Tracy is very easy to work with. This venue is worth every penny! The days leading up to the event she answered any questions I had. She helped design the layout for the reception. The day of the event she kept everything running smoothly! Great venue and even greater people!

This is by far the best venue in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. From the stunning landscaping to the beautifully decorated facility, this place offers you the rustic and elegant feel many brides are looking for. This gorgeous place offers two outside ceremony spots and one indoor option as well. I originally did not want to get married outside, but completely changed my mind as soon as I saw the outside fireplace ceremony spot. We visited several venues in/around Birmingham, but felt like we would be losing money at several of them. We actually saved so much money by booking Douglas Manor. They offer so many great features that are included in the set price that almost all of the other facilities do not. My husband and I immediately felt at home on our first visit there. Tracie, the venue owner, makes you feel like family and makes this such an easy experience. She is there for you 24/7 and answers all your questions (even twice when you forget). My husband and I actually switched our wedding date in order to book this venue. Do yourself a favor and go visit this place. Even if you are unsure on what you actually want in terms of your wedding theme/venue, go visit this place. You will not regret it.

Tracie was incredible and extremely helpful! The venue is beautiful inside and out. We were married in October, and our pictures turned out gorgeous with all the trees and the sun setting in the background. You are able to bring in any vendor you want as well. I would highly recommend Douglas Manor!

Douglas Manor was the perfect location for our Fall Wedding. The outside venue was beautiful for our ceremony and the inside reception hall was the perfect setting for the cooler evening. The staff is pleasant and easy to work with. Never had any issues. Great venue for an outdoor wedding that allows vendor flexibility as well.

Douglas Manor was the perfect venue for us. We wanted an outside ceremony and an inside reception and this venue was exactly what we were looking for. The family that owns the property keeps it looking perfect and they are always available when you need them. Tracie was a huge help for planning everything and they will even do the set up and clean up for your event. They only book one wedding per day, so there's no time crunch. They also have lots of decorative items that you can use at no extra rental cost. We fell in love with the venue the minute we arrived and it was a huge part in making our wedding what we always dreamt of! Definitely would recommend to any bride!
