity; they made our day. Anna and Caio radiate love of love, and they are clearly committed to making weddings magical. We were so calm on the day of our wedding thanks to them. Every single person on the staff was thoughtful, personable, kind, and professional. The guests raved about the staff, the food (the food!!! Omg delicious!), the space, the DJ (Ben was awesome!), and the bartenders. Our wedding felt seamless and we actually got to enjoy every moment. We’d say the bridal suite is a must; it’s gorgeous and it added so much to the day to get ready there and have a first look. We faced a heat wave, so we barely used the rooftop, but it was lovely to go up there for photos. We did a tasting of the food beforehand and were so impressed, and it tasted even better day-of. The chef also surprised us with an epic cheese and fruit platter in addition to the appetizers during cocktail hour, and our guests loved it. Anna, the day-of coordinator, and Anastasia both took really good care of us. They built in moments for us to have alone time, helped us with our clothes and belongings, and kept everything moving smoothly. The pricing, as advertised, is transparent and there are no hidden fees. It was a really affordable wedding for New York and for us, and we appreciated that we were able to budget for it from the start with no surprises. We’d get married here 100 more times if we could, it was that good! Thank you, Deity, for an unforgettable experience. You are all in our hearts forever.

We also paid extra for the getting ready suite which is gorgeous. There is so much space and we loved the suite and the rooftop. The food was amazing! We are still hearing from guests that it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. Our DJ, Ben, was awesome! He understood exactly what we wanted music wise and the energy was high until the very last song. We are so happy we had our wedding at Deity! We wish we would do the day all over again. We are so grateful to the entire team at Deity for bringing our dream wedding come to life!

you read the blogs, you study your friends' weddings and get tons of advice, but still you don't know what it's really like. The staff at Deity do--they do this every day. I could write about how great the space is, how much fun everyone had, and how reasonable the price was, and I'll get to all of that, but I want to emphasize what the pictures can't. Our wedding day ran smoothly and comfortably for us and our guests, and it's due to the staff at Deity. They anticipated our needs, gave us lots of helpful advice in both the planning stages and the day of, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding we wanted. Anna, the coordinator, answered my endless emails and asked even more questions that hadn't occurred to me, and on the day of she handled everything so seamlessly I actually got to enjoy myself; Caio, the owner, gave our officiant (my brother) tips about when to move the mic for the smoothest possible ceremony, and made sure my train looked perfect right when I first stepped out into the aisle; and none of the staff batted an eye when I came down an hour before the guests were arriving to say I needed help hiding clues for a scavenger hunt that I had not told them I was planning. They made sure my husband and I got something to eat and a quiet moment to ourselves, they helped us load an Uber at almost midnight on a Sunday with all the stuff we'd brought. They made the whole day feel seamless and fun, and I cannot thank them enough. Also, so many of my guests made a point to tell me how good the food was. I'll admit, I was a little nervous about committing to the in-house catering without a tasting (we were lucky enough to get a sample from Chef James on our initial tour), but my fears were entirely unfounded. The passed appetizers were genuinely amazing, and the food served at the family-style dinner was tasty and actually hot, which I feel like is rare amongst weddings I've been to. They also were very helpful in accommodating our guests with dietary restrictions, including coordinating an order from a restaurant for a celiac guest, whom their kitchen wasn't equipped to serve. The bar was also great, helped us come up with custom cocktails, and there was cocktail service everywhere, including on the dance floor. When I factored in the food and drink to the total cost we paid for Deity, it's also a really good deal, compared to other local catering options! I won't say too much about the space because you can see it in the pictures and judge the vibe for yourself on a tour. But I will say that having different spaces for the different parts of the event was great, and having the suite for getting ready (and for retreating to when we needed a moment) was a godsend--not to mention wonderful for our photos! Sunset skyine photos without leaving the venue? Don't mind if I do! The location was great for both our in town guests, and those staying at nearby hotels. If you like the look of Deity, don't hesitate. I hope your wedding there turns out just as wonderful as ours!

