yed responses if any at all, we involved a lawyer, which then took an additional two months to resolve with his lawyers similarly lack of/delayed responses. Joshs lawyer tried to blame any delays on us meanwhile I have all the texts and Instagram DMs (only way I could get a response most times). He also tried to say there was no timeframe in Joshs contract for the album etc our contract included meanwhile it clearly stated the album would be ready 6 weeks after the gallery. We requested a partial refund given none of the contracted timeframes, part of what you pay for, were met. We were offered an insulting amount with the assumption that we would then sign an NDA. The gallery, which was supposed to be available 8 weeks after our wedding, took 17 weeks to receive. Thats after receiving only one sneak peek of our entire wedding day meanwhile Josh posts several photos/footage of other weddings shortly thereafter. Dont most people book vendors based on what they see online? There was never a reason given for any delays nor an apology. I am not sure how it could have taken so long given most of the gallery was seemingly unedited. We got married in December, yes a darker month, but I assumed as a professional, Josh would be prepared for the days lighting. Most of the photos are dark & not in a moody intentional way & others over exposed.  I wish I would have let guests photograph our ceremony as we likely wouldve ended up with some better shots. Josh underutilized both our first look location & our wedding location. Our family photos were posed in front of dead trees rather than the mansion we were at. I get it was cold & I wanted kids in the photos which meant we had to work quick but I again thought as this was a location Josh had shot at before, he would know the best locations to use. I was not a bridezilla in any way but the one specific photo I did request on the spiral staircase was ignored. (we never asked him to go back & edit anything & approved the album right away when we finally got a proof despite his contract allowing for edits.) We had also discussed getting photos with other family members that were not at the first look at cocktail hour however, Josh disappeared for the entire cocktail hour. There are no cocktail hour photos & there are not enough reception detail photos to justify the entire hour.  I know the day was about us but I expected more guest photos of which there werent many. Our included engagement shoot went fine, Josh seemed fun to work with & while the photos took 2 months to receive I wasnt waiting on them for save the dates so I didnt think much of it.  Joshs persona on our wedding day was very different, he didnt seem to want to be there, at times using his cell phone behind his camera to make it look like he was busy working? I work in a high level of customer service, so I expected more from Josh based on his reputation & his luxury pricing. He should be providing clear & concise communication with everything provided on time & any next steps explained. The products we received are nice quality & Im glad to have the USB as his website is not user friendly; but I wish something that should have taken 14 weeks didnt end up taking 14 months. I hope no one has this experience with Josh but if its not his norm, then why us?

a boudoir photoshoot done by Josh as a gift for my husband for our wedding. I remember him telling me "it really becomes more of a gift for the person actually doing the shoot." He was so right. My pictures came out HOT and seriously couldn't even believe that was me when I saw the final shots. Phew 🥵🔥. Josh is super professional and made the whole experience of a doing a boudoir shoot laid-back and fun! I went in a bit anxious because my "hype girl" as he suggested I bring couldn't make it. I ended up not needing one though because Josh is a hype girl himself lmao. Seriously though, I left feeling empowered and excited to share my photos with my husband who absolutely LOVES them!! I know I need more photos done by Josh so I booked a couples session for the spring and cannot wait!!

Moving on from there he did my engagement shoot (which was absolutely miserable for my fiancé) but Josh did every single thing to make it go by as quick & painless as possible for both of us. BUT, the best of the best is my wedding day story. My now husband told me a photographer was “out of our budget” on our special day but little did I know he had already hired Josh to come surprise me before, during AND after! I couldn’t have been happier to see him show up that afternoon and capture the best day of my life to date. I will forever recommend Josh to anyone & everyone who needs amazing photos!

It is a photo of my Dad watching my husband and I walk out of the church after being announced as husband and wife and the smile on his face makes me light up every time I look at the photo. This is what being a photographer is all about - it’s about having that special eye to capture those once in a lifetime moments that happen in a second. ternet stalking, I was definitely interested. When I started wedding planning, I felt a lot of things had become "standard" and generic. Photography one of them. BUT, Josh's photos really seemed like he goes into every project looking at it as an individual. You could also see in Josh's work that HE makes decisions and is creative. We set up a meeting with Josh. Once meeting him I knew we would book him. He is DEFINITELY the guy you want around you on your big day. It honestly felt like I knew him forever and he is such a good energy. He's funny and normal, and not mean at all. But he also gets the shots he needs and takes charge. Seriously, we had a LARGE wedding party (20 bridesmaids and groomsmen, 10 children, then our parents) and no first look, so there was no extra time besides cocktail hour for ALL of our pictures. Josh kept his cool the whole time while honestly forcing my difficult family to pay attention to him and keep the day moving. Also, I wasn't the easiest bride, but Josh never ever made me feel like I was driving him crazy (although I'm sure I did LOL). I really appreciated that Josh read the room all day/night and did what he thought OUR wedding day needed. During the wedding process, I realized quickly there are a lot of vendors that just have a standard procedure and they are unable to adapt to something new-- Josh is NOT one of those vendors. You also must know, that he's not just a great person to work with, he has TALENT. I was so worried about engagement photos, and honestly loved so many it was hard to choose which to print! Our wedding was only a couple of weeks ago, but we did already get a sneak peek and the photo we were sent is STUNNING. I'm so excited to see more and know I will love our wedding album from Josh. Honestly, if you are looking for talent, good energy, fun, reliable, and professional, definitely book Josh.

hat he is not just simply taking photos. Josh + Steph plan ahead so when you get to your location for your engagement shoot, wedding venue, church, etc., they are prepared. You can see that he has come to your special day with an idea of what he envisioned for the best photos for you. Additionally, you see that he is continuously thinking throughout the photos on if he's getting the best angle, if there is enough light, etc. Another key thing that I want to point out in this review is something that Josh & Steph pointed out when they first met with us. There are about 4 people who will be with you the majority of your special day. They are your best man, maid of honor, and your photographer(s)/videographer(s). Therefore, make sure you LIKE your photographer! My wife and I could see right after meeting Josh & Steph that not only were they great at what they do together professionally, but also and more importantly great people. It was an easy decision for us to choose Josh as our photographer after meeting them and knowing that we would have him & Steph with us on our day. Josh made our day special with his charm, jokes, and seeing how crazy he will get to get the perfect angle for your own picture. Steph & Josh fit right into the wedding party/family time & moments, which made the picture process so smooth and seamless as it never felt that we were "working for the photographer," but instead enjoying our moment with our friends & family. To no surprise, the pictures were detailed & beautiful when received. Our families and friends have had endless compliments as well. Lastly, Josh & Steph have become actual friends to my wife and I. They are amazing at what they do together, but even better people.