he pricing was very transparent and super reasonable considering everything that’s included – the venue (lounge, loft, and basement), day-of coordinator, food, $50 bar credit pp, basic décor package, and DJ. The space is gorgeous and so unique, unlike any other venue we’ve attended as guests or toured. Each floor has a purpose and accompanying vibe to match – the bridal suite is relaxing and picturesque (highly recommend adding this to your day for an added cost), the cocktail lounge is dreamy, the ceremony loft (and dinner space) is bright yet cozy, and the basement dance floor is funky and fun. Because the venue was already beautifully designed and all inclusive, the only things we needed to provide for the ceremony/reception were signage (welcome, table arrangements, his/her drinks), minimal décor/flowers (we hired a florist for the ceremony arch and did bud vases for the tables and they turned out beautiful), and dessert. Some (including me) may be nervous about all-inclusive venues, however Deity was so accommodating to the little ways in which we wanted to make our wedding unique, such as incorporating cultural outfit changes into the schedule to setting up a late-night instant noodle bar. Finally, Anna, the coordinator included with the venue, was a godsend. She made the whole wedding planning process so much easier, patiently answered all my random questions, and provided guidance where needed. The day of: Our family and friends were blown away by the bridal suite. We were relaxed the whole morning while getting ready and got some beautiful photos to start off the day. Once the day started rolling, Anna and the whole Deity team were on top of everything. They made sure everyone was on schedule but also were flexible with last minute changes, even making sure my husband and I had private moments to ourselves. The food was delicious and plentiful. We had so many guests compliment the cocktail hour bites and dinner service, even our very picky grandma said it was the best salmon she’s ever had. The drinks were flowing and we had guests commenting on how drink service on the dance floor was genius – everyone could continue dancing and no one was ever waiting with an empty glass. Also, my husband and I were initially nervous about an in-house DJ because we are very picky with music but DJ BenHaMeen was amazing, listened to our wants and needs, and kept the dance floor lively (our photographer even complimented the music!). All in all, we cannot recommend Deity enough. Our guests are still asking if we can have a wedding there every year (we wish!).

We decided immediately that we needed to book this spot for our wedding. Anna was IMMENSELY helpful in the planning process and answered all our questions patiently, recommended vendors, and provided great guidance overall. Our wedding was a Hindu ceremony and this was the first time Deity was hosting a Hindu ceremony. Anna was extremely accommodating of the various needs and traditions. The tasting was also professional, and we loved the bartender’s special creations for us (I still think of that drink!). Prices-wise, Deity is so upfront about all the costs and everything is extremely reasonable for their quality of the service. I absolutely love the all-inclusive packages – it makes everything so much easier to navigate in a world of crazy wedding prices! On the day off, we got the suite to get ready in – and I highly highly recommend getting that suite. It’s CLUTCH to have that space to get ready in with the wedding party, and it is ENORMOUS - we had 15 people and they were all super comfortable. It also makes for extremely cute photos! Once the wedding started, Anna and Emily took over everything and treated us like royalty - no one bothered us for a single detail and everything we had thought of was taken care of! I was a bit worried about moving folks up and down the multiple floors, but the Deity team are pros and know how to handle a crowd - even a boisterous Indian one! People still come up to me and share how much they loved the venue, the drinks, and are in awe of the Deity team and their immense professionalism. If you are looking for a unique, beautiful venue to host your wedding, don’t hesitate to book Deity! I promise you won’t regret it!

Emily was also so incredibly helpful on our big day and even went out of her way to help pin up my dress for me after the ceremony. The venue itself has so many picturesque features, we didn’t even need to leave the gorgeous bridal suite to capture most of our amazing photos. Finally, from our hand picked appetizers to the delicious dinner service, all of the food was incredible! Our favorite part was being privately served the appetizers and signature drinks in the suite after our ceremony. The staff at Deity made us feel like celebrities on our most special day, I couldn’t have imagined it being any more perfect!
